Wooing Stubborn Mates

Chapter 13

“You know what Sesshomaru?” Harry asked getting a ‘hmmm’ from Sesshomaru, “I think it’s about time we had a nice long talk.”

“Oh?” Sesshomaru asked with a raised eyebrow, “And what is this ‘nice long talk’ going to be about?”

Harry gave one of his normal grins, but Sesshomaru could tell that it seemed to be lacking something.

“About my past, or my future,” Harry answered.

“I guess that my thoughts was correct then,” Sesshomaru said with a soft sigh as he pulled Harry closer so his head was resting on his (Sesshomaru’s) chest, “That you are from Kagome’s time.”

Harry blinked in surprise, but did not move, “What are you on about?”

“That’s right, you don’t know,” Sesshomaru said more to himself then Harry, “Kagome isn’t from this time; she fell down a well from the future to get here and broke a jewel. With my brother they went on many quests and soon fixed the jewel.”

Harry nodded, “So has she told you about cars, microwaves, televisions, computers and such then?”

“She has,” Sesshomaru said with a small nod, “After the jewel had been fixed and I became friends with them it was found that Kagome and my brother were mates so Kagome chose to stay here while visiting her family in the future now and again. Now I’m taking what Kagome does and says and comparing it to your actions I am guessing that you’re from the same time, but not the same place.”

“Seems that you’ve got it all worked out,” Harry said with a smile, “Your right, from her actions, clothes and words I’d say that Kagome is from Japan, and I’m not.”

“Then where are you from? Tell me more about yourself my hopefully soon to be mate,” Sesshomaru said as he was careful to leave the ‘submissive’ part out not wanting to chance this new strength in their relationship yet, “Let me know about you and I will tell you everything about myself.”

***INPORTANT! I don’t know enough about Inuyasha to talk about Sesshomaru past and I’d properly forget parts of Harry’s so let’s just say they’ve already told each other about what happens in the anime/manga/books/movies and they have done all the emotional bit and then bonding as your reading this author note!***

“Well all I can say is that your one impressive magical kitsune,” Sesshomaru said as he gave a friendly lick on Harry’s cheek causing the kitsune to laugh.

“Down boy, bad doggie,” Harry said with a grin as Sesshomaru let out a low but playful growl.

“I am no lowly mutt,” Sesshomaru said, “I am Lord Sesshomaru of the western lands! Feel my power!”

The next thing Harry knew was that he was being tickled.

“Do you give?” Sesshomaru asked as he paused in his tickle attack.

“Never!” Harry cried out as he surprised both Sesshomaru and himself by jumping up and pushing himself on top of Sesshomaru so Sesshomaru was now lying on the ground with Harry lying on top of him, “I win!”

“For now my mate, for now,” Sesshomaru said with a playful, love sick grin.

Harry frowned a little, “You do know that this won’t mean you’ll be getting into my pants any time soon, right?”

“I wouldn’t have you any other way,” Sesshomaru said with a grin, “The wait is worth the prize, and in this case the waiting isn’t nearly long enough for this surprise.”

Harry blushed and got off of Sesshomaru getting a confused look crossed with an almost pout.

“Why did you move for?” Sesshomaru asked, “I thought we were comfortable.”

Harry let out a laugh, “Catch me if you can!”

With a grin, Sesshomaru forgot about how he was suppose to act and began to play with his mate.

“You little trickster,” Sesshomaru called as he chased Harry throughout the village with both of them smiling and laughing while not noticing the villagers smiles and approving looks.

“You idiot! I am a kitsune after all!” Harry called back as he ran backwards so he could face Sesshomaru as he ran.

Sesshomaru didn’t answer, but gave Harry a smile, “Looks like I’m not the only one with a tree fetish then.”

“What do you mean SesshomA!” Harry began, but failed to end as he crashed into a tree.

“That should teach you to look where you’re going,” Sesshomaru said with a chuckle as he helped his mate up and began to check Harry over for any injuries.

“Very funny,” Harry grumbled only to pause and give Sesshomaru a childish grin.

“What?” Sesshomaru asked carefully, he had seen that look on his mate plenty of times and each time meant trouble for him.

“Tag! Your it!” Harry said as he tapped Sesshomaru on the shoulder then began to run back to the house.

“You little monster,” Sesshomaru said as he began to run after Harry.

Sesshomaru ran through the rest of the village and got back to the house.

“Harry? Harry?” Sesshomaru called out only to get no answer in reply causing his mood to change from one of happiness to worry, “Harry this isn’t funny anymore, answer me! Now!”

“What’s the matter Sesshomaru? From what Shippo and Rin had told me you and Harry was having a great time.”

Sesshomaru looked up onto the house’s roof to find his brother eating cake mixture out of a bowl.

“Did Harry return to the house?” Sesshomaru asked, for once ignoring his brothers words.

“No, why?” Inuyasha asked seriously, his brother hadn’t responded to his teasing, this couldn’t be good, “What happened?”

“Harry’s missing,” Sesshomaru said with a growl, who had ever took his mate was going to pay.

“How do you know that Harry was kidnapped and hasn’t just gotten lost or held up or even took a different route then you or hiding from you?” Kagome asked as she came out of the house to take the bowl from Inuyasha.

The question was soon answered by piece of paper suddenly appearing in front of them and floating in midair.
