Desire of the Heart

InuYasha and Kagome roused from their sleep hungry for more of each other. They had spent the entire night exploring one another’s body. InuYasha pulled Kagome up over to him while he sat up against the wall. Kissing her deeply, he enjoyed her scent mingled with his. The velvety softness of her tongue sent electric sparks down his spine.



Kagome then nipped at his neck and chest as he rubbed her upper thighs while she straddled him. He thought that the massage might do her good since he worked her out for most of the night. However, for Kagome, being this close and knowing she had a right to his body when ever she wanted made her wanton. She rocked her body against his stimulating him to arousal. He stroked her breast and kneaded her stomach to a wanting state of stimulation. Once he had again risen she impaled herself upon his shaft arching her body and rocking to the rhythm they’ve created. Her hair brushed his legs as InuYasha roughly pulled her down on him and savagely sucked on her plump breast. “InuYasha!” She cried with every fiber on her body rising to his erotic touch.



“Kagome…” He whispered in a deep timbre that shook her very core. Soon, she pulsed around his stake and collapsed in his arms. After a while they bathed and dressed, as they were headed back to the village Kagome stopped walking.



“InuYasha, the jewel its close by.”



“Are you sure?”



Kagome nodded her head. InuYasha turned around and hefted her onto his back so they can run as fast as they could back to the village. They had to get to Miroku and Sango. Kagome was worried for her family.



Kaede already felt the presence of the demonic being that was advancing toward the village with the Shikon jewel. She alerted the villagers to flee to safety and had gained the assistance of Miroku and Sango. However, she couldn’t get Kagome’s family to leave with the villagers. They were too scared for Kagome. She started to get the sutras up to protect the village but it was too late. The village was attacked.



“Oh no mama, grandpa and Sota!” Kogame yelled out worriedly. Shippo came bounding up to Kagome.



“They wouldn’t listen to Kaede and leave with the villagers Kagome, they are still in the hut!”



Kagome looked toward the hut and saw her mother running out when all of a sudden she screamed.



A giant worm demon went to devour the screaming woman when an arrow pierced through the air hitting the mark. The demon disintegrated. Kagome went running up to her mother hugging her.



“You, Sota and grandpa need to get to safety now, Shippo will protect you until I can come and get you when it’s over ok?”



Shippo all of a sudden looked mature.



“Kagome, I will protect your family with my life you can count on me.”



Kagome gave him a big hug and a kiss.



“Thank you Shippo, I know you will, be safe.”



Shippo ran off having Kagome’s family follow him to safety. Now with her family safe Kagome could fight and not have to worry about them. She had improved immensely with her aim and her fighting skills. They were really training her for this day. And she knew eventually, Naraku would fight them. However, she didn’t think he would attack at the village. It had to be him, no one else would be so bold.



The village seemed to be clear InuYasha had helped some children find safety with Shippo as well. InuYasha and Kagome then caught up with Sango and Miroku.



“Do you think it’s Naraku?” Miroku asked InuYasha.



“I smell his stench, he’s here.”



“I guess this is the final show down, he’s here for our shards we’ve collected.” Sango put in.



“Oh no, the shards! They’re in my sack. I’ll be right back I have to go get them. Naraku is probably searching for it right now.”



“I’ll go with you.” InuYasha said.



“No, I’ll be fine stay and fight, Miroku and Sango need help beating the hordes of demons. They are not going to miss one person for a couple of minutes, it’s in the hut, besides I’ve got my bow.”



Against better judgment InuYasha let her go. She had a point. She’ll run and get them and be right back.



Kagome ran up to the hut she and InuYasha resided in last night when she ran inside to her surprise she saw Kikyo there holding the container that held the jewels. While the demons were attacking the village Kikyo stole that opportunity to get inside the hut and take the shards.



“Kikyo, what are you doing with those shards? Give them back.”



“Who’s going to make me? You? Humph, you make me laugh.”



“Where’s Kaede? Does she know you’re here?”



Kikyo moved out the way and Kagome saw Kaede lying on the floor.



“What have you done to Kaede? She’s your sister!”



“She’s alright she’ll be asleep long enough to allow me the time to do what I need to do and that is to get rid of you, but first I shall make you suffer.”



Kikyo pulled out a light weight sword and stanced for attack. Kagome stood frozen for a fraction of a second before she used her bow to ward off the blows that Kikyo thrusted. Kagome then kicked up at Kikyo and freed the sword from her grasp. She was so happy that she listened to her grandpa and took those karate classes and happy too for training with Sango the way she did. She could fight. However, Kikyo was a trained priestess and also knew how to battle. The two exchanged blows before Kikyo continued to berate Kagome on her fighting skills.



“Kagome, I will not forgive you for stealing InuYasha. It should have been me who loved him, it should have been me who felt his touch! It should have been me who made InuYasha happy your marriage is over because you must die! InuYasha is mine!”



With that she hit Kagome knocking her to the ground viciously. Kagome hit her head against the wall and scraped her arm that pulls the arrow all the way to the bone. It burned like fire however, she wouldn’t know since she met the blackness.



“Pathetic incarnate, you will never be me. You are weak.”
