TITLE: For The Good Of The Pack

PAIRING: Inu Yasha/Kagome/Sesshomaru

SUMMARY: In order to keep their pack going, Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha must mate with Kagome. She will provide them with the heirs that they need and they have come to a decision to take care of her. Inu Yasha sighed. He had been dreading this day ever since he discovered that he was in love with Kagome. He glanced over at her from the corner of his eye and took in a deep breath. When her deep blue eyes looked into his golden ones, he nearly lost his train of thought, but he quickly shook his head and said, “Kagome, we need to talk.”

For the next hour, he explained the situation and then sat back. He had seen Kagome’s face turn many colors in that hour, but now her face had gone pale and he was relieved that she had not started to cry. Yet.

Kagome shook her head and looked at the hanyou that held her heart. No. She could not have heard correctly. Either that, or he was joking. However, when she looked over at him and saw his worried expression, Kagome then fully understood that what he said was not a joke, nor had she heard incorrectly. Inu Yasha caught Kagome before she hit the ground. Well, at least he did not have to watch her cry. To him, tears were the worst. He was about to pick her up, but a hand fell upon his shoulder. He jumped and looked at the owner of the hand.

“Damn it, Sesshomaru. Why in the hell do you have to sneak up behind me?” Inu Yasha grumbled as he stood up with Kagome nestled in his arms.

“This Sesshomaru does not ‘sneak’. I simply walked up behind you and you did not detect me. It must be that dirty blood of yours.” Sesshomaru sneered, his nose turned up into the air.

Inu Yasha growled and said, “Well, don’t forget, you are about to mingle your precious pure blood with a human’s, so I guess that you will also be responsible for creating ‘dirty blood’.”

Sesshomaru glared at his brother. “I do not want this anymore than you do. However, since we are the only two members of our pack that are alive, it is necessary to keep the line going. The girl has no choice in the matter. She will mate both of us and enjoy it, or else.” He said.

Inu Yasha quirked an eyebrow up at his older brother. “You know, and I always wondered why you have never mated until now. You must know how patient Kagome is and know that she will put up with your sorry ass. It must be a real kick in the hakamas to know that a demoness won’t mate you because of your personality. Hell, even that wolf-for-brains Kouga managed to find himself a mate. Granted, she is annoying as hell, but at least he managed to find a pussy for himself instead of relying on his brother.” He jeered, silently patting himself on the back for his comment.

Sesshomaru was not amused. He flexed his claws and then growled. “Bring the bitch. We have a lifetime to exchange such pleasantries, however, the girl is in heat and I would like to have her pupped by morning, if you don’t mind.” He said, turning to walk back into the woods.

When the monk appeared, Inu Yasha said, “You remember what I told you, right? Well, she is ready and we need to go. Keep Sango and Shippo here. I will be back for you guys tomorrow afternoon.”

Inu Yasha shook his head. “The lady’s room is connected to yours. Why is that, Sesshomaru?” He asked, his curiosity stoked.

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes. “I am the lord of the western lands. Kagome is to mate with me and will produce me an heir. She will take the title of lady while you take the title of prince. Has your curiosity been satisfied now, little brother?” Sesshomaru asked.

Inu Yasha barred his fangs at the taiyoukai and followed him into the palace. It was just as he remembered it. Guards were everywhere and they were all glaring at him. Well, let them glare. He cuddled Kagome closer to him and followed his older brother into his private chambers.

“Wake the girl. I will not fuck an unconscious woman.” Sesshomaru snapped as he began to undress.
