Chapter 12: Fear
A/N: Sorry that I have not updated in like FOREVER!! Hopefully this chapter will be well worth it! Sesshomaru is really doing to become very dark and obsessive about Kagome. There are only a few more chapters left to go! Enjoy!

There was something about Monday mornings that just made Kagome want to scream out her irritation at the top of her lungs to anyone that bothered to listen. She rolled out of bed and frowned when her bare feet touched the cold wooden floors. Padding slowly to the bathroom she shared with Inuyasha she turned on the shower and stripped off her tee shirt and pajama bottoms while she waited for the water to heat up. Seeing the steam starting to collect in the air Kagome stepped into the shower carefully. Scrubbing her hair and body quickly she then stepped underneath the stream of water to rinse off.

Stepping out of the shower Kagome grabbed the large blue cotton towel she had placed on the countertop and dried off her shivering body. “Inuyasha, are you awake?” After a few moments with no response from her boyfriend she frowned in slight annoyance and then marched into the bedroom with only the blue towel draped loosely around her body. “Inuyasha, get up now!” He grumbled under his breath and turned his back to her. With a grunt of irritation Kagome grabbed the blanket and yanked it off him making him sit up quickly and glare at her.

“What the hell did you do that for Kagome?”

“Get up! If I have to be so do you!” Inuyasha stuck out his bottom lip in a pouting manner at her hoping to gain at least an ounce of sympathy. When she refused to give in he reluctantly climbed out of bed. Kagome quickly grabbed a pair of gray cotton lounge pants with the word brat written across the backside in blue letters and then grabbed a matching blue tank top and her blue bra. Pulling on her matching blue cotton bikini panties she then pulled on the gray cotton pants. Isha sha watched as Kagome clasped her bra and then pulled on the blue tank top that barely showed off a tiny flash of her still flat tummy. She sat on the edge of their bed and pulled on her blue and gray Nike tennis shoes. Grabbing her gray cotton hoodie and her blue jersey material purse she planted a light kiss on Inuyasha’s cheek as she headed towards the door of their apartment.

“Hey where do you think you’re going Kags?”

“To class, and you should be too mister, it’s already almost seven.”

“Oh shit, I still have to shower!” Placing a quick kiss on Kagome’s forehead Inuyasha made a dash for the bathroom. Kagome giggled to herself as she watched him sprint to their bathroom.

“Bye Yash, I love you!”

“Bye kitten, I love you too. See you this afternoon.”

“Yeah okay.” Kagome grabbed her car keys off the coffee table on her way to the front door and then headed downstairs to where her black Honda civic was parked. Climbing into her car she quickly cranked the engine and pulled out of the parking lot. Making it to school just in time to avoid being late she hurried up the stairs and down the hall to her classroom. Kagome slid into her seat just as the bell rang signaling class was going to start. She didn’t catch the icy glare that Sesshomaru tossed at her from his place behind his desk.

A few moments after the bell had rang and the students had fallen silent Sesshomaru called roll to make sure everyone was accounted for. When he came to Kagome’s name she couldn’t help but notice the sharpness in his voice when her name rolled off his tongue. Shaking it off as her imagination she shrugged her shoulders and grabbed a pen so that she could jot down the notes that were scrawled across the blackboard. After taking notes Sesshomaru passed out the test that they were to take over the last two chapters the had just finished reviewing. Kagome groaned in annoyance at the fact that they had to take a test. Why a test and why oh why did it have to be on a Monday? Sometimes it seemed like the entire world was against her.

She was about halfway through her test when she felt someone staring intensely at her and had to look up. Looking over to Sesshomaru’s desk she noticed that he was glaring down at her as she sat there in front of him. Flashing him a weak smile she quickly averted her blue gray eyes back down to her test. The silence in the classroom was almost deafening as the students hurried to complete their tests. One by one they padded up to Sesshomaru’s desk and handed in their test sheets. Kagome was the last student still taking her test when the bell rang signaling the end of the class. She glanced up at Sesshomaru with wide eyes and he nodded letting her know that it was perfectly okay for her to remain after class to finish the test.

Kagome hurried to finish the test that she had really not studied too much for in the first place. Sesshomaru strolled over to where Kagome sat and leaned down on the edge of her desk making her glance up at him nervously. “You know Kagome, if I didn’t know any better I’d think you procrastinated on finishing your test just to have a reason to stay after class.”

“Not really, I just wasn’t prepared that’s all.” He frowned at her sharp reply and then sat on the edge of the desk beside her.

“Tell me Kagome, is Inuyasha better in bed than me?” Kagome dropped her pen and then glared over at Sesshomaru.

“What?”

“Does Inuyasha satisfy you better than I do?”

“Why would you ask me that?”

“Just curious that’s all.”

“Bullshit!”

“Do you scream out loud when he fucks you the way you scream for me when I fuck you?” She glared hard at him when he flashed her an impish grin.

“Go to hell Sesshomaru!” Chuckling deeply he reached out and tucked a stray strand of her ebony hair behind her ear making her flinch.

“Why so jumpy Kagome, afraid I might hurt you?”

“Maybe.”

“Oh I would never dream of hurting you koi, you know that.”

“What do you want from me Sesshomaru?”

“I know that this whole thing between us started out as just a dirty little affair.”

“Yes and that’s all that it is even now.”

“Perhaps to you, but it has become much more to me my pres lis little pet.”

“What are you talking about Sesshomaru?”

“I want more than just sex from you Kagome.”

“What more do you want?”

“I want you to belong completely to me.”

“I don’t belong to you Sesshomaru.”

“No not yet, but you will.”

“No I won’t because I belong to Inuyasha.”

“Leave him Kagome and be with me?”

“No I will not! I love Inuyasha and I’m pregnant with his child!”

“That doesn’t matter, Kagome I’ve fallen in love with you.” She forced herself to look back down and start finishing the last few questions on her test. “Look at me Kagome.”

“I have to finish my test.”

“I will finish it for you.”

“No that’s cheating.” Sesshomaru ripped the test from Kagome’s desk and threw it across the room.

“Fucking look at me Kagome!” She stared up at him with wide blue gray eyes.

“Why are you doing this?”

“Because you belong to me! No one else will have you Kagome, no one! Not even Inuyasha!”

“Don’t you dare touch him! I swear if anything happens to him I’ll call the police!”

“And you’ll what?”

“And I’ll tell them it was you!” Sesshomaru stood abruptly and yanked Kagome out of her desk. He dragged her to his office in the back of the classroom and slammed the door. Flinging Kagome onto the sofa in the back of the office he locked the door quickly. “Stop it Sesshomaru!”

“Make me!” He strode over to where she was sprawled across the couch and pinned her to it with his weight. “You will not leave me do you understand Kagome?”

“And if I do?”

“I’ll just have to punish you then won’t I?”

“Punish me how?”

“By taking away what you hold most dear to your heart.”

“Are you threatening to make me lose my baby?”

“Of course not! But I will not hesitate in removing Inuyasha from your life!”

“Do that and I swear to God I’ll fucking kill you myself you sick son of a bitch!” Sesshomaru grabbed Kagome and flipped her over so that she was laying on her stomach. “Stop it now Sesshomaru!”

“Oh no, I’ve been wanting to bury myself inside your tight little pussy all weekend long koi and not even you will deny me that pleasure now!” Yanking her pants and panties down to her knees Sesshomaru quickly freed his engorged cock and rubbed the thick head of it against Kagome’s exposed core. She fought to create some distance between the two of them but Sesshomaru’s grip on her was much too tight.

“No Sesshomaru, I don’t.” He let her up so that she could pull her panties andts bts back on. When she was dressed again he stood facing her in front of the sofa.

“Tell me you love me Kagome.”

“It’s a lie, I’m in love with Inuyasha.” His right hand came out of nowhere and struck her soundly across her cheek making her nearly fall back onto the sofa.

“Don’t ever say that to me again Kagome, you see what that makes me do to you?”

“You’re sick Sesshomaru!”

“Tell me you love me now Kagome!”

“No!” He grabbed her neck and pushed her down until she was sitting on the sofa again.

“Say it you little bitch!”

“Sessho, I can’t breathe!”

“Then tell me you love me!”

“NO!”

“Don’t make me hurt you koi!” Kagome reached and found the strap of her purse. Grabbing it and pulling it into her lap she searched blindly to find something to get Sesshomaru away from her. When her slender fingers wrapped around the smooth plastic handle of her nail fihe she smiled in victory. “Tell me that you love me Kagome!”

“Go to Hell Sesshomaru!” Pulling the nail file from her purse Kagome quickly jabbed it into Sesshomaru’s shoulder. He growled in pain from the sharp blade of the nail file sinking into his shoulder blade and released his grip on Kagome’s throat. “You sick son of a bitch! Don’t you ever touch me again do you understand me?” Sesshomaru staggered over to her but she quickly retreated from his office never turning her back on him. Watching with wide eyes as he yanked the nail file that she had lodged in his shoulder free she turned to run.

“You’re not escaping me you little bitch! I know where you live and I know where you sleep!”

“I’m reporting you to the college dean you bastard!” Sesshomaru froze in his tracks glaring at the dark haired girl that was now standing in the doorway of his classroom.

“Now let’s not get hasty Kagome, you don’t have to do that.”

“Keep fucking with me and I will understand?”

“Perfectly.”

“Good. Now leave me and my boyfriend Inuyasha alone!” Sesshomaru help up his hands as if he were surrendering and Kagome took the opportunity to walk out of the classroom. As soon as she was gone Sesshomaru tossed the bloody nail file across the room.

“Damn it you little whore! You will not be rid of me that easily! This is far from over Kagome just wait and see!” Pulling on his coat so that the spot of blood on his shoulder wasn’t visible Sesshomaru walked down to where his car was parked. Climbing into his car he headed home to nurse the small but painful wound that Kagome had surprisingly inflicted on him.

Things were starting to get messy and if he wasn’t careful he could lose everything. His career, his freedom, but worst of all Kagome. She was something he could not even consider the possibility of losing even though she was not his to begin with. Sesshomaru didn’t know when he had started seeing Kagome as more than just an innocent college girl that he had chosen to corrupt but it was clear now that he was more than just infatuated with the girl. Yes she had somehow managed to seep into every pore of his body and make him fall deeply in love with her. So deeply in love that he would not take her rejection pleasantly. No Kagome Higurashi would not reject him, he would not give her the option of rejecting him. Even if it meant having to hurt her which was something he didn’t really want to have to carry out. If she knew what was best for her she would agree to be with him and leave Inuyasha for good.
