Chapter Thirteen: Trap

Kyoko opened her eyes slowly. She was in a dimly lit room, and her wrists were tied behind her back. She could feel the Shikon Shard in her hand, pulsing energy.
She looked down at her outfit. She was confused, as she was still wearing her armor, but she was now wearing a pure black kimono, with a red obi.
‘Huh?’
She sniffed the air. Her eyes narrowed.
“Naraku.”
She heard locks being unlocked, and watched as Naraku walked in.
“Ah, so you are awake Lady Kyoko.”
She glared at him. “Naraku, release me!”
He laughed. “I do not believe you are in any position to give orders to me.” He then frowned. “Lady Kyoko, did you know that I can not touch your jewel shard unless you give it to me willingly—“
“Which I will never do!” She interrupted.
He nodded. “Kanna.”
Kanna walked in, carrying her mirror. Kyoko looked in the mirror.
It was them, coming to get her. Kagome was on Inuyasha’s back, and Sesshoumaru was running ahead next to them. She assumed everyone else was behind them.
‘They will be here soon.’
Then she realized the reason that Naraku was showing her this. The mirror was mainly focused on Kagome. Kyoko still had the shard in her hand.
“You wouldn’t!”
He ran a cut down Kyoko’s arm, and the cut appeared as well on Kagome’s arm. Kagome said something very panicked to Inuyasha, and he yelled at Sesshoumaru as he sped up.
“You see, Lady Kyoko, I will not let you let go of the shard. I have made sure of that already.” She realized it was true when she couldn’t let go of it. “Therefore, every amount of pain you feel, she will feel doubled, being a human. I will kill you eventually if you don’t agree to help me, but first I want to have a little fun.”
Her eyes widened as Kanna left and Naraku walked around her, looking at her. Her entire body.
“Oh, now I see why Inutaisho kept you. For a little while at least.”
She sat up. “Inutaisho loved me!”
He stopped walking, bending over towards her face. “Is that why he lied to you and went off with a human woman?”
He pushed her back down and continued walking. She looked away from him. He was right.
He then stopped in front of her, and in one fast movement, a cloth was tied around her mouth.
“Now, no more talking for you.”
She glared at him. She could not move, or so it seemed. But she was secretly using her poison claw to cut through the ropes around her wrists. For some reason, it was taking longer than it should.
‘What is wrong?’
He looked at her belt, which her knife was strapped to. He took the knife out and held it up, examining it. He looked down at her.
“If I am not mistaken, this is the knife you killed yourself with.” He said. She did not answer him.
He put his hand on her stomach. She flinched a little.
“This armor is weak. I can easily break it.”
In a painless punch to her stomach that left her frozen in shock, he shattered her armor.
“That is better.”
She glared at him, the ropes now broken. She lashed out and punched him in the face. Surprisingly, it did not hurt him at all. He held her wrist.
“What—but how?!” She gasped.
“I forgot to mention. In this particular room, all of your extra powers become mine. You only have your original powers, and they will barely hurt me.”
She lashed out at his face with her free hand, using her poisonous claws. Five burning gashes appeared, but they instantly healed. He punched her in the stomach, and she fell back down to the bed. Tentacle-like chains wrapped around her ankles and wrists loosely. Except now her wrists were above her head.
She struggled, trying to get free. He kneeled down to her, smirking.
“You cannot escape me. You have no way out.”
She looked at the chains and smirked.
“Wanna bet?”
He raised an eyebrow. She slipped her thin ankles and wrists through the chains and got up to run. She didn’t get very far, before she was pulled back by the obi of her kimono. She turned around and slapped him in the face.
She realized a second too late that it was a mistake.
Naraku pushed her roughly and pinned her to the ground. She was breathing heavily with fear as he ran the knife through her obi, and the Kimono fell open. He looked down her body and back up again.
She was going to fight back, but she felt a sharp pain in her stomach, and realized she could barely move. She looked down only to see a jewel shard embedded in her abdomen.
“What—“
“No more fighting.”
She then realized what his intent was as he shed his clothes, and ran the cold blade of the knife down her breasts and stomach.
“No—“ She whispered in fear.
He laughed and pushed himself inside her roughly and painfully (for her.), finding immense pleasure at her scream of pain.

Kagome…

Kagome clenched her hands in Inuyasha’s haori and buried her face in his back as she screamed in horrible pain.
Everyone stopped, looking very worried. Inuyasha put her sitting down against a tree and kneeled next to her. As they couldn’t see a wound they knew what was happening from the blood seeping from under her skirt.
She breathed heavily and tears fell from her eyes as she whimpered.
“He’s raping her!” She cried out, in a large amount of pain. That confirmed their suspicion.
Sesshoumaru growled horribly as his eyes turned red. “I will SLAUGHTER that bastard! How dare he!”
Kagome cried out in pain again and Inuyasha embraced her, picking her up. She cried into his shirt. “Inuyasha it hurts!”
He sighed and stroked her hair. ‘Damn Naraku!’ “Let’s go!”
They sped off slightly faster, reaching the castle soon. However they found it strange that no one was there to stop them.

Naraku…

“Let them find her. No one stop them. They will get a surprise when I meet them outside later…”

Inu and the others…

They looked down the three halls.
“I guess we have to split up.” Inuyasha said. Kagome was now fine, but still in pain, wincing every once in a while when she walked, refusing to be carried in Naraku’s castle.
Sesshoumaru went down the first hall, Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo in the second, and the third hall was the destination of Sango, Miroku, and Kirara.
As Sesshoumaru ran down the hall, he was sure he could smell that his mother was carried down this hall. He soon reached a room where he could smell her scent the strongest.
His nose cringed as he opened the door a crack. He could smell her blood, fear, and anger all mixed together. He slid the door open. His mother was there, laying on the ground, naked and bruised, and her lip was bleeding. He could see the bruises fading as he saw them, but still…
“Mother!” He ran to her, going to his knees. He shook her slightly. “Mother!”
She scrunched her eyes before opening them halfway. She looked up at him, her vision still blurry. “Inu—Inutaisho?”
He sighed sadly. “Mother it is me, Sesshoumaru.”
She smiled. He noticed that she had purplish shadows under her eyes.
‘Poison.’
She raised her hand to his face. “Sesshoumaru, I knew you would come.” Then she frowned. “But, you shouldn’t have. You have to leave. It’s a—“ She went unconscious again.
He picked up the black kimono off the ground and put it on her, taking the belt from her shattered armor and tying it around her waist to serve as an obi. He stood up with her in his arms. He looked down at her.
“I am sorry mother, I will never let this happen to you again.”
He walked out of the room, only to face everyone else.
Kagome wasn’t paying attention to her senses, so she didn’t notice the Jewel Shard in Kyoko’s stomach.
They went outside, nervous, as there were no interferences yet.
Kyoko suddenly twitched and opened her eyes.
“Sesshoumaru, you must go away from me.” She said simply. He looked down at her.
“Mother, I am not leaving you here.” He answered. However everyone stopped, as Kagome had gasped.
“She has a jewel shard in her stomach!” She said. Sesshoumaru looked at the glowing light from his mother’s abdomen.
“Mother, what—“
“Sesshoumaru you must leave me! It’s a—a—“
He put her down as her breathing became heavy.
“Mother!?”

Cliffhanger, I know. But I couldn’t resist. Anyway, the next one will be out either this week or next week. It depends.
