Chapter 12

“Rin knows!” Rin said proudly, “Lord Sesshomaru-Sama’s biggest fear is fluffy bunny rabbits!”

“Fluffy bunny rabbits?” both Harry and Shippo asked at the same time in shock.

“Rin is right,” Rin said while bouncing up and down on the spot, “The last time Lord Sesshomaru-Sama saw a fluffy bunny rabbit it defeated him in a battle then humiliated him!”

“How the hell can a fluffy bunny rabbit defeat Uncle Sesshomaru?” Shippo asked in shock.

“Simple,” Rin said with a solomon nod of her head, “It used its cuteness to get Lord Sesshomaru-Sama to drop his guard and then it bit him on the leg! Just missing his mini- Lord Sesshomaru-Sama. Then Lord Sesshomaru-Sama ran around in a circle while trying to get the fully bunny rabbit offer with Jakan following behind and trying to help!”

The three of them shared an evil look.

***The same day but in the afternoon and with Sesshomaru***

“Harry?” Sesshomaru called out into the house as he entered through the front door.

“Sesshomaru? Is that you?” Kagome’s voice came from the kitchen which Sesshomaru followed.

“Miko where is Harry?” Sesshomaru asked as he watched his brother’s mate put away a few things and tidy up.

Kagome paused and turned to look at Sesshomaru, “He was dragged out of here this morning by Shippo and Rin who was on a sugar high. If you want Harry then my best guess would be to find a large tree that’s perfect for having a nap under, after all that sugar they’ve had.”

Sesshomaru allowed his features to soften, “Harry will make a good mother one day.”

“Yeah he would, too bad he can’t get pregnant and all,” Kagome said as she placed the last thing away and came to stand by Sesshomaru.

“What are you talking about? Harry is a submissive kitsune and all submissive no matter what sex or type of demon can get pregnant and have children,” Sesshomaru said as he gave Kagome a confused look, “It is common knowledge Miko.”

“Well sorry, but in my time only females can get pregnant,” Kagome said in a huff as she turned and headed back towards the bedroom where her mate was waiting with a container full of cream.

“Miko, whatever you and my brother are doing in your room I want it done and out of your system before I come back with the children and Harry,” Sesshomaru warned as he turned around and exited the house.

“Hey love, got the cream?” Inuyasha asked as he came into the kitchen with a bowl, “I got the cake mixture right here, good idea with using the cream to for that extra taste…what’s the matter Kagome?”

Kagome gave a sigh in the direction that Sesshomaru had disappeared, “Nothing, it seems your brother is getting more and more perverted the longer Harry refuse to mate with him.”

“He thought the cream was to be licked off of our bodies huh?” a chuckling Inuyasha asked as he placed the cake mixture down, “Don’t worry about it, Sesshomaru is just getting close to his heat and with his mate around it might make him act a bit like Kouga or our favourite perverted monk.”

“Oh well at least Sesshomaru will get what’s coming to him with Harry and the children’s plotting,” Kagome said as they continued to make their cake.

***Outside of the house with Sesshomaru***

Sesshomaru stepped out of the house and looked around, all of the trees seemed to be either too small or in use for some sort of building or part of the village in a way meaning that none of them was suitable for taking a nap under.

With a frown Sesshomaru continued to look for the perfect tree to take a nap under while walking around the village.

“That’s the perfect one,” Sesshomaru said to himself as he spotted a giant tree in the centre of the village which would mean he was only a few seconds walk away from instead of a few minutes with his yokai speed.

Soon enough Sesshomaru got to the tree only to stop and freeze in place.

“We meet again my greatest rival,” Sesshomaru said with a glare as he looked at the cute little fluffy bunny that was happily sitting under the tree.

Or it was until it spotted Sesshomaru, then the look on its face changed into an evil sharp and pointy teeth smile.

“I will not let you win this time,” Sesshomaru said as he got into a battle stance and drew the sword made from his father’s fang.

The battle started, white fluffy fur flew everywhere, the sounds of a sword were heard hitting trees and a high pitched voice yelling: ‘carrot attack’.

***Meanwhile with Harry, Rin and Shippo a few minutes away from where Sesshomaru and the fluffy bunny is***

“So that’s the plan?” Harry asked as they moved away from a piece of paper that had a lot of writing and diagrams on it.

Both Rin and Shippo nodded together, “Yeap.”

“When Lord Sesshomaru-Sama see’s this then he’ll be very scared!” Rin said as she looked over the pictures of flowers and fluffy bunnies.

“It’s going to be great!” Shippo said happily, his kitsune trickster nature coming out.

Before Harry could reply a yell was heard not far away that was soon followed by the sound of someone being thrown into a tree and going through more trees.

The group soon found out who was going through the trees when Sesshomaru came to a stop besides them, the tree they were under stopping him from going any father.

“Lord Sesshomaru-Sama!” Rin cried out in shock only to be quickly pulled back to safety within the arms of Harry.

A fluffy bunny came towards Sesshomaru fastly and began to attack the dog demon with a carrot that seemed to be acting as a sword.

“Errr this isn’t part of our prank,” Shippo said with a feeling of shock and amazement as he watched the Lord of the western lands fight a fluffy bunny while looking petrified, “Ours was to have Sesshomaru dressed up in a fluffy bunny outfit with flowers all over him.”

“Don’t worry, I know who it is,” Harry said with a sigh as he placed Rin down on the ground next to Shippo, “You two stay together and in a safe spot okay?”

Getting both Rin’s and Shippp’s nod of agreement Harry turned and began to make his way to the battle.

“Sir McFluffyButt I have told you once already, I do not want to be your mate,” Harry called out as he gave a Severus Snape glare at the fluffy bunny who had paused in his fight with Sesshomaru.

“You will be!” the bunny, now known as Sir McFluffyButt cried as he pointed his sword carrot at the pale and sweating Sesshomaru, “Once I kill your mate you will be my mate!”

“Enough,” Harry growled out making both fighters gulp in fear.

They watched as Harry marched forward, took the sword carrot from Sir McFluffyButt and began to spin him around.

“I will not be your mate, now or ever,” Harry yelled angrily then he let go of Sir McFluffyButt ears and watched as Sir McFluffyButt flew faraway and far away from the village borders. A few minutes later the sound of Sir McFluffyButt body going into a lake was heard.

With a sigh Harry turned to the others and walked towards Sesshomaru who was now sitting on the ground covered in small scratches and breathing heavily.

“You alright,” Harry asked worriedly, even if he did put Sesshomaru through hell and back he’d never do anything to harm the demon lord, through Harry wouldn’t admit it out loud, but he had a huge crush on the demon lord which was only being helped along by them being mates.

“This Sesshomaru is fine,” Sesshomaru said as he tried to pull himself together after fighting his worse fear.

Harry frowned as he watched what was supposed to be one of the strongest yokai’s around act like this, through he couldn’t help, but feel privileged that such a strong yokai would let his guard down around him.

“Come here,” Harry said with a sigh.

Looking up in surprise at his mate soft tone Sesshomaru saw soft and loving eyes looking down at him.

‘Maybe all of this chaos is getting us closer’ Sesshomaru thought as he allowed Harry to pull him into a hug.

“Friends at the least?” Harry asked softly as he placed his forehead on Sesshomaru forehead meaning they were looking into each other’s eyes.

Harry gave a sound of surprise as he found himself being placed in Sesshomaru’s lap and the hug continued.

“I think we better go back to Mum and Dad,” Shippo said as he dragged a willing Rin back to the house, “We’ll be back at your house Harry.”

Neither of them noticed the two children leave through as they were to lost in each other.

“This is for you,” Sesshomaru said as he pulled out the fang from the giant snake he had battled earlier and placed it into Harry’s open hand, “The miko, Sakai, helped me so-“

Sesshomaru’s eyes widened as he found Harry’s lips upon his own. Sensing Harry’s thoughts through the kiss Sesshomaru suddenly became alive and they battled for dominance and Sesshomaru won.

“What was that all about through I’m not complaining,” Sesshomaru asked as Harry continued to sit in his lap and look at the fang.

“The fang, it reminds me of home,” Harry said with a soft sigh as he found himself relaxing in Sesshomaru lap, “Why am I feeling like this?”

“Feeling like what?” Sesshomaru asked, enjoying the feeling of being whole and having his mate in his arms.

“I should hate you, when you first came to humkai village and told me about us being mates and Kagome and Inuyasha going to be my parents while Shippo and Rin would be my younger siblings I was determine to hate you, I mean I’ve had enough of people telling me what to do and everything but now, after that battle with you and Sir McFluffyButt I don’t know what I feel like,” Harry said with a sigh.

“Then stop listening to your head and start listening to your heart,” Sesshomaru said as he remembered the advice his mother use to give him.

Taking Sesshomaru’s advice Harry closed his eyes and all was silent for a few mintues until Harry opened his eyes.

“You know what Sesshomaru?” Harry asked getting a ‘hmmm’ from Sesshomaru, “I think…”
