Growing Up
Life changes quickly
For the young at heart
Coming together the family
Then growing children depart
Sometimes we get taller
And as we age we sometimes shrink
Life moves so fast

Another fifty years had passed officially making Shippo an adult demon at age 200 although he was considered such for a long time before then due to his increased abilities as a fox demon. He mastered every move and had become quite the powerful young demon. Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Lord Lin, and Thoren could not be prouder of the boy.
Choukichi also grew to be quite the handsome demon himself. He still did not get over his crush of Shippo, but tried to move on.
Sven grew into quite the beauty and Shippo was in love with him. He still courted Fuu who was indeed a beauty herself and had also captured his heart. He was going to try to persuade the Tashio’s and his Uncle Lin to allow him to mate both. However, he would not be able to inquire upon that today since he was awaiting his cousin’s arrival. They had business to attend to and Shippo knew that duty came before personal desires.
“Choukichi, you are late.”
Shippo stated in a low toned voice. His long red hair lay straight down below his knees and his sharp green eyes took note of every movement. He wore fine silks of green and gold with a golden obi. His armor matched Sesshoumaru’s except there were two spaulders on each side that seemed more similar to the Great Touga, the Honorable Ruler with the exception they were covered in golden splendor. His armor was a sight to behold and made Shippo seem broader in chest although Shippo was already quite built with all of his training.
Choukichi bowed. His long deep auburn hair was pulled up into a top knot and although taller than Shippo he was nowhere near his cousin’s power. His deep green eyes seethed at being addressed so coldly by his cousin, but Shippo had changed a lot over the years.
“My apologies, I was with Totosai who is forging our swords cousin. You know how that old man takes his time on everything.”
Shippo nodded. He did not wish to waste time today.
“So, did you get them?”
At this Choukichi smiled. He handed two sais to Shippo that were as sharp as a razor looking rather plain in the silver with no jewels encrusted into the handles. However these were rather special.
“I am impressed. The Sais of the Sun, these were certainly worth that battle. I thank you for holding onto them for me and taking them to Totosai so that he could assess that they were indeed what we believed them to be. What did the old man say?”
Shippo placed the blades into the frogs attached to his obi on either side.
“He wanted to keep them longer and see if he couldn’t imbue them to power our swords. However there is no need to do such a thing when he already imbued and forged our swords with runes of fire and ice. It will be tricky enough to master those techniques since there are hundreds of combinations to such powers.”
Choukichi stated leaning back against the wall crossing his legs.
“I see.”
Sven came down the hallway and bowed to both Lords.
“My Lords, your presence is requested by Lord Sesshoumaru in the study.”
Shippo nodded and followed. Choukichi who hadn’t seen Sven in what seemed like ages licked his lips at the delicate creature before him. Sven was gorgeous. His long silvery hair swayed behind him as he walked and those large silvery eyes could melt anyone’s resolve.
“How are you doing Sven?”
Choukichi asked in a flirtatious tone as they walked towards the study which was at the end of this huge long hallway that seemed to go on forever.
“I am fine my Lord. I have been treated very well.”
Sven stated blushing as he looked up at Shippo who smirked and then pulled Sven into his embrace.
“Indeed, you have been my sweet.”
Shippo placed a few kisses onto Sven’s neck and then lips.
“Delicious……”
Sven blushed even more.
“My Lord….your duties…..”
Shippo nodded at Sven and smiled widely as he headed to the study.
Inside the study Sesshoumaru was going over land treaties and other documents. He looked like an old man with his reading spectacles.
“I see you have what you needed from Choukichi?”
Sesshoumaru stated firmly not looking up from his paperwork.
“Yes my Lord.”
Sesshoumaru kept reading and then sighed another form before acknowledging the two young men.
“Good. We have a new campaign. I will need you both for this. We have a pest control problem that has entered our lands calling themselves the Huns. Human vermin. I want you to rid my lands of them. Take as many men as you need and do not return until the job is done. That is all.”
Both young men bowed, but Shippo remained sending Sven and Choukichi from the room.
“My Lord, I have a request before I take my leave.”
Sesshoumaru looked up from his paper for a moment and nodded to Shippo to continue.
“I wish to know if I may mate both Fuu and Sven.”
Sesshoumaru’s lip curled into a slight grin.
“Taken a fancy to my servant have you?”
Shippo blushed.
“Indeed Sire, I have.”
Sesshoumaru nodded.
“I will inquire upon this with your Uncle Lin. If he sees no issue with this than I will approve the match. Now be on your way.”
Shippo smiled widely. He didn’t think his Uncle would have an issue.
“Thank you my Lord.”
With that Shippo practically ran into the door on the way out. After he left Sesshoumaru chuckled a bit at the young man. It was always as such when one was in love.
