Two weeks passed after the competition Anaminé’s team brought home the trophy again, but now she lay asleep in the passenger seat of Sesshomaru’s car as the sun was starting to rise behind them. They had just left a hour befor on their way to Kanazawa where Sesshomaru’s fathers castle was. Since Anaminé was to take her fathers spot at the dinners and be treated as if she held her fathers old position Sesshomaru had he shopping all weak for some more formal kimonos since the ones she owned weren’t as formal she he wanted them to be. She would not be attending the meetings where the lords and generals discussed things because she did not have time to bed prepared for protocol and what was going on in the other lands so though she would have the status of her father she would not be holding out his duties. Anaminé was awaken by the sound of waves crashing on the beach, she put her seat up right and looked out the window seeing that they where pulling up to Lord Taisho’s castle. It as a very large feudal castle that had the ocean to the back of it an open field that was covered in her favorite flower moon lilies then the rest was surrounded by a forest. Sesshomaru parked his car and got out; Anaminé followed his lead and went around to the trunk to get her suit case. The two of them where greeted by the guards and staff that lived there full time to keep the place looking nice. It wasn’t long befor Inu Tiasho was walking over to them to greet them. His family had come a few days early to make sure everything was set up properly.

“Sesshomaru, Anaminé so glad to see you made it okay.” Inu Tiasho said with a smile then hugged Anaminé.

“Yeah we almost didn’t” Sesshomaru grumbled.

“Well excuse me but someone forgot to mention that we where leaving at three o clock in the morning its not 7:15 I didn’t get to sleep untill 1 am.” Anaminé growled at Sesshomaru.

“Not to mention you didn’t let me have coffee or even breakfast!” Anaminé added

“Well you didn’t have any problem sleeping in the car” Sesshomaru said coldly looking down at her.

“What choice did I have?!” Anaminé spat back.

Inu Tiasho gave a hesitant laugh “son one thing you don’t do is expect a woman to get up that early in the morning and not have some bite to her.”

“Anaminé one-san!” Rin came running over to Anaminé with a big smile on her face. She stopped short of running into her she was wearing a orange kimono with yellow sunflowers on it. She spun around showing it off.

“Do you like the new kimono mama made me?” Rin asked with a huge smile on her face.

“Very much so Rin” Anaminé smiled at the young girl.

“Rin sweet heart why don’t you show Anaminé where she will be sleeping.” Inu Tiasho said

Rin nodded and took Anaminé’s hand and lead her to her room.

Sesshomaru sighed rubbing his temples “She has been impossible since she has gone into heat”

Inu Tiasho grinned some “is there any chance possibly you and here could….” Inu Taisho trailed off

Sesshomaru gave his father a cold stars and answered flatly “No” He then walked off with his suit case to his room.

Rin opened the door to the room that was next to Sesshomaru’s, it was a very large room it a modern king size bed with the finest linins and a large comforter to keep its occupant warm. There where a couch and a chair for relaxing with a table in front of them. There was also a changing screen for her to get dressed behind and a feudal make up table low to the ground with a very antique mirror and a place for brushes combs and make up. Anaminé left her suitcase near the door and walked over to one of the sliding doors and opened it wide revealing a view of the ocean with a stone path down to it. She then looked to the wall to her right which had two doors that slid open. She could see Sesshomaru’s silhouette entering his room. She let out a sigh and turned to Rin with a smile.

“Have you guys had breakfast yet?” Anaminé asked the young girl.

“No but mama said it would be ready soon” Rin said

“Okay then do you want to help me pick out what kimono I’m going to wear?” Anaminé asked

Rin’s face lit up and she nodded. Anaminé laughed and pulled her suitcase over closer to the wall that had a huge armoire and set her suit cast down in front of it and began to lay her kimonos out for kin to see them. As Rin admired her new kimonos, Anaminé took out her make up brushes and her Kanzashi, which she unfolded from a velvet piece of fabric she had a set to go with every kimono.

“So Rin have you decided which one I should wear?” Anaminé asked

Rin nodded and pointed out a Kimono with a base color of a pink pearlish color almost white with a design on it that consisted of bluish grey branches and flowers that bloomed from them sprouting the colors of red, pinks, white, and purples as the leaves donned a soft green color. The Obi was a soft pink with sakura stitched into it of a slightly darker pink and the obijime was red and white. Anaminé smiled then picked up gently a Kanzashi set that had silk flowers of soft pink and purple. She set the Kazashi gently on the vanity and picked up her kimono and went behind the changing screen to get dressed.
Sesshomaru stood in his room he could hear his younger sister converse with Anaminé. He wondered what kimono his sister would pick out for her. He was glad to see that his father put Anaminé in the roomed next to his considering what time it was for her, with many young demon generals and princes he was certain at lest one of them would try to make a move on her so they where going have to keep a sharp eye out. Sesshomaru sighed to him self as he unpacked today would be quite boarding nothing planned except for the opening dinner since everyone would be arriving today.

Back in Anaminé room she stepped out from behind the screen fully dressed as Rin sat on her bed swinging her legs back and forth she smiled and clapped when she saw Anaminé dressed.

“Your so pretty Anaminé onee-san” Rin exclaimed

“Thank you Rin you are very pretty as well” Anaminé said with a smiled as she sat down at the vanity and began to pull her hair up in a pony tail and went on to curl her hair and put it up in a bun and put her kanzashi and went on to do her make up sticking to soft colors just enough color to enhance her cheek color and give her eyes a little pop. Rin watched over her shoulder.

“I hope one day I can be as pretty as you” Rin said with a smiled

“Rin I brought a surprise for you.” Anaminé said with a smiled she reached over into her suit case again and pulled out a small piece of fabric that was folded a few times. I was about your age when my mother first gave me my first kanzashi set I wore a kimono with the same colors as you are wearing to day. I asked you mother a few days ago if I could give you this and she said I could.” Anaminé said and then began to slowly unwrap a simple but pretty kanzashi set of orange and yellow.

Rin’s eyes lit up and she looked from the set to Anaminé.

“Are you giving me that?” Rin asked

Anaminé nodded “this was my very first Kanzashi set that my mother gave me so its very special so will you promise to take really good care of it?”

Rin nodded vigorously causing Anaminé to laugh some.

“Okay come sit in front of me and ill do your hair and put it in for you.” Anaminé said with a smiled

Rin did as told and sat as still as she could. Anaminé was just finishing up when Sesshomaru knocked on her door.

“Come in” Anaminé called with her back to the door.

Rin looked around Anaminé to Sesshomaru then getting up and running over to him.

“Sesshy looked what Anaminé one-san gave me” Rin said looking up at her older brother.

“You look as beautiful as Anaminé did when she first wore it.” Sesshomaru said looking down at his younger sister.

“Breakfast is ready why don’t you run along me and Anaminé will be there in a few minutes okay” Sesshomaru added

Rin nodded and ran off.

“You are really kind to her Sesshomaru” Anaminé said as she began to hang her other kimonos in the armoire.

“So are you giving her that Kazashi” Sesshomaru said watching her.

Anaminé turned to him and faced him “well I was her age and since her kimono matched the colors I thought it would be a nice surprise for her.”

Sesshomaru nodded as Anaminé finished and walked over to him.

“Come on lets go I’m starving” Anaminé said

Sesshomaru placed a hand on her cheek as he breathed in her scent deeply as her brought his lips to hers letting out a soft pleasing growl. Anaminé returned the gentle kiss and slowly pulled away.

“You really do look beautiful.” Sesshomaru said looking down at her

“Thank you” Anaminé said and began to exit her room with Sesshomaru as the headed to have breakfast.

It was later in the afternoon when Anaminé was walking the hallway looked over the courtyard where lord Taisho and his family greeted the guest, She had run into Hiten and Kouga on their way to their rooms as she walked back from a walk on the beach. What she saw as she entered the hall way the over looked the courtyard made her stop in the tracks. The lord of the south his family and 4 generals had arrived. He had one son the oldest and 3 girls the youngest was her age and was trying to flirt with Sesshomaru. Anaminé place a hand on a wooden pillar as she watched. The girl then looked over her shoulder at Anaminé giving her an evil glare she has violet eyes and hair as dark as the pits of hell. She had a fair peachy complexion. She wore a kimono of the finest silks. Anaminé looked down at the floor untill a gentle hand laid itself on her shoulder causing her to look up and over her shoulder. It was Lord Tanashi, Anaminé stepped away and bowed in respect.

“Hello Lord Tanashi” Anaminé spoke softly

Tanashi returned the bow

“Hello little Sano I see the Lord of the south and his family has arrived.” Tanashi said looking over at the Lord

Anaminé looked over at the group from the south and nodded “Yes they have”

“Doesn’t like you have much of a competition with her she isn’t that pretty if you ask me I’ve never really like cat demons personally, they tend to think they are all high and mighty” Tanashi said

Anaminé raised a sleeved hand bringing it to cover her mouth as she let out a soft chuckle.

“You really shouldn’t say such things like that here Lord Tanashi, though I have to agree” Anaminé said with a small smile.

“Would you walk with me?” Tanashi asked

Anaminé gave a slight nod and followed Tanashi as he walked.

“I see you no longer need your crutches” Tanashi said looking over at her.

Anaminé nodded “I haven’t had to use them for a week now. I still can dance I wont be able to do that for a few more weeks.”

“Oh but isn’t your dance studio out for the summer” Tanashi asked

“Yes but my instructor has offered to help me strengthen my knee up since it hasn’t been use to having all my weight put on just that knee.” Anaminé answered

“Well that is good let me know when your first performance back is and I will make sure to be there.” Tanashi said

“I will do that.” Anaminé said with a smile. They where now on the beach walking in the sand Anaminé had taken off her geta sandals so she could walk easier.

“So how are you feeling with the lord of the south here?” Tanashi asked

“It’s a little unnerving but I would think he would be stupid to try something here with all the other lords here and the treaty and everything.” Anaminé said

“You are probably right but just know that the palace is the safest place for you especially now with all the lords here and their generals someone would be very stupid to try something.” Tanashi said looking at Anaminé.

Anaminé nodded and looked up into the sky.

“It’s going to be weird with out them here tonight” Anaminé spoke softly

“Yeah but everything will work out fine, we should head back befor your friends start searching for you.” Tanashi said

Anaminé looked over at him and gave a soft smile and nodded.
