Love through the ages

“You filthy bitch! I‘ll kill you for all you have done to InuYasha!” Taijina screeched as she saw Kikyo at the palace gates. Rushing towards her in an enraged state, Sesshomaru quickly grabbed her left arm. Struggling against his grip, she gave a death glare to Kikyo. “Let me go!”

“Silence,” Sesshomaru ordered her, as she stilled against his grip. He stared at the dead Miko. “You dare taint my lands with your presents.”

“I have come for what belongs to me,” Kikyo replied, as her soul collectors waited patiently by her side.

“InuYasha does not and will never belong to you,” Taijina growled, still being held back by Sesshomaru. “He has been since his birth part of the Western Inu Pack and is under Lord Sesshomaru’s protection. In simpler words for you to understand, he belongs to Lord Sesshomaru not you. Now do us a favor and remove your stinking filthy clay body out of the Western territory, you are making my nose burn with your fowl stench.”

“I should purify you for your insolence,” Kikyo fumed, annoyed that this female would dare to stand in her way.

“One problem,” Taijina smirked. “You would have to be pure for your powers to work you demon whore. I can still smell Naraku’s scent on you.”

“I know not of what you speak of,” Kikyo quickly shouted out at her accusation.

“Please do not think me a fool,” Taijina purred, an evil grin coming to her lips. “I know you slept with Naraku to try and steal the jewel. Too bad you failed and he ended up damaging that fragile clay body of yours. It has taken you all these years to patch up that hole. You think InuYasha will not be disgusted with the scent of Naraku on your clay skin?”

“I did what I had to,” Kikyo replied, trying to regain her cool composure, but failing miserably. “Who are you anyway.”

“Someone who does not have to answer to the likes of you,” Taijina laughed, as she flexed her claws. “Now I would vacate this area before I show you how easily clay can be smashed.”

“Show me InuYasha first,” Kikyo replied. “Let him see me then I will leave if he wishes it.”

“Someone of your low rank has no right to request to see any of this Sesshomaru’s pack,” Sesshomaru told her, his voice ice cold, and his face emotionless. “You dare to walk on my lands without my permission. Go back the way you came or face the consequences.”

“You think me lowly,” Kikyo said through her gritted teeth.

“Is there anything more lowly then a clay Miko who slept with a disgusting evil weak Hanyou?” Taijina laughed. “Don’t fool yourself into thinking you are higher then a bug on the respect scale. You are the scum of the earth, no even worst. When you were alive you may have been considered somewhat respectable. But if you ever truly loved InuYasha you would not have believed in Naraku’s trick to separate you two.”

“If my memory serves me correct,” Sesshomaru started. “I believe Naraku tried the same trick on Kagome. Trying to pit the two against each other, yet Kagome refused to believe InuYasha could betray her. How pitiful you truly are clay one. You don’t even deserved to be called a Miko anymore.”

“I still have my powers!” Kikyo fumed. Both demons had wounded her pride, and now Taijina was laughing at her. Removing her bow from where it hung over her shoulder, she shot an arrow towards Taijina. Only to have it caught by InuYasha.

“They spoke the truth,” InuYasha replied, his eyes showed his sadness. Snapping the arrow in half in his hands, he threw the pieces at her. “You never truly loved me. In fact I think you only saw me as a way to get rid of the jewel. ‘Become human InuYasha’ Feh, I bet you would have left me afterwards. Do you even have a heart? I will not go to hell with you. I shall wait for Kagome, my true love. Go back to hell Kikyo.”

“HOW DARE YOU,” Kikyo screeched, hurting all the demons ears with her high pitched whine.

“InuYasha has chosen Kagome,” Taijina growled and slipped out of Sesshomaru’s grasp. Stalking towards her pray, and letting out low growls she headed straight towards Kikyo. “If I were you I’d leave before I got the hell beaten out of my clay ass.”

“Stupid bitch,” Kikyo muttered as she turned to leave. Hearing her comment, Taijina rushed at her, only to find herself trapped in Sesshomaru’s arms. Kikyo turn and saw the sight, Taijina’s eyes where burning red. Fearing for her unnatural life, Kikyo ran as fast as she could away from the castle grounds.

“I’ll kill her!” Taijina screamed as she struggled in Sesshomaru’s grasp. “I’ll kill that insolent little whelp. I’ll beat her clay body with her own stupid clay arms, and slowly smash her face into the ground with my foot!”

“Calm yourself,” Sesshomaru growled. “It will not do you well to let your beast take over. She still has some holy powers, weak though they are. I will not have you injured again.”

Feeling her relax in his grasp, he loosened his grip. Only to have her turn around and slap him. She stormed back into the palace, leaving two Inu brothers just staring at each other.

Later that day, Sesshomaru was sent for by his three Inu Youkai advisors. The three advisors of the Inu house held a certain power over Sesshomaru and any past or future heir. If anyone as ever foolish to cross them they could find themselves an enemy of the whole western lands. First born of the three previous advisors whom where now decease, Cho, Linh, and Fu sat on their respective pillows in a side room of the throne room.

Cho, who had been an advisor since InuTashio, sat on the left, his midnight black hair hung to his lower back. He had cold black eyes, as he fingered his long mustache that fell to his waist. His black advisor robes were wrinkled free, and not a speck of dust was to be seen, just the way he liked it.

Linh sat in the middle, she was the first female advisor, as her father died leaving her as his heir. Her silver hair was tied into a tight bun, and she was cousin to Sesshomaru, as her mother and Sesshomaru’s mother where born in the same litter. Her dark blue eyes stared at the door, awaiting the lords arrival.

Last was Fu. The youngest of the advisor, his father had just recently passed away, he was only 300 years old. His red hair was braided and fell down his back. Constantly straightening out his black advisor robes, he was still nervous at being an advisor, fidgeting on his pillow. At last Sesshomaru entered the room.

“You request an audience?” Sesshomaru asked as he came into the room. His golden eyes locked onto Fu’s emerald green eyes. Fu quickly adverted them, knowing he had lost all hope of gaining Sesshomaru’s respect.

“Indeed,” Linh replied, keeping a firm stare on her lord. “We have matters to discuss.”

“And what matters are these?” Sesshomaru asked, bored.

“The matters of your up coming mating ceremony,” Cho replied, grinning ear to ear.
