chapter 12
Inuyasha was about to argue with Kagome about the whole situation. About how he can take care of himself after she leaves, when a horrid smell hit his sensitive nose. The smell of rotting flesh and decay was strong. He gave a disgusted look as he began to gag.
Hiroshi's nose wrinkled as the fowl stench hit him just as hard. Shippo woke up and put his hand over his nose and mouth. "What is that awful smell?"
"Ren." Hiroshi said as he headed in the direction Ren disappeared too. Inuyasha right behind.
"What's all the ruckus about?" Sango asked as she sat up.
"I'm not exactly sure." Kagome said.
Miroku got up from where he had laid down for the night and came over and sat down next to the girls. "I don't think we have much to worry about." he said as he placed his hand down Sango's backside.
"Do you mind Miroku keep your hands to yourself!" Sango said slapping his hand away and then hitting him over the head.
"Oooo I feel sick." Shippo said ready to urk up what he had for supper.
Inuyasha and Hiroshi found the rotting corpse of a man lying on the ground. "Did Ren do this?" Inuyasha asked.
"What do you think? Of course Ren did this, this is what happens when he lets his demon self take over as it were. Consider yourself lucky you didn't end up like this poor fool when you slept with Ren."
Inuyasha was disgusted at this sight not to mention the complete piece of flesh lying on the ground. He then noticed something dark and shiny out of the corner of his eye he slowly bent down and picked it up.
"The Shikon Jewel? No there's something wrong about this jewel."
"There's no time for that we got to figure out where Ren is. Can you pick up his scent?" Hiroshi asked.
"Just what do I look like to you some lap dog?" Inuyasha sneered.
"You have a better sense of smell then I do since you're a dog demon. Even if you're only half that's where cat demon's and dog demons differ."
"Alright! Alright" Inuyasha said as he smelled out Ren's scent that went onward along with a bunch of other men.
"Mortal men attacked and kidnapped him. How strange a group of men geting a hold of a demon."
"Well, he is a hanyu like you plus there were obviously twenty to thirty grown men. Now can we get going?"
"Yea."
"Inuyasha I have a question?"
"What?"
"Do you have feelings for Ren?"
"Why does it matter?"
"Because you don't want to mess with a Black widow's emotions otherwise you'll end up like that guy over there. But then again you'll end up like that after you mate with a Black Widow Demon."
"Can we just get going?"
