That afternoon while the meetings where taking a break in the garden. Sesshomaru and Anaminé walked around talking as many of the other demons talked with friends or played with their children. It wasn’t long befor the quite peaceful garden was interrupted by the youngest daughter to the south confronting Sesshomaru about his company with Anaminé.

“What do you think your doing? You are suppose to be my mate, but yet you seek her company rather than mine!” The young girl said forcefully

“You are my mate Yet and untill the treaty is sighed and we are mated I have no loyalties to you and I may seek company in who ever I wish.” Sesshomaru said coldly

“What about you bedding her your scent is all over her! You rather pick a whore that your future mate.” The girl’s violet eyes where starting to change to a burgundy color out of rage.

Sesshomaru stepped forward and clutched his fist. Both their fathers had now come to their sides.

“You will apologize to Lady Anaminé right now you are a guest here and she is a part of this pack and in a high rank than you at this current time. So you will show her some respect.” Sesshomaru growled.

Anaminé placed a hand on Sesshomaru’s arm and stepped forward.

“Lord Taisho may I address Princess Mina” Anaminé asked staring at the girl

“You may.” Lord Taisho said curious as to what Anaminé was going to say and do all eyes where now on the group of people. Inu Yasha, Kouga and Hiten just off to the left, they knew Anaminé had a temper if tempted and she had a way of having this sweet kind voice when degrading someone.

“Tell me Princess are you threatened by me is that why you have confronted Sesshomaru about his choice in company?” Anaminé asked gently

“Like I would be threatened by you, you are nothing but a daughter of a dead general who has been taught nothing on how to be a lady.” Mina hissed.

“Oh I assure you, you have a great deal to feel threaten by me for the man you wish to be mated seeks me out when he wants a female companion and I also live with him and there are many things I can do that you can not.” Anaminé said keeping her tone soft and gentle as if she where talking to a young child.

Inu Yasha Hiten and Kouga couldn’t help but snicker.

“Oh and what’s that?” the princess hissed at her crossing her arms.
“I am stronger than you and know how to defend myself.” Anaminé said smoothly.

“Oh yeah like I can believe that you have almost no demonic powers. I have more demonic powers and instincts than you do.” Mina said rolling her eyes.

“Okay then I would like to propose something to you and only you so the only answer that matters is yours.” Anaminé said

“No she’s not…” Hiten said

“She is” Kouga smirked

“This is going to be the best gathering ever” Inu Yasha crossed his arms.

“What do you propose” Mina asked

“Here with in the dog demon pack and like many other demons when two men wanted a female demon they would fight for the right to mate. They would have a fair fight classy if you ask me. The one who won got the girl. Now I propose like long ago me and you fight with our own skills in a fair classy fight and the one who wins gets the right to mate with Sesshomaru in turn the treaty will be edited so the minor detail of the two of you being mated is changed. Sound fair enough?” Anaminé asked with a smirk

The princess smirked thinking she had the upper hand in this not did she only have her demonic powers but Anaminé was still limited to her actions with her knee.

“I will accept your proposal.” The Princess said

“Now Lord Taisho do you agree to let us both carry out this proposal?” Anaminé asked now taking her eyes of the girl

Taisho knew just what she was thinking this was a perfect way for the treaty to go on and Sesshomaru and Anaminé to get what they want and even with her limitations with her leg the Princess was forgetting who her father was.

“Yes I don’t see why not, keep up with old traditions I believe its fair don’t you think Lord Taiski?” Lord Taisho said looking at The Lord from the South.

“I don’t see what damage it could do” The Lord said he as well was thinking what his daughter was.

Anaminé nodded “Okay then we will meet at the training grounds in 30 minutes, we are aloud any fighting technique that we know, we will fight untill one is knocked out cold or is killed but we get to choose if we want to deal the fetal blow. Agreed?” Anaminé said

“Agreed I am ready right now but I can understand you wanting to say your good byes first. We will meet in a half hour.” Princess Mina said and walked away with her family.

Inu Yasha, Hiten, and Kouga came over where Sesshomaru and Lord Taisho stood with Anaminé as she smirked as she watched them walk away.

“Lord Taisho I have left my swords at home you wouldn’t happen to have any spares here for me to borrow would you.” Anaminé looked over to her Lord.

Inu Tiasho nodded “Yes I assume you don’t intend to actually kill her”

“No just care her a little” Anaminé said

“I cant believe you actually did that Anaminé” Hiten said

“its fair terms its approved and agreed to all who it concerns, the best part is they are letting my injury blind side them. But I must go change if someone could take the sword to the training ground I will be there once I have change.” Anaminé said

Inu Taisho nodded and went to go get the swords. Sesshomaru followed her to her room where she changed. He sat on her bed as she stood behind her changing screen.

“You are something else Anaminé” Sesshomaru smirked

“Admit it its my cocky attitude that draws you to me” Anaminé said as she changed into her Kenjutsu uniform something had told her to bring it. If anything she could practice in it while meetings went on.

“Shockingly that is a big part that draws me to you it intrigues me.” Sesshomaru said

Anaminé stepped out from behind the screen dressed.

“Well its time for me to take what is rightfully mine” Anaminé said with a smirk.

Sesshomaru left out a soft chuckle and they headed to the training grounds. Upon arriving she walked over to Inu Taisho and grabbed the two swords that he had brought. Lord Tanashi stood next to him.

“Good Luck Anaminé” he said softly

Anaminé nodded and walked into the dirt circle that was surrounded by demon lords and their generals along with their families.

“That isn’t fair she has weapons” Lord Taiski said

“I said any fighting technique did I not my lord” Anaminé asked looking at the Lord of the south but Addressing Lord Taisho

“Yes you did.” Lord Taisho said

“That puts my daughter at a disadvantage” Lord Taiski exclaimed

“It is not my fault that your daughter has had no formal training in martial arts, but in turn according to her she has more demonic power than I do and with my hurt knee I think its evenly matched” Anaminé said

“Oh yes I guess you are right” Lord Taiski said

Anaminé walked up to the princess it was Anaminé who took the first strike. The princess jumped back. She then lunged at Anaminé with her claws out starched. Anaminé simply turned maneuvering out of the way and now putting her behind the princess. The princess quickly turned around swiping her sharp claws at Anaminé side landing a hit causing a hiss to escape from Anaminé lips. She quickly jumped flipping over the princess making sure to land on her good knee. The exchange of the princess attacking and Anaminé avoiding the hits continued every once and a while a hit landed on Anaminé normally a side or a arm got deep gashes in them but nothing serious. Anaminé was just waiting for the right time. The princess was tiring and Anaminé was in pain and knew she couldn’t keep up for very long and then she saw it. The princess ran at her and she spun around grabbing the princess arm twisting it behind her and taking her sword and putting it to the girl’s throat. The Princess was now on her knees sweat running down her face and a petrified look on her face. Her fathers face was distorted by fear.

“I will be nice and spare your life, but I do believe that is match. I win.” Anaminé said and let the girl go and began to walk away.

Befor she knew what hit her she was on the ground and her swords being knocked from her hands as she is flipped over and hands wrapped around her throat cutting of her air way. Anaminé began to struggle with the girl.

“Guards! Remove the princess from Lady Anaminé!” Lord Taisho said.

Just as his command was given the girl was ripped from Anaminé show sat up coughing for air, she was helped up by Lord Tanashi. Lord Taisho looked at Lord Taiski.

“Take your family and remove yourself from my land. Your daughter knew the rules and the fight was over so I am taking his attack on Anaminé as a attack against my pack and land. There will be no treaty between the south and the west ever. I am being gracious and deciding not to take her life or yours. You will be escorted by my guards untill you have left my land is this understood!” Inu Taisho growled

The lord of the south clutched his fist he could no argue for if he did he knew it would be the death of him and his family. The guards escorted the lord and his family and generals to their quarters. Lord Taisho turned to Anaminé.

“Are you okay?” Inu Tiasho asked

“Yes nothing a nice soak in the hot springs and some bandages won’t cure.” Anaminé smiled.

Sesshomaru looked to Anaminé with a smile, she truly did him proud.

“I will help you sweet heart” Izayoi said with a smile taking the girl’s hand

“Sesshomaru I believe me and you need to have a talk” Inu Taisho said

Sesshomaru nodded.

It wasn’t long befor the training ground was once again deserted.

Anaminé soaked in the relaxing hot spring at first the hot water made her wounds sting but her body soon adjusted. Izayoi had brought her a towel and her cloths fro when she was done. Since the Lord of the south hadn’t left yet two guards where posted at the door of the hot spring bathroom.

Sesshomaru sat with his father in his fathers study.

“I don’t even have to ask if you are going to mate her, more or less I need to ask when.” Inu Taisho said

“That will depend” Sesshomaru said

“Depend on what” Inu Taisho said

“Weather she is pregnant or not.” Sesshomaru said

“If she is pregnant I will have to mate her as soon as possible, because other wise the child will not be able to be recognized as mine and the school would be able to fire me but if we are legally mated befor they find out then they can not say anything because of demon law she is a legal adult so our relationship and my job can not be affected. “ Sesshomaru said.

Inu Tiasho nodded.

“We will wait untill we know then to announce a mateing celebrations or anything like that.” Inu Taisho said
