Chapter 12:

A/N: A lot of bitchiness takes place in this chapter.

Inutaisha was being very, very trustworthy with Kagoru. The only people she happened to trust him with is her own group and Inuyasha's group. She didn't trust him with Kimi. In fact the two girls had not talked to eachother since the incident. Instead Kimi tried to get him away. She didn't know what Kimi was trying to pull but she didn't intend for him to be out of her sight.

She sighed then gently nuzzled her partner's neck from behind. "Inutaisha."

"Yes." She said while running her fingers through his hair.

"Do you mind if I talk with Kimi for a while?"

She growled softly in his ear. "I'll give you twenty minutes."

"I might need a little longer." She growled again. "Inutaisha, everyone knows I am your mate. I belong to you and there is nothing that will take that away."

She nuzzled his neck again, "Fine. I will come to get you in a while though."

"Right. Thanks!" He said then turned around hugged her.

"Mutt finally let you go. I don't see why you are with her."

"Look Kimi. I don't appreciate calling my mate a mutt."

"Well she is. She is half-breed."

"It is that attitude that gets you in trouble."

"What are you so protective of her for?"

"She is my mate Kimi. It's high time you realize that."

"Kagoru, you can't be serious."

"I am her mate. I'm tired of you two fighting like dogs over me. She shouldn't have to fight with you Kimi. If all you can see is her heritage then that is what makes you vastly different from her. What if I mated with you? Would you have seen our children as mutts?"

"Well..no."

"Then you need to lay off of Inutaisha. She has every right in the world to me."

"Why does she? Just because she got first dibs on you?"

"First dibs. What am I, property?"

"Thats not what I meant."

"Oh I got the idea." He said then turned from her and began to walk back.

"Wait Kagoru. I didn't mean it like that."

"Don't bother."

She pushed him against a nearby tree. "Kagoru, I didn't mean it."

"Don't bother." He repeated.

"That mutt doesn't deserve you." She then leaned in and attempted to kiss him.

Before she could she felt someone throw her backwards. "What part of 'he's mine' do you not get?"

"Inutaisha!" Kagoru shouted as she pulled him against her.

"Kagoru stay out of this. I've had it with her. I let you handle it but now it is my turn." She kissed his lips quickly, her fangs rubbing against his upper lip. "Kimi he isn't my property. He is my mate and you will respect that or we are going to fight."

"You don't deserve him." She snarled at Inutaisha.

"You have no right treating him like he is some piece of property to obtain." Inutaisha snarled back. Her eyes gleamed red with anger.

"I've never treated Kagoru like that."

"Yeah right. You call him your man all the time. Humans aren't property you know."

Kagoru once again found himself between two snarling girl demons. "Inutaisha. Don't fight."

"No. I have to. If wolfie here won't back off then it is time I showed her why she needs to."

"Oh shut up mutt!"

Inutaisha growled, "Now it's on."

Inuyasha watched for any signs of Inutaisha's return. She said she would only be ten minutes at most. "I'm going to get her."

"Why? Maybe she and Kagoru are at it again." Mirra asked.

"I don't think so. She said she was going to sit and talk about our next move when she brought Kagoru back."

Mirra suddenly stood up. "Did you see that?"

"What?"

"That red light. It only happens when...Uhoh. Sanga!"

Sanga jumped up quickly. "She's transformed hasn't she?"

"I knew it would be a matter of time. Oh Kami its powerful."

"Even Tetsuseiga, I doubt, could calm her demon power when its that high."

"Then we need to go. Lets hurry!" Inuyasha said as he bounded forward.

Inuyasha found his counterpart before Kimi and her could go at it. "Inutaisha no."

She turned around to face him. "Stay out of this Inuyasha." She snarled angrily.

"I know you are angry."

"You have no idea."

"Lets not get angry. Calm down." She snarled angrily again. "I know you don't want to. In fact you have every right to rip Kimi into pieces."

"Then why won't you let me?!"

"Because Kagoru wouldn't want it."

She turned her head back towards Kagoru and saw his face. He looked almost frightened of her. She growled. "Fine. Come Kagoru, we need to talk." She then reached forward and grasped his hand then led him off further in the forest.

When Inutaisha found a suitable spot she stopped then turned around to face her mate. "Listen and listen well. I have been too kind with Kimi. You and her are not, I repeat, not ever to be together again."

"But Inutaisha."

"No Kagoru! No!" She sighed deeply. "You are my mate and I will exercise my right over you."

He became frightened suddenly. "Inutaisha please. I'm sorry."

"Sorry? What do you have to be sorry about?"

"Upsetting you."

"Kagoru, I would do anything for you. I can and will give you pleasure. I will keep you safe. I will have a family with you. There is no stopping it unless you ask me to."

"I don't want you to stop." He blushed slightly.

She smiled then kissed his forehead. "Good. Lets go back."

Kagoru pulled at her arm. "I don't want to."

Inutaisha smiled then said, "Lets stay then."

A/N: Crappy ending for the chapter but next chapter will be good. More mating and Naraka is finally introduced.
