A Goddess from the Past

Chapter 13

Kikyo stood completely still, making sure that Kagome and Sesshomaru wouldn’t sense her. ‘Move now, Kikyo… They will not be able to tell where you are…’. ‘Don’t boss me around, Naraku. Right now, you are in MY body, so you will do as I say’. Naraku didn’t bother arguing with the stubborn miko. All she wanted was sex, and Naraku wanted to make sure that he wasn’t there for that.

Kikyo waited until Sesshomaru and Kagome had entered the house, then began to move again. ‘Naraku. You said that there was a way to get Sesshomaru… Tell me now!’. ‘Hmph… You will know soon… You have to wait just a bit longer…’.

Sesshomaru sat down on the couch and closed his eyes. He didn’t understand why Kagome wanted to spend so much time in such a smelly, noisy, and dirty world. He longed to be in his castle, where he could breathe in the sweet air and be at peace. Something told him to stay in this time though. Sesshomaru knew that it had something to do with the dark presence.

He didn’t know why, but his demon beast was telling him that it was Naraku. Could Naraku have managed to evade death once again? Sesshomaru sighed and let the topic slip. He knew that there was another thing that was bothering him.

Kagome. For the past few days, she seemed to be hiding something from him. Ever since the battle ended, Kagome seemed to have something on her mind. When he asked if she was okay, Kagome would immediately change the topic, and refuse to answer his question. Out of all the things that had happened in his lifetime, this scared him the most.

‘Sesshomaru?’. He opened his eyes and saw Kagome standing in front him with two towels on her arm.

‘Because of all the hard work you did shopping, I am going to treat you to a 5 day holiday at the most beautiful ski resort in Japan!’. ‘Ski… resort?’. ‘Yup! Don’t worry, you’ll figure it out when you get there! For now, let’s get packed and head out!’.

Within an hour, they managed to get everything packed and had teleported themselves in front of the resort. Snowflakes gently drifted through the air, making the resort look like a winter wonderland. ‘Isn’t it beautiful?’. Sesshomaru sniffed the air, looked around and nodded in approval. Kagome giggled at him, earning a cold glare from the lord.

While Kagome was getting the key to their room, Sesshomaru surveyed the area. The presence was there, though it was doing a very good job of hiding itself. He sniffed the air, checking to see if he could catch the scent of the enemy. ‘Clay… Could it be… Yes, it’s that stupid half-demon. He’s the only other person who can go through the well… But why is there such a large evil aura around him…’.

He felt a hand grab on to his and pull him along. ‘Come on! Let’s go and see what the room is like! We still have to get our skis for tomorrow morning! There isn’t a moment to lose!’. Sesshomaru gave the area one last look before leaving with Kagome.

‘So, do the ski boots fit okay?’. ‘Yes, they feel okay’. ‘That’s good! Right now, we’re going to leave all that behind, and go for dinner. This dinner is special so you have to wear a blindfold until I tell you when to take it off. You also have to hold your breath. That way, you can’t sniff out the area. Ready?’.

Sesshomaru nodded, hiding his nervousness. He didn’t understand why he had to wear the blindfold and hold his breath. Doing as Kagome said, he obediently followed her to the restaurant and hoped for the best. ‘Could Naraku have possessed Kagome? Could this all be a trick?’.

‘You can take your blindfold off now!’. Sesshomaru slid the cloth off and immediately opened his eyes. Before him, stood a feast fit for royalty. In the middle, stood a large cake with the words, ‘Happy Birthday Sesshomaru’ written in chocolate icing.

‘Happy Birthday, my dear Sesshomaru!’, Kagome exclaimed happily. Sesshomaru could only sit there in amazement, not believing a single thing. ‘Well? Do you like it?’. ‘It’s... wonderful! Thank you, my love’. Kagome smiled and led him to the head of the table.

After the enormous dinner, Kagome said, ‘That was part one of your birthday present. I think you’ll like part two even more!’. Sesshomaru raised an eyebrow, ‘Oh really? I wonder what it could be…’. Kagome closed her eyes and removed the spell that was masking her scent. Sesshomaru immediately knew what it was. ‘You’re…’.

~Outside of the resort~

‘Naraku! What is the meaning of this? Why can’t we go inside? It is freezing out here!’. ‘In case you have forgotten, Kikyo, you do not have any way of paying to get a room there’. Kikyo’s eyes narrowed as she realized that. ‘Then why the hell did you want to come here in the first place?’. ‘This is the first step to destroying the two… Just wait and see’. ‘Screw you Naraku! Stop telling me to keep waiting, tell me what the hell you are planning to do, otherwise we are leaving right this moment!’.

‘Bitch, you sure are impatient’, Naraku replied. Kikyo began walking away from the resort, and Naraku quickly changed his mind, ‘Okay. This is the plan…’.

~In the Private Dining Room~

‘You’re… pregnant?’, Sesshomaru said. Kagome nodded happily, ‘I told you that this gift was even better!’. Sesshomaru sat there, too stunned to say anything. Before meeting Kagome, having a pup was but a mere dream, a fantasy, but now, hearing that Kagome had a child…

Sesshomaru stood up and picked Kagome in a bridal fashion. ‘We’re going to go celebrate… now’. He kissed her, and then carried Kagome out of the dining room, and outside the resort. From there, he teleported them to the bedroom, where he promptly dropped Kagome onto the bed.

Kagome quickly made the dress on her disappear before Sesshomaru could tear it off in his frenzy. Sesshomaru bent down on top of her and took in a deep breath. ‘Oh gods, Kagome, you smell amazing…’. He captured her lips in a deep kiss, his tongue dueling against hers. His hand wandered over to her breast, cupping it, then circling the tip with his thumb.

The goddess moaned into his mouth, making his member get harder by the second. ‘Sesshomaru… I need you… Fast and hard…’. Kagome moved her hand down, and rubbed her clit, hoping that Sesshomaru would get the hint. In response, he plunged two fingers into her core, while continuing his assault to her breast.

‘Oh, Lord Sesshomaru… That feels so good… Give me more!…’, Kagome said with a lust-filled voice. Sesshomaru saw her hand move faster against her clit, so he did as he was told, adding another finger into the craze. He felt her walls tighten as she climaxed, shrieking out her pleasure.

Sesshomaru licked his fingers clean, then kissed Kagome as he thrust into her wet core. The pale beauty bucked against him, trying to deepen every move. She could taste herself in his mouth. Eager for more, her tongue ventured further into his mouth. Her hands reached up and skimmed over his muscular body, feeling him shudder at the sensation.

Her silky walls engulfed his member, driving him over his emotional edge. His beast emerged, pushing Kagome down. She could feel him pounding into her, taking her to a second orgasm.

There was a deafening roar, accompanied by a scream of delight. Sesshomaru spilled his seed inside of her again, and then fell into the mound of blankets and pillows. Their bodies were covered in sweat, and both were exhausted.

Kagome sighed and snuggled up to Sesshomaru. ‘We REALLY need to control ourselves, especially when our pup arrives’. Sesshomaru closed his eyes, and kissed the top of her head. ‘Don’t worry about that, I’m sure our pup won’t mind’. The two slowly drifted asleep, unaware of the other bewildered guests that had heard the ear splitting roar.

Kikyo wrapped her arms around herself, trying to keep warm. She ran through Naraku’s plan in her mind, hoping that it would work. She thought that if they were the average couple, it would definitely work, but she knew that Kagome and Sesshomaru’s love for each other was limitless and would stop at nothing. ‘Hopefully the plan will work… Hopefully…’.

The next morning, Sesshomaru woke up feeling the best he had felt since he arrived in the future. Beside him, Kagome was still sleeping quietly, her arms wrapped around him. Sesshomaru continued to watch her sleeping peacefully, but his mind seemed to wander back to the evil aura.

Most of the signs pointed to Inuyasha, but out of all the years that Sesshomaru had known the half-demon, never had his aura been so dark. Come to think of it, Sesshomaru hadn’t known anyone with such an evil aura… except…

Sesshomaru knew that it was Naraku. He just couldn’t get over the fact the Naraku had once again escaped death. ‘Good morning, my love. Did you sleep well?’. Sesshomaru looked over at his sleepy mate and gave a faint smile, ‘Of course, my sweet Kagome’. He hugged Kagome and looked away. ‘I can’t let Kagome know… I must not worry her… Not now…’.

‘Not let me know what?’, Kagome said as she read his mind. ‘It’s nothing, just some business matters’. Sesshomaru quickly got out of the bed and headed for the shower, leaving Kagome to wonder what had happened.

Sesshomaru looked out to see endless slopes, covered with snow. They had taken the ski lift up to the top of the mountain and were getting ready to go skiing. ‘Sesshomaru…? Are you sure you know how to ski? Because if you don’t, we can always just stay and enjoy the scenery!...’.

‘Kagome. Do not under-estimate this Sesshomaru. I will go down first, so you can see who the true master of this mountain is, and then you shall come soon after me. Understood?’. ‘Yes mi’lord!’, Kagome said mockingly. Sometimes, Sesshomaru got a tad too bossy and seemed pretty darn arrogant, but Kagome knew how to put him back to place.

‘If I don’t find you at the bottom of the mountain, I will meet you back in our room’. With one last glance, he skied off, showing the world his glory. His gorgeous silver hair flowed freely behind him, as he glided down the mountain with elegance and strength. Kagome stared, making a mental note to ask him where he learned to ski like that.

Just as Kagome started to head down, a hand grasped her shoulder firmly, and something sharp poked her in the back. ‘Don’t try anything sneaky. The entire resort is under a delayed spell. If you try to attack me, everyone here will die. So do as I say, and no one will be hurt’. Kagome gasped at the familiar cold voice. ‘Kikyo?!?’.

‘That’s right. Now head back to your room, and remember, I hold all the lives here, in the palm of my hand…’.

Sesshomaru waited nervously for Kagome at the bottom of the mountain. He couldn’t sense her presence at all, and didn’t smell her anywhere. Quickly, he headed back to the resort, hoping that she was there.
