The months went by fast for the Tashio’s after taking on Shippo and raising children. 11 months after their mating Thoren had two colts with thick fur that looked like the Unicorn except they were shorter and stockier then his kind calling the two foals ‘ponies’ since they were born without horns until later in life.

The male pony was named Tyler and the female Melody. They were both beautiful and unfortunately had to be cut free of poor Thoren by Sesshoumaru. The hooves and long legs were hardest, but after they were born no parents could be prouder.

Inuyasha was under the scroll spell for a good 100 years this time. Thoren was also placed under this spell after the babies were born. There was no need to rush such things.

“Inuyasha you were right about how annoying it is to have children and then watch others raise them for you.”

Thoren stated firmly dressed as Inuyasha was as a Lady of the Manor. Of course Kouga in seeing this decided he didn’t really want to be mated to Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. He refused to lower himself to be anything except male so he gladly went back to Ayame.

“Ya, well just wait another hundred years. He will get you pregnant again to do the same shit and then mark you since he is a possessive bastard. It is a good life though so no complaints.”

Inuyasha stated. He would never sire his own children with Thoren. All children would be sired by the Alpha so he was kind of bummed out.

“Well shall we adjourn to the training halls Thoren? Shippo is sparing with Sesshoumaru and it would be much more interesting than doing more embroidery. I think I have done more than necessary for my boys. I swear Akinori, Arashi, Benjirou, and Daichi grow too damn fast.”

The two adjourned to see what their mate and ward was up to.

Shippo was busy trying to dodge the attacks of the light whip and using his fox fire as a shield finally when he was able to pull the power.

“Shippo you have forgotten the basics or have not been taught them. You are too busy improving adult moves, which is admirable but these ones will save your life. Now do it again.”

Shippo was being watched by Lord Lin, his cousin Choukichi, and now by the two Ladies of the Manor. He did not like mistakes so he would not fail again. Sesshoumaru was a hard trainer, but a patient man. If he failed he would be doing kitchen duty again and tonight he did not wish to suffer that humiliation. It was either that or sleep in the barracks with the soldiers that tried to get him drunk on sake so they could go take him to the brothel house since he was so damn good looking that he made the women there go ga ga all over him which apparently helped get the soldiers a good deal on their night out. Shippo just couldn’t take another night of that crap especially when he didn’t want any of those women there. All he wanted to do was train, talk to Sven, make-out with Sven, and bullshit with his cousin Choukichi about stupid shit. Usually it was about experimenting and how far a man was allowed to go since he was officially called a man since he learned how to fight as a man.

Once again Shippo pulled the power out to create a shield, this time he did it perfectly and Sesshoumaru’s whip continued to hit outside of the fox fire itself.

“Good.”

Sesshoumaru stated nodding at Shippo. Shippo bowed feeling rather giddy and proud of himself.

“Next time we will work on simple aiming so you never miss your targets.”

Shippo knew that would be difficult, but Sesshoumaru stated he had time to work on this.

Choukichi patted his cousin on the back as the adults wandered away.

“You did great. I don’t think I could have stood up to the Inu No Tashio and been in one piece when he was done, but you avoided the whip and did exceptionally well.”

Shippo sighed.

“He was being easy on me because we were training. If he was purposely trying to hurt me I would be dead. This is the simple training that you usually learn as a kid. I know a lot of tricks, but this training will help me utilize my fox fire more productively.”

Choukichi snorted.

“You sound more like Lord Sesshoumaru now. Stop talking like him and talk normal for once in your life.”

Shippo looked at Choukichi lifting one eyebrow.

“Choukichi I am considered a man now, do you not think I should start acting like one?”

Sven almost laughed at that, but chose to keep his mouth shut as Shippo turned and started walking away only to stop as Choukichi stood with his mouth wide open.

“Are you coming or not?”

Shippo stated firmly.

“He has been ruined.”

Choukichi stated frowning as he followed Shippo with Sven snickering a bit behind them both.

Shippo led them to his quarters where he sat down only to have Sven immediately sit at his feet. It was as though the two were mated.

“What is going on Shippo?”

Shippo looked at Choukichi as though nothing was unusual.

“Nothing. Why do you ask?”

Sven remained seated at Shippo’s feet leaning his head back against Shippo’s knee.

“You look like you already chose your second mate. Did you just forget about me?”

Choukichi stated angrily.

“No. Sesshoumaru has two mates. He is Alpha. Do you wish to be my beta? I am an Alpha Choukichi and so are you. I won’t back down will you? Sven will and has nothing to lose from it. He indeed has everything to gain.”

Shippo stated softly as he ran his fingers over Sven’s hair. Choukichi frowned and then nodded. He understood, still he didn’t have to like it.

“You have changed so much. I don’t like it. I understand though.”

Choukichi tried to find more to say, but he couldn’t. Shippo watched him leave, but didn’t bother to get up to follow. It was better that way.
