Chapter 13: Taking Control
A/N: Kagome makes the arrangements to transfer back home next semester and Sesshomaru finds out. Will he let her go or will he try and force her into staying with him? I still sadly do not own Inuyasha, but I am still borrowing him for my story! Enjoy!

The week had slowly but surely passed by and it was now Friday morning. Kagome didn’t have class that morning so she decided to head to the college counselor’s office on campus to make the arrangements to transfer back home to the local community college. Dressed in a pair of faded blue jeans and a white hoodie with the words Tokyo University written across the front in large red letters Kagome walked across the nearly empty parking lot. Glancing at the screen of her small silver cell phone she saw that it was nearly eight in the morning.

Kagome jogged up the steps to the main entrance of the college and grasped the cold metal handle of the glass door. Pulling the surprisingly heavy door open she walked inside the almost always freezing building. Making her way through the empty lobby she quickly went through the door that had administration written across it in black letters. Signing her name in on the clipboard Kagome took a seat on the small beige sofa and picked up a magazine. She didn’t have to wait long before an elderly woman with grayish hair and glasses called her into a smaller office.

Kagome took a seat in one of the black low backed chairs across from the old woman’s desk. “What can I do for you Miss Higurashi?”

“Oh well I needed to find out about transferring to the community college located in Sendai next semester.”

“And what reason do you have for wanting to leave our university Miss Higurashi?” She paused a moment before deciding not to say it was because of one of their psychotic teachers who just would not leave her alone.

“Well I just recently discovered that I’m pregnant and it would just be a lot easier for me to be back home with my mother.”

“Oh yes of course. Well in that case, let me get the paperwork for you to fill out. I’ll be right back Miss Higurashi.”

“Oh yes thank you so much.”

“You’re welcome.” The elderly woman stepped out of the small office leaving Kagome by herself. She turned in her chair so that she could glance over her shoulder when she heard a familiar baritone voice coming from out in the hallway.

Her blue gray eyes widened as she realized that the voice belonged to none other than her stalker Sesshomaru Nobunaga. Kagome quickly faced forward and looked down at her lap desperately hoping that he wouldn’t notice her. Much to her disappointment he and the dark haired woman he was speaking with stopped just outside the office where Kagome sat. Sesshomaru’s amber eyes shifted to the familiar thick mane of ebony tresses and a small grin worked it’s way across his handsome face. “Well hello there Kagome.”

Kagome turned slowly in her chair and stared blankly at Sesshomaru. Just as she was about to make him sorry he spoke to her the little old woman returned with the forms. “Here you are Miss Higurashi, these are the forms you need to fill out. Ah Mr. Nobunaga, is there something you needed?”

“What forms does Miss Higurashi need to fill out?”

“Oh well she’s going to be transferring back home to a community college for next semester.”

“Really? How interesting.” His cold amber pools stayed trained on her making her shiver involuntarily. Plastering an incredibly fake smile on her noticeably pale face she abruptly pushed herself out of the chair.

“Uh yes, thank you again for the forms, I’ll just fill them out at my apartment and then bring them back by later.”

“Yes of course Miss Higurashi.”

“Goodbye Kagome, nice seeing you again.” She tried to hide the scowl that crept it’s way onto her face. How dare he act like they were friend all all things!

“Um yes you too Mr. Nobunaga, goodbye!” Grabbing her purse she quickly slipped past Sesshomaru and darted back towards the main entrance of the college. Desperate to get as far away from Sesshomaru as possible Kagome began jogging down the steps and across the parking lot to get to her car faster.

‘Holy shit! That’s just great! Now Sesshomaru knows I’m planning on leaving and there’s only two more weeks left of the semester! He’s totally going to go psycho on me now!

Kagome drove home quicker than usual and locked herself inside the tiny apartment she shared with Inuyasha who was currently in class. She paced around their apartment like a caged animal panicking about the whole situation with Sesshomaru. She was so nervous about what Sesshomaru might do because he was really starting to become quite unstable when it came to her.

Desperately needing to talk to someone about what had happened Kagome dialed Kikyo’s number. On the second ring Kikyo answered. “Hey lover, what’s up?”

“It’s Sesshomaru!”

“What’s he done now honey? He didn’t hurt you did he?”

“No, well not yet anyway.”

“Wait Kagome, what’s going on?”

“I went to the counselor’s office and picked up the forms for transferring schools.”

“And guess who just happened to stroll by when I was there? I’ll give you three guesses.”

“You don’t need to, I know it has to be Sesshomaru that’s got you this freaked out.”

“Yeah you have no idea Kikyo! So now he knows I’m leaving!”

“Well there’s nothing he can do about it Kagome so don’t worry. Look, just call Inuyasha and tell him you need him to come home because you’re in serious need of a really good fuck.”

“Damn right it will, if I was there I would gladly help you out sweetheart. Now get off the phone and call Inuyasha so you can get laid!”

“Okay thanks Kikyo.”

“No problem. Just remember to give me your new address so we can still hook up from time to time if you know what I mean.”

“Yeah I will. Bye Kikyo.”

“Bye lover.” Hanging up the phone Kagome wasted no time in calling Inuyasha.

“Hey baby girl what’s up?”

“Well how about you come home and I’ll be waiting naked for you in our bed? How does that sound?”

“Where are you?”

“Driving.”
