My Pup
Sesshomaru regained control of his emotions and relaxed considerably "I will not give you my mate Inuyasha, she is with pup." he spoke coolly his stoic mask back in place.
"With pup?" Inuyasha whispered more to himself "What did you do to her?" he screamed pointing a accusing finger at Sesshomaru. "I will kill you, You bastard!" he screamed tensing his muscles to attack, he however did not. His brother's words froze him to his spot!
"I did nothing she did not ask for first Inuyasha, do not be foolish." he spoke calmly while raising a mocking brow. "She is with pup and I need to calm her down before her pups kills her. It is only something I as the pups sire can do! Move aside so I can take her to privacy I will not tell you again." he spoke in a deathly serous tone that implied he meant business.
Inuyasha could do nothing but stare dumbly at them and move aside allowing his bother to move with the girl.

Walking through the worn path Sesshomaru carried his unconscious mate. Once he was sure the area was secluded he sat down against a tree taking his mate in his lap. Placing a clawed hand on her stomach soft comforting growl sounded from his chest. The purpose of the growl was to calm his mate and pup. As he sat back he thought about what had caused her to faint 'She was stressed because of the fighting between the hanyou and me.' he thought her reaction could have been worse. 'She could have tried to protect Inuyasha.' he mused in distaste. 'Maybe she was conflicted and did not know how to react.' he knew she had loyalties to Inuyasha but she now had loyalties to him because he was her mate. That was probably what is was, she had just found out she was mated to him then the fight with his brother just threw her over the edge. He was brought out of his musing when he heard his mate's groan of distress.
Kagome was not feeling good, she felt like something was trying to claw their way out of her. It was strange, even though she was in pain there was a strange warmth and a comforting feeling. She did not know why she was feeling this way. She realized that she was being held in a warm embrace by a strong arm and she could smell the scent of her mate and hear him purring. She could feel his hand caressing her stomach. She did not know why he was acting this way. "What happen?" she asked groggily while turning her head to look at Sesshomaru.
"You fainted." he replied while still caressing her stomach. 'I need to inform her of the pup so things like this do not continue to happen.' he thought knowing full well the stubbornness of his mate. "You are with pup, Kagome." he said in a low soft tone.
"What?" she whispered in disbelief 'Why do things like this always happen to me? Now I am going to have a hanyou. OH NO!' she thought while remembering her mate's hatred for Inuyasha because he was hanyou. "Sesshomaru, the baby, it's going to be hanyou." she said in a low tone almost too afraid to hear the rejection she knew was coming.
"I know." he told her in a calm even tone that did not tell her anything of what he was thinking at the moment. He just sat there caressing her stomach none stop.
"I am sorry but I thought you hated hanyou." she asked in a slightly frightened tone. As she brought her hand to rest on his while it was rubbing her tummy. She looked down at their intertwined fingers and the contrast of colors between their skins was obvious. He held a light almost pale white skin while she was slightly tanned from all her travels on the road from the sun.
He sighed, he knew she was going to worry about that but really come on! Like he was such a monster he would hate his own pup. "I know the pup will be hanyou, but it will be my pup and I will care for him." he said with a tone that said he meant it.
"Him?" she asked while turning to look at him with a soft smile.
"Hn, it will be male. The next heir to the Western Lands." he stated in fatherly pride. He could already see his pup, it would not matter that he was hanyou because he would also be part miko. The other lords would know better than to challenge his pup; he would be the only youkai unsusceptible to purification which will prove to be very valuable someday for sure.
"Do you know you have the cutest look when you think about our pup?" she asked while looking his face. His cute look soon turned into a scowl.
"I will remember that." he stated irritably, he did not mean to show so much emotion but he could not help it. He was finally going to have an heir. Now he was certain that if he died one day then his pup instead of his idiot brother would have the Western Lands. That was something that made him immensely happy.
"Oh don't scowl at me! It was a compliment; anyway it was nice to see that you will not judge our children because they will be hanyou. I don't want you to hide yourself from me, how can I get to know you if you hide your true self from me all the time?" she asked while she reached to his cheek and caressed it gently. He really was a handsome youkai.
"Hn." was his response to her comment. It would take some getting used to, he was after all alone for nearly 900 years and one does not change over night. 'She would have to prove she is loyal to me before I will show any part of myself to her.' he thought while he leaned in to kiss her lips. Before their lips touched he spoke again "We have to return to the west. There is much to be done now. We will leave next light" he told her before his lips met hers.
When they parted from the kiss Kagome whispered an "Okay." then she leaned into his chest while her head rested on his shoulders.
