The Truth That Is Reiha
Forever May Never Come
Chapter Thirteen
The Truth That Is Reiha
After the coffee Kagome and the girls left the boys alone and went to get their things packed, they stopped at Reiha’s place first. She lived in a hotel to tell the truth. She owned the whole thing and the penthouse was the place she called home. She had inherited it from her father after he was murdered in Paris two years ago. He had been shot in the head and there was never a hope of saving him. Reiha’s mother had also been murdered, but at a different time. She was stabbed to death in her hotel room while staying in London. It was a real fact that being famous brought the type of attention you would rather avoid. Her father was a rich son-of-a-bitch and owned several high class hotels and had twelve houses around the globe. Reiha’s mother was a famous actress/model; her death was extremely hard on her. The real horror of Reiha’s life was neither of their deaths though. It was the death of her little brother and sister. They were both in a limo headed to the airport when a bomb went off, that was worse for her because she felt responsible for it.
So now she was alone and didn’t like people to get close to her. She tried her hardest to keep a low profile to keep herself alive longer. So far she knew that there was a mob family out to get her. She never understood it till five months ago when she was contacted by her uncle, Mr. Valentino. That was the only name she knew him by. He had contacted her to tell her some more about her parents and siblings deaths. The truth of the matter shocked her more than anything else could. Her beloved uncle Valentino was the head of the family and the main guy of the Italian mob. Hell he was the Italian mob and everyone knew it, but they also knew who his family was. For the past two years he had been protecting Reiha from getting hurt. She was the owner of her fathers businesses and homes; homes that Valentino used to store his illegal activities. Reiha was told that faithful day that Valentino was dyeing from a disease that held no known cure. She was also informed that she would be his only heir to his fortune and the next in line to take over his throne in the Italian mob. Let’s just say she wasn’t happy about it, but she would do what her uncle asked for he was her only remaining family.
Reiha came off as a gentle without a mean bone in her body, but she couldn’t wait to get her hands on the assholes that took her family from her. Pay back as they say is a bitch and this bitch was going to get them good. At night she practiced with her master so she would be able to beat the shit out of the men that murdered her family. Valentino showed her pictures of the men responsible. One of those men was the leader of the Japanese mob and her grandfather, Jeko. The bastard murdered his own beloved daughter and grandchildren. Reiha couldn’t understand why someone would do that to their own family, but she was determined to find out why from the man that was responsible for her families downfall.
They arrived at the top of the hotel and stepped out of the elevator and found themselves in a long hallway with several glass sliding doors between the penthouse door and the elevator. Kagome raised her eyebrow as did Aria, both of which had never been there before.
Reiha stepped up to the first glass door and a screen showed up on the glass.
“Body recognition required beyond this point. Scan to commence immediately.” a female voice said to them.
Kagome watched as a red beam glided from her head to her toes scanning her whole body as well as the others. Reiha didn’t even flinch.
“Process complete please enter.” the voice said again as the doors opened up and they stepped through.
As soon as they stepped inside Kagome felt nervous as the door closed right behind them inclosing them in a tight space.
“Blood recognition required beyond this point. Hold still please, all needles used will be thrown away and are completely sterilized for your protection. We are not responsible for anything that may happen to you.” said a male voice.
A drawer opened up in the wall and it held three packaged needles as well as everything needed to take blood. Reiha rolled her eyes and grabbed a needle sticking herself as soon as she was able to get the wrapper off. Kagome flinched at the process and wondered what the hell was going on.
Kagome did the same as did Aria but they were not happy about it at all. Both of them had no idea about Reiha’s parents’ and siblings or really anything about her family. All they knew was that her family was dead. They put the needles in the trash and put the glass bottles of their blood in the drawer. It closed immediately and they stood there looking like idiots for a minute while the machine scanned their blood through the computers inside.
“You may proceed inside this door.” the male voice said.
The doors opened and they walked through them. The door shut right after they go inside between one more door. This was the last glass door between them and the penthouse. Everyone seemed a little ticked off by this time.
“Palm scan required beyond this point. Please touch the glass.” a female voice said.
All of them pressed their hands to the glass and immediately a scan took place.
“Thank you for your patience. You may proceed pass this point.” the female voice said.
They once again crossed over and stood in front of the penthouse door and the glass door shut behind them.
“Finally!” Kagome said as she slumped against the door.
“Voice recognitions required to get passed this point.” a male voice said.
“Ahh Kagome screamed in surprise at the door as she jerked herself upright and stared at it as if it would grow fangs and eat her at any moment.
“Reiha,” Reiha said.
“Aria,” Aria said unsure about it.
“Kagome,” Kagome said.
“Thank you. Please come in and enjoy your stay.” the male voice said.
The door didn’t open, as Reiha used a key that was around her neck to open the door. Surprisingly it was one of those locket keys and she kept it in a secret compartment in the locket that she moved from around her neck that nobody till now saw. It shocked Kagome and Aria like nothing else could have.
As they walked in their jaws dropped to the floor in shock. Damn she had it made in this life. Everything was the finest they’ve ever seen it. The couches were down right beautiful with their white leather. The carpet was black which was another surprise. There was a huge, gigantic big screen tv with every game system imaginable next to it. There was a full wall covered from top to bottom in movies and games alone. There was art covering the walls and even stands holding beautiful flowers with blue rocks at the bottom that only the rich and famous ever seemed to actually have.
To say the least they were shocked. The kitchen was up to date in everything. It was huge with an island and everything. The cabinets were cherry wood and glass. The dishes were white and black and sparkled. They really sparkled. The counter top was black granite with silver chips in it or something fancy for sure. Everything was spot-less too. The dinning room had a huge table that seemed to be able to fit at least twenty people. It was cherry wood to match the kitchen Kagome believed. There was a china hutch in there that held a whole china set that was off-white with light pink on the sides, Kagome recognized it as being Reiha's mother’s china that she received the day she married her husband from her father.
Reiha stood staring at them with amusement as they went from room to room admiring her home. They slid open the door to her bedroom and almost had a heart attack. There was a king sized bed on a platform and stairs on all sides to get up to it. Everything was beautiful and the bed coverings were in the lightest shade of green ever imagined. There were plants and flowers all over the place. It looked like a fairytale.
They opened another door and found the bathroom and it was huge!!! A gigantic sunken bathtub was in the middle with stairs that went down into it. You could most likely swim in the damn thing. There were even chairs in the bathroom, as well as a table. There were sinks and a glass shower in the corner that had gold trim in it. It was one of those fancy showers that had two shower heads at opposite sides of it. There was a make up stand with mirror inside of the bathroom as well.
They found the huge walk-in closet through there as well and by the time they finished looking at all of her clothes and shoes that they didn’t even know she had, they found a second door and realized it opened up to her bedroom. There was a balcony that held a table and chairs and a swinging bench. There were flowers surrounding the whole thing so that you couldn’t see very well out of it. Vines came up and you barely got any sunlight out of it. It was like walking through a garden and they realized that was exactly what it was made into. There was a water fountain in the middle that had a stature of a man, woman, and three children in it, everyone but one child had angel wings on their back. It was kind of heart breaking to see the child left out like that and Kagome wondered why it was like that.
“Reiha why is only one child without angel wings?” Kagome asked.
Reiha sat down on the swing and stared at the fountain that took most of the wall. “I had it made after my family’s deaths. It reflects them. The child without wings is me obviously.” she said in a quiet voice.
“Well let’s get you packed, as I got the feeling it might take a long time to decide from the huge selection you have.” Aria said with excitement.
The three made their way to Reiha’s closet, but not before she closed the door after making sure everything was as it should be. Nobody noticed this of course as Kagome and Aria were concentrated on getting to her closet.
She pulled out her luggage bags and opened them up.
They looked through her closet and sighed in defeat when they couldn’t make up their minds.
“How about this white dress?” Kagome asked holding up a white flowing gown.
“Yes that would look perfect.” Aria chimed in.
Reiha smiled as she put it in the dress holder waiting for more to add. It took two hours before they finished up with all her clothes. They had eight casual dresses and two fancy dresses, ten pairs of jeans, twenty different tops, eight skirts, and about ten different pairs of shoes. They all fit perfectly in the bags. Reiha surprised them with a shoe bag that was designed to hold a lot of shoes without getting them all messed up.
“Now onto Aria’s house!” Kagome said with more enthusiasm.
They helped Reiha get her luggage through the glass doors after locking up and making sure they had jewelry and everything she would need. When they got off the elevator there was a man waiting for them to take the bags.
“Nice,” Aria said as she admired the man with a sexy ass.
The other two looked at her and burst out in laughter as they got into the car that was waiting for them.
