A Royal Pain

Lord Kuranosuke Takeda sat in his chambers hoping that today would be the day he could rid himself of that demon that kept coming to him with gifts every night. The creature would slaughter his soldiers that posted themselves at the door of his room and feast on their flesh before entering his chamber.

This time however, Kuranosuke decided that he would not have guards posted since he did not want any more of his best men to be killed and eaten. This time he would have Inuyasha and Miroku in the chamber close by his so that when the demon came for him he would be prepared.

Kuranosuke sat on his futon and waited until the sun went down. It would be only a few minutes before the demons would come to kill and feast while their leader came for him. It had been this way for two weeks and Kuranosuke was running out of loyal people since their Lord could not protect them.

“You know Inuyasha that message you sent will probably make Sesshoumaru come here after you. Must you always be so blunt with your brother?”

Inuyasha shrugged.

“If he comes than he comes. By the time that happens there will be nothing left of those demons I guarantee you that much.”

Miroku sat back against the wall.

“Miroku, what do you think Sango and Kagome are doing now? Do you think Sesshoumaru is getting his Lord’s bath?”

Miroku thought about it for a moment.

“If he is than there isn’t much I can do about it.”

Inuyasha frowned.

“I know you wanted to be there so tell me what is up your but now. You have been acting like you lost your best friend or some shit.”

Miroku sighed.

“This is that same Lord that wanted to marry Sango. He still loves her and compared to Lord Takeda I am nothing.”

Inuyasha threw a pillow at Miroku.

“Quit your moping. Sango chose to marry you so you should be grateful. After all your womanizing you would think she would have dumped your ass a long time ago, but she stuck with you so stop feeling sorry for yourself.”

Miroku then smiled.

“You are right Inuyasha. This time isn’t like last time. This time my wife is mine and not free to some high and mighty Lord. Thanks Inuyasha. I feel better now.”

Inuyasha started to sniff the air.

“Here they come. Get ready Miroku.”

Miroku pulled out his sutras and kept his staff ready as they both went out to kill off the demon horde that was coming for them.

Sesshoumaru was completely annoyed. He had Sango put the babies on the horse and had her ride alongside him as he and Kagome walked behind the messenger. They were taking too damn long, but Lord Sesshoumaru did not want to leave them behind since his brother would have a fit if anything happened to his wife.

“How much further do we have to go?”

Kagome asked the messenger since her feet were starting to hurt a bit.

“It is just past these hills. We will see the castle soon.”

Sesshoumaru had enough. He was tired of waiting. His little brother could kiss his ass if he thought Lord Sesshoumaru was going to keep walking at this slow pace.

“You protect them, I am going on ahead. If you fail I will kill you.”

Sesshoumaru stated to the messenger who just nodded his head and continued to lead the two females and the children to this castle.

Kuranosuke felt the ominous presence of the demon that entered his chambers like a ghost in the night.

“Kuranosuke, I have brought you a new gift my pet.”

The demon stated as his green eyes glowed in the darkness.

Kuranosuke watched as the demon approached him trying hard not to show any fear.

“I do not want your gifts.”

The demon chuckled a bit.

“Of course you would deny them before seeing what I have for you.”

Before Kuranosuke could move the demon pinned him to the floor and a click was heard as a diamond encrusted golden collar was placed around the young Lord’s neck.

“This will make you submit to me my little beauty.”

Kuranosuke tried to pull it off, but found himself getting weaker by the minute.

“I will never submit to you!”

Kuranosuke yelled as he tried to fight off the collar’s effects. At that moment another ominous power entered the Lord’s chambers.

“Katsutoshi Kaneko you are far from the South. What are you doing in my lands? Are you trying to start a war or is this just one of your games?”

Katsutoshi turned and faced the Lord of the West. Lord Sesshoumaru’s red eyes glowed in the darkness as his silvery hair gently swayed in the breeze.

“Lord Sesshoumaru. I did not know you had an alliance with the humans. I was just going to take my prize home…………..”

Sesshoumaru growled and grasped Katsutoshi by the throat and squeezed.

“This is not your prize and these are not your lands to decimate. You are in my territory trying to take over this castle and you lower yourself to mate a human boy. I am losing my patience with you and your deceitful ways. Take your demons and leave this place.”

Kuranosuke fell to the floor and passed out cold as the collar drained all his will power.

Sesshoumaru dropped Katsutoshi to the floor.

“Remove his collar and be grateful that I let you live this time.”

Katsutoshi growled as he tore off the collar and proceeded to leave only to find another beauty that would work for him. Within a blink of an eye Katsutoshi threw the collar around Inuyasha’s neck and grabbed the half demon disappearing with all his demons into the night. If Lord Sesshoumaru wanted a fight he would have to come to his castle in the South.

Sesshoumaru growled as he tried to follow the scent trail of his little brother, but found only the scent of Katsutoshi’s poison.

Kuranosuke was grateful to the demon Lord and offered him a chest of jewels. Sesshoumaru of course scoffed at the gift. He had more than this human Lord and the only thing he wanted was to have his little brother back.

“Keep your gifts. I have no need of such. You are to protect the humans until I return for them.”

Sesshoumaru stated as he disappeared in a ball of light floating above the trees since he now had to go and retrieve Inuyasha.

Katsutoshi was in shock that the collar he placed upon the hanyou boy was only keeping Inuyasha from killing him. It did not subdue the child as it should.

“Get your hands off me ya bastard!”

Inuyasha growled as he tried to punch Katsutoshi in the jaw. Of course all this fighting was useless since Inuyasha was chained to a wall.

“You have spirit puppy, I will give you that much and your anger only makes you more fetching to the eyes. Such fire in you, it will be fun for me to break you in.”

Inuyasha thrashed back and forth trying to get free.

“I’ll break you in half when I get free asshole and I will get free.”

Katsutoshi was amused, but he had some things to do like rebuilding his troops since the half demon had wiped out quite a few of his best soldiers. The pup was powerful for only being a hanyou and he was quite lovely. In different attire and his hair combed properly young Inuyasha would be a prized mate to the dragon Lord.

“I don’t have time to play today my pet, but do not worry. I will be back tomorrow morning. Perhaps by then you will not be so creative with that wicked tongue of yours. I promise that I wasn’t born a bastard and ripping out my scales will do nothing more than upset me. Trust me you do not want to upset me.”

With that Inuyasha yelled at Katsutoshi one more time.

“You just wait until my brother gets here. He is going to kill every single one of your guards and tear you to shreds.”

Katsutoshi smirked.

“I doubt a half demon such as yourself will cause Lord Sesshoumaru to come rushing to your aid. From what I hear he finds you detestable where as I will treat you like gold. I know Lord Sesshoumaru well enough to know that he is most likely pleased you are no longer his problem.”

Inuyasha growled lowly.

“You don’t know shit about Sesshoumaru and I don’t need him since I am going to fucking escape this fuck hole and kill you when I get loose! You just wait! I am going to kick your stupid ass!”

Katsutoshi turned around and next thing Inuyasha knew he was being kissed by his captor and then he felt pain in his neck as Katsutoshi bit deep into his flesh. The bite made Inuyasha struggle even more as he tried to bite Katsutoshi’s ear off.

“I said don’t fucking touch me you piece of shit!”

Katsutoshi grasped Inuyasha by his throat and held him still while he licked away the blood.

“You taste absolutely delicious. Your blood sings with power. I shall make you my mate with this mark. All I need to do now is consummate our union and you will be mine.”

Inuyasha snarled at Katsutoshi and fought with all his might against the chains that held him prisoner. It was damn near impossible to move though after a while since Katsutoshi injected him with a bit of his poisonous venom.

“My venom will seep into your skin causing you to smell like me and thus will begin the rites of mating. When I am done with you my little beauty you will be completely mine and then I will use you to take your share of your Father’s lands.’
“Now that you are somewhat subdued I will have my servants dress you more appropriately for one who will be my mate.”

Inuyasha growled lowly.

“Fuck you. I will kill you I promise you that much.”

Katsutoshi laughed at the little half demon. Inuyasha was such a fighter.

“Perhaps you will try to kill me, but I promise once we are fully mated you will not be able to lift a claw against me. In fact you will come to see me as your sun and your moon completely devoted to me only.”

At that Katsutoshi left the dungeon to gather his troops just in case Lord Sesshoumaru did indeed come for his little brother. It was unlikely, but Katsutoshi left nothing to chance when it came to Lord Sesshoumaru.
