Summary: Part 139 of The Seven: Wanted Dead or Alive.
Prompt Summary: Jakotsu explains to the pastor what he was praying about.
After a long moment of silence passed between the two of them, in which Jakotsu could not help but smile at the idea that someone up there might still be listening to him after everything he had done, it was the pastor's turn to break the silence this time. “If you do not mind me asking, what was it you were praying for?”
For a moment, Jakotsu remained silent as he continued to watch the candles; carefully thinking of a way he could answer without giving anything away. The pastor seemed decent enough, but there was no way to know how someone would react when you told them you were attracted to your own gender. “The love of my life is on a dangerous journey right now and I can not be there. I was praying for a quick and safe return from the journey.”Nodding for a moment in understanding, as such a prayer was not that uncommon of a request in that town-in fact, it was usually that or for their crops to be nourished so they can grow and livestock to yield a nice price that they came in the church for-the pastor turned back toward him fully. “While I can not guarantee your prayer will be answer, it is not up to me, I can give you a suggestion on how to help the time pass faster while you wait.”
