Chapter XII
A/N: Sorry for the cliffhanger. Reason for it, I was going to do two updates today anyways.
Chapter 12:
Their lips met, his masculine and slightly cold lips coming into contact with her luscious and warm lips.
For Kagome, the moment their lips touched, a spark of electricity raced from her brain down her spine and into her toes. The passion within her was ignited and her entire body felt like it was on fire. She reached up with her hands and wrapped them around Sesshomaru's head, not willing to let go of this wondrous feeling. Sure, she may have kissed Inuyasha on at least one occassion, but that was a kiss to restore his human soul, not one necessarily of love like this one was.
For Sesshomaru, he felt a longing within him that he had never felt before. His eyes widened before they closed, as he savoured the emotions coursing through his body. His emotions, normally cold and world weary, transformed into love and, like Kagome, passion. He could feel the heat gathering in his lower stomach as his manhood came to life with longing for this female.
Their air supply was bound to run out sooner or later. As it was, Kagome was the one who broke the kiss, gasping for air.
Sesshomaru, however, was not done. As soon as he thought Kagome had regained enough air, he smashes his lips back into her's, and added his tongue this time as well, exploring her mouth and her own tongue.
At that moment, Miroku and Sango rounded the corner, having gone to look for Kagome to discuss her newly found powers. Both of them blushed immensly when they accidentally stumbled onto the pair. They tried to duck back around the corner, but it was too late.
Sesshomaru glanced their way briefly before growling, not wanting to break the kiss. But Kagome, hearing his growl and seeing what he was looking at, flushed red before pushing away from him, not wanting to engage in any 'gross' acts before her friends.
Sesshomaru sighed, before shooting a sharp look at Kagome, one that left no doubts as to what his intentions were.
"Miko, come to my castle tonight for dinner. We will....discuss...your remaining powers." said Sesshomaru in a husky voice, before turning his attention away from her and to the nosy tajiya and monk.
"This had better be good.." said Sesshomaru in a now very cold and threatening voice.
"Actually, lord Sesshomaru, it was Kagome that we wanted to talk to." replied Sango in a sheepish voice.
*Sigh*. "Very well then. I will be tending to my duties should you need me." said Sesshomaru, before walking away.

"So, tell me Kagome, what was it like to kiss Sesshomaru?" asked Miroku with a big grin plastered on his face.
"Miroku!" complained Kagome. Her complaint fell on deaf ears as Sango knocked the monk out with her boomerang.
"Despite his perverted mind, he does have a point. I am dying to know how it was to kiss the icicle prince." inquired Sango, looking at Kagome in a giddy fashion.
"Oh very well. He's not that bad of a kisser, to put it honestly." recounted Kagome of their special moment together.
"Do you think he's the one?" asked Sango, her excitment growing.
"If I had any doubts before, they were blown away by that kiss. Sesshomaru is definitly the man I would want to spend the rest of my days with." declared Kagome happily, practically skipping on her toes.
"Congratulations!" exclaimed Sango as she hugged her adopted sister, and even Miroku recovered to add in the hugging.
But instead of hugging them as he should have, he merely grabbed one of every buttcheek. A pair of fists collided with his head, sending the monk flying with a loud yell into the wall of the castle.
"Ooh, I hope I didn't hit him too hard." said Kagome a little worriedly, forgetting her newfound strength.
"Nah, he'll be fine." replied Sango with a dry voice.
"Well, I need to go get ready. After all, I do have a dinner date with Sesshomaru." said Kagome. She gave Sango one more hug, then took off skipping towards her hutt.
Sango looked off after her for a little while, being more happy now then she was in a long time, before turning around and going to retrieve the monk from the section of shattered wall....
