Always there

InuYasha stared at Kazuma.



"You don't scare me with your fancy light show!"



"I don't intend to..." he replied.



"You see, when we battled before, i was holding back. This time, i'm letting it all out!"



InuYasha got flashbacks in his head.



"He was holding back?!" he thought.



He looked up at the sky and realized what Kazuma was doing.

He was loading his chains with electricity from the lightnings.



"Damn! If he hits me just once with those chains, I can say bye bye..."



Kazuma stared at him smiling.



"Keh! What are you smiling for?! You're the on..."



Before he even got the chance to finish his sentence, Kazuma threw a chain at his direction.

He saw it coming and quickly dodged it. The chain hit the ground and cracked it wide open, seconds after that

there was a huge explosion.



"Shit!" InuYasha mumbled and kept on running.



Kazuma threw the next chain after him. It hit the ground only a few centimeters from his feet.

The explosion threw him on the ground, making his face bury itself in dirt.



"INUYASHAA!" He heard Kagome scream.



He looked up to see the other chain come flying at him again. He quickly jumped up in the air.



"Where did you go?! You pathetic excuse for a half demon!"



"Up here!" InuYasha raised tetsaiga and screamed:



"BAKURYUHA!"



He unleashed the swords power on Kazuma. It knocked him to the ground, laying on his back.

He landed and put tetsaiga infront of him, because he knew that it would take more than that

to stop a man like him. Kazuma started to laugh viciously as he got up on his feet.



"You really are weak hanyou! You protect these...these filthy humans! And from what?! An

early death?! You're gonna outlive them all!"



"They are my friends!" he answered coldly.



"Oh? Well...i'll take them out one by one, you can count on that! Why not start with

that young woman over there..." He said pointing at Kagome.



"Obviously she means something to you right?!"



Kazuma lifted his hand and by a jerk of his finger she levitated in the air.

He squeezed his hand together, so hard that blood ran down his fingers. Kagome

started to scream of pain. Her legs where bleeding!



"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! INUYASHAAAAAA!!!" she screamed with her eyes full of tears.



"KAGOME-SAMA!!!" Miroku and Sango yelled at the same time.



"KAGOMEEEEE!!" InuYasha screamed.



"See? Humans are so fragile..."



"YOU COWARD!" Sango screamed at him.



He turned to her.



"I'll deal with you later...wench!"



InuYasha snarled of rage. He didn't know what to do! He tried everything on this guy!

At that moment he was scared, that Kazuma was gonna kill her before he even

got the chance to save her. Suddenly he felt his chest pulsate, and he felt a massive anger

spreading through his body. He knew what was happening.



"For you...Kagome...I will become what i hate..." he said low.



"What was that?" Kazum laughed.



InuYasha gave in to the rage. His fangs grew, his eyes turned red, and at last his body changed.

He released a roar at Kazuma.



"So this is the real you hanyou..." he laughed.



"You think you could kill me like that?"



InuYasha jumped faster than before, he knocked Kazuma down to the ground, making him loose his

concentration on Kagome, who helplessly fell into the arms of Sango. Kazuma lost his breath when

he hit the ground, he tried to roll over so that he easily could get up, But InuYasha attacked

him and pulled his claws over his back, leaving deep and deadly wounds on him. He fell down and

tried to catch some air. He saw his attack too late,InuYasha was enraged at him for what he did

to his friends, he was gonna pay! His foot hit him in the side and Kazuma moaned in pain. He sat

up and laughed through the pain.



"You fool! You can't stop me! I...Huh?!"



InuYasha jumped up in the air raising his claws above his head.



"HI JIN KES SOU!"



The attack started to pull every inch of Kasumas body apart.



"Take him down InuYasha!" Sango yelled and threw her bone boomerang.



"HIRAIKOTSU!"



Her boomerang fused together with InuYashas attack.



"I can't just stand here after what he did to Sango and Kagome-sama!" Miroku thought and threw his staff towards their enemys head.


Kazuma started to fade away, but his last words still echoed in the air when he vanished:



"THEY WILL GET HER, I'VE NEVER SEEN THEM FAIL!"



His voice faded. InuYasha punched himself hard in the face, and snapped back to normal. He stuck

tetsaiga to the ground and breathed heavily as he got on his knees.



"Sh-shit...He w...was tough..." He whined in pain.



He looked at Kagome, her eyes where filled with tears as she looked at him. The pain took over

him completely. The world started to fade around him, and suddenly it wnet pitch black.



"INUYASHAAAA!" Kagome screamed.



"Don't worry Kagome-sama. He will be fine, His body was built for fights..." Sango said comforting,

not sure she even convinced herself.



Kagome nodded, and leaned against Kirara before she passed out as well.

AT KAEDE-BABAS VILLAGE



------------------------







Kagome slowly woke up. She moved her legs, and realized that they didn't hurt as much as before.

She looked next to her, and stared into InuYashas amber eyes.



"Hey...so you´re awake now?"



She nodded.



"So...How are you feeling?"



"A bit soar thats all...and you?"



"Fine, my body is stronger tha yours." he smiled.



"As soon as i'm well enough, im gonna find those idiots.." she said.



He laughed at her.



"You're awake for a few minutes, and the first things you wanna do is kick ass?"



She looked at him.



"I am very serious this is not a joke! I don't want you to get hurt anymore because of me!"



He swallowed and pulled her bed closer so that he could take her in his arms.



"And i'm not? Kagome let me tell you something... When Kazuma kidnapped you, i was

scared out of my mind, because i didn't know where he could have taken you, But

thanks to Sango we found you! When i saw him scratch your beautiful legs, my blood boiled!

I wanted to kill him right there...And when he hurt you again i couldn't take it.

Yes, he hurt me...Bad! And yes...I turned into my demon side,And yes, it was completely

worth it as long as i saved you! I love you so damn much Kagome!"



She cried against his warm chest.



"And i would never...EVER. let you die by the hands of the likes of him! Do you understand?"



She nodded and whiped her tears.



"I love you to InuYasha, arigato..." she said and kissed him.



The silence was broken by a loud voice outside.



"HOUSHI-SAMA!!!"



Kagome knew by the tone of Sangos voice what had happened.



*slap* *slap* *slap* *slap* *slap* *slap*



Kagome and InuYasha both laughed.



"But sango please, i can't help myself i..."



* WHAM! *



"Ahh...hahaha.." Mirokus voice echoed as he went down.



Sangos voice was heard mumbling outside the door.



"Stupid perverted monk!...Im gonna...And after that im gonna...And then!"



Kagome looked at InuYasha and smiled. They were gonna get better, and find whoever it was

that was trying to kill her and put a stop to them. But now they needed to rest. She

leaned against him and closed her eyes.InuYasha smiled and followed her actions, and soon they where

both asleep.
