Golden Eyes

America was indeed a land of possibilities for the Lord of Demons and his family. Tashio center was being opened now by Lord Sesshoumaru. He changed his name to Raiden Steven Tashio and Inuyasha was now known as Ronin Isaac Tashio. Kouga was also renamed Charlie Lee Tashio.

Everyone’s appearance changed just like the rest of their family grew and changed adapting to their new home. Someone had found a diary left by a Kagome Higurashi a long time before all things changed and had written a story turning it into a popular Anime series with their names now all over everything. Sesshoumaru had never been so humiliated in his life.

It was like his whole life was being advertised and none of it was right. It was all one person's opinion of him, but he did not stay angry at Kagome since it was Inuyasha who misplaced it in the first place when he stole it from her room unable to break the lock on it before she came through the well. He hurried and buried it instead beside the well.

A lot of dusting and many years later a story was written by a talented Japanese writer who made the once old diary pages into a story that became a fairy tale as now people were dressing up in clothing to match their favorite cartoon people. Sesshoumaru had hoped that this was a phase, but it seemed to get more popular as time went on and now it had reached the United States.

A hush hung in the air as the new employees of Tashio Center watched the handsome young multi billionaire Raiden Tashio cut the ribbon opening up the finest of the technological centers that would revamp the medical world or at least he hoped so. This was to be a place where people would work on ways to heal people faster, improve the virtual vision wear mainly for Inuyasha who was teaching blind children voluntarily during the day while Sesshoumaru worked as President of this new company.

Kouga known as Charlie was to interview people for the jobs their and check out the females for possible mating. He loved his job, but since they could not just hire females they had to make things look legitimate. So to make this business seem even more legitimate several different people were hired to work on pharmaceuticals as the place was to be a giant health lab since their other businesses were working on improving computers and weapons for the military.

Sesshoumaru had a huge corporation just for supporting the military since he was a military man himself as was their Father so it was an honor for him to try to make things better for the troops who did not have decent equipment. Sesshoumaru was tired of the news and hearing of the casualties in the Middle East. He liked America and it for now was his home. He did not like the politicians and ruling demons did not meddle with human politics. That was for the humans to decide and if they chose to be stupid it was their decision. Still he could not allow the race to wipe itself out.

Kouga loved working for Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha had freedom to come to work at any company they owned. Still Inuyasha spent time being a Father to his kids, enjoying his job as a teacher, and he was close to his mates. Kagome was now pregnant with Kouga's pups with Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha helping them all with this mess. Kagome was going to be fixed after this was done. Sesshoumaru had authority from the jewel that not only had he had enough, but Kagome's poor body never got time to heal after the birth of one set of babies so it was time to give her a long overdue rest. She was not Kouga and Inuyasha's brood mare. They both seemed to enjoy sex too much sometimes.

Inuyasha was loyal to Sesshoumaru, Kouga, and Kagome. Still Sesshoumaru dated a few females as did Kouga finding the same disappointing results.

After five years of bad luck in finding a female something changed when a young female woman almost ran Sesshoumaru over on the sidewalk in a rush as she seemed to be running late for something.

The golden hair with the strawberry blonde highlights caught his eye and then there was the scent. The demon in him made a slight woof slip out of his mouth as he cocked his head watching the woman rush toward Tashio Center almost dropping several things she had clutched in her hands. Her purse was large enough to carry all she was balancing, but it was like she purposely had both hands full of things that did not belong in there for some reason.

Slowly following her into the building as not to draw attention to himself or startle her he was shocked the girl did not even seem to notice him. Most women even the married ones would blush when he looked at them, but it was like he did not exist to her. He was just in her way and that almost made him smile.

The woman was not dressed badly. She had on what looked like blue kimono pants with gold strapped sandals. The top was definitely a kimono top, one a noble woman would wear, but these days all sorts of things people once wore as a nobles were considered just fashionable. She looked very proper even with the things she had haphazardly in her fingers.

That scent was driving him nuts though. Sesshoumaru had to shake his head several times to clear his mind. Then Kouga without a beat rushed down the escalator as though his hair was on fire. He must have smelled it too.

"Mirage you are here! I did not think you would come."

Kouga stated with a huge wolfish grin. It was a terrible idea to let Kouga cut his hair and make it look blondish. Then that damn goatee. It had to go. Kouga looked damn good, but too human. Sesshoumaru stayed back for a moment wondering how Kouga knew this creature and if he did why he did not introduce him.

"I was not really planning on it, but you needed some things from me and your friend said you could use my assistance. I am surprised you remember me and that you want to talk to me. Still I tried to be on time and I am here now."

This Mirage girl stated blandly in a rather tired voice attempting a soft friendly smile to hide the fact she probably hadn’t slept in days.

Sesshoumaru indeed thought he was seeing a mirage when the woman turned and he saw those eyes and her soft smile. Mirage had such incredible sapphire eyes that looked like silver blue skies. She was a jewel. The woman was probably married though. Such a woman could not be single.

"Well I am glad you did. You smell great, what perfume do you wear? I must know since I promise it would sell like crazy at our other company. I think seven men just fell over themselves when you walked in the door."

The girl harrumphed like she did not believe it. Sesshoumaru turned looking at the blushing demon men who were picking up papers, one was dusting himself off from tripping over something, and a few others were trying to pull themselves together as Sesshoumaru let a growl slip not even knowing why he was growling. He had no interest in this woman; just because she smelled good and was beautiful in his eyes did not mean she was any different than any others. Still he felt this predatory protective urge to rip anyone apart who tried to touch her.

"You are amusing as always Charlie. You probably have a billion girlfriends and it is hard to believe you would want to hang out with me again since your lawn probably needs to be mowed instead of spending time listening to me babble on forever. I am glad your friend introduced us again since I did miss you. You make me happy for some reason and made me laugh. I have needed a friend for a long time since I lost my husband, now I don't really need anyone. Still, my son has always really liked you.'
"You had been so kind to me listening to my nonsense and I don't know why you would bother with me again. I was foolish around you, but I do still think of you as my friend if that is not too weird. I figure I owe you so it is the least I can do to stop by and see what I can do for you."

Sesshoumaru had to blink twice. The woman was single so what the hell was Kouga up to. If he thought he would just get away with making friends with a woman like this and not introduce him he had another thing coming.

"You owe me nothing. I was not the nicest guy and I am sorry for the past. I am also sorry for your loss. A son should have his Father, but we can't always fix those things. I have much to show you and this time I will not be turning you down for a drink if you don't mind having one with an old friend."

Mirage smiled sadly and pretended that nothing was bothering her. Still Sesshoumaru could see a small tear she quickly wiped away at the corner of her eye.

"It’s all good. You know that Charlie. I will do so, but I can't stay too long. I am not sure if I am going to stay in town you know."

Kouga frowned. Kouga could not let her move away just to forget a war that had nothing to do with humans after all this time he spent trying to find her. It was a demon war and Mirage was too good a woman to die after her mate to avenge him in battle like she wanted to. Kouga knew Mirage and knew that she would do just that if nothing else for her son's sake.

The people who had killed her former mate were already obliterated by him, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru. The second Kouga found out about it he was furious and begged his mates to help him destroy these bastards for other reasons not ever saying a word that it was really for this woman. Sesshoumaru only would have to walk in the room and Mirage would drop him like a rock for all the shit he put her through.

Kouga had been such a player and he would not lose her now that she was here. Now that he had time to make up for a shitload of things he had done in the past. Mirage had no clue she was an Angel with demon blood which was why her scent was driving even him insane. Mirage was so damn beautiful and did not think so.

This was the only female he had loved with all his heart after Kagome and wanted to protect Mirage even from himself so he foolishly pushed her away. He did not want her to know of his demon life and wondered if Sesshoumaru would freak out on her since she was so damn independent.

Kouga did not know what she would think about him being bisexual, but Mirage was open minded. She was not one to go out of her way to hurt him or anyone else. Mirage is so fragile and so sweet, but would she truly understand him?

Breathing her scent in Kouga felt so alive. Kouga did not ever forget that soft kiss to his neck or the way she looked at him. Mirage had this hungry look in her eyes like she wanted to eat him alive and it turned him to mush. Every time she would get ready to leave he would talk to her just to keep her around and that scent. Then he let his temper get the best of him when he found out she was going back to her mate. He should have been happy for her, but he was damn jealous.

Kouga would also never forget that hug with her beautiful soft body pressed against his before he thought he lost her forever. His friends wanted her and he had to push her away to keep his life from corrupting his beloved Mirage. Kouga felt her going to the man she still loved was the right thing to do. He met him, did not much like him, but they were rivals so it made sense.

The man she was mated to was intelligent and powerful. Even with Sesshoumaru it was not wise to piss someone off of that dark creature's caliber. He would eat him up and spit him out for breakfast for touching the woman that had been marked by that demon. Now it was just convincing Mirage that she still wanted him and that she would still see him as sexy as she thought he was before they parted ways.

"You can't bring him back and to sacrifice yourself will not make things better for you. You need to think of Bobby."

Kouga stated as he took her hand kissing it gently then smiled softly as he started to lead her away only to have Sesshoumaru step in front of him stopping them both.

"Charlie you have not introduced me to this Lady. Don't you think I deserve to know who is going to be working for us since this is my company?"

Mirage looked at Charlie who smiled shrugging as he looked into Sesshoumaru's eyes with a playful smirk since Mirage did not have her jaw drop at his mate. She stood there looking confused and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Charlie I did not say I was going to work for anyone when I came here so what is this all about? I haven't even put in an application for this company and I really have no intention of doing so."

Sesshoumaru looked at Kouga who was grinning from ear to ear as he watched Sesshoumaru make an ass out of himself. It was funny as hell. Sesshoumaru bowed politely to Mirage then took her hand in his kissing it slightly as he smelled that delicious scent that was driving him insane.

"My apologies my Lady. I was not aware. Charlie hires on most of my staff so I assumed you were to be my new personal assistant."

Kouga's mouth dropped. Sesshoumaru had not ever done anything this blunt in front of him or anyone else. He ground his teeth, but refused to let his temper get to him. Mirage was his now as far as Kouga was concerned and Sesshoumaru was trying to steal her away.

"Sir, I am sorry to say I am not interested in the position. I already have a job I am quite happy with. I am sure Charlie will be more then able to find someone suitable for the position you need to have filled. It was a pleasure meeting you."

Sesshoumaru let her hand drop reluctantly, but regarded the woman who did not seem even slightly phased by him. Women normally practically threw themselves at him and Kouga. This one was not. She was looking at him as though he were no more then another ordinary man in her way. He liked that, this woman is a challenge. Not some annoying twit that would fawn over him constantly. Kouga definitely had good taste and licking his lips after he nodded his goodbye he had to admit she tasted incredible. How could Kouga have hid her for so long? That scent alone was just one thing, but demon men could not ignore a woman like that. It was impossible. She did not care about any of them and such a mysterious creature had to be researched.

Kouga sighed happy that Sesshoumaru had not made Mirage act stupid like other women did when they met his life mate.

"So what did you think of my boss?"

Mirage shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't really know him and since I won't be working here does it really matter? I mean I came here because you are my friend. I know you. Otherwise I would not have bothered Charlie."

Kouga could not help it he had to know.

"Ok wait a second Mirage. I am not trying to be vain, but you have to understand. Women swoon over that guy. They usually completely ignore me and babble for hours about him. I mean you wrote that you wanted me. I never forgot those letters. As much as I wanted to deny it, I did want you. I just was an idiot."

Mirage laughed. Then Mirage shook her head pulling out the hair tie. It hurt to have her long blonde hair up all the time, but it was so windy here. Kouga almost whimpered trying his best to behave since Mirage went from pretty, to adorable, to absolutely gorgeous, and now in his eyes to goddess level. The woman was amazingly beautiful and his heart was racing a mile a minute. Did she have any clue at all the power she had over males?

"You crack me up Charlie. You are such a tease. I am sure you have billions of girlfriends much younger and better looking than me. After all this time you now flirt with me? Please. Give me a break and quit being a tease.’
“Still that feels better. What, you are looking at me funny. I know my hair is jacked up and I am all sweaty from being out in that hot sun. It was your dumb idea to move to California and my dumb idea to come all the way out here to Ventura to see you. I love the beaches, but this sun is miserable some days. It is much better than the desert though for a couple of days. Felt like I was living in a giant cat box and Bobby is on spring break so this was a nice vacation for us. He is enjoying his game station in the room so I can’t stay long."

Kouga smiled and tried not to laugh at her. Mirage looked at him like he was insane.

"You are not jacked up at all. You crack me up. You are the only woman I know who actually had looked forward to seeing all day and the only one who I know that does not think she is better than everyone else. You should be on a magazine, you are beautiful."

Mirage rolled her eyes.

"No that is you. I am just here and you are trying to change the subject. You wanted to know if I thought you boss is hot. So he is, but that means nothing since looks do not make up for a lousy personality. I don't know him and I have no interest in anyone like that so I don't know why you are asking. Like you he probably has women falling all over him so why in the world would he or you bother with me. No I don't think you are being serious and if you were it doesn't matter. I have no time for this.'
"Your boss looks like one of those people you would hang out with. He is too good-looking. He looks like someone who is trouble, kind of snobby, but seems to be a gentleman. Perhaps that is why you did not introduce me to your friends or hang out with me. I know a lot of that was me in general and that I am guilty for.'
"Biggest thing was you made me feel like I had worth when that stupid guy treated me like I was an embarrassment to him just for kissing his damn cheek. He is a moron, but still it hurt and you made me feel better.’
“You make me laugh Charlie. I considered you my best friend even though I don't know what the hell I was to you. I still don't know, but I am trying to be your friend again."

Kouga sat and motioned for Mirage to sit in the recliner once they reached his office. She sat back with her hair flowing about her looking up at the ceiling. Mirage looked tired, sad, and lonely. This was going to be really hard since there was an edge of bitterness towards him in her voice and it was not undeserving.

"I have not dated since the death of my dearest Dalton and I don't know if I want to. He was my husband, but mate sounded better. It always did. I don't really know what I want, but I do know I want to kill those jerks that killed my mate.'
"No one wants me to dwell on things, but I feel so useless just doing office crap. I know I am in a good place as far as my stability in caring for my family. Still I want to kill them. I guess I am bad for that. I want to kill our enemies and I rarely sleep anymore. I just think about ending their lives every day for what they did and I regret I was not a better wife to my mate every damn day. I hate so many people with every fiber of my being and I hate most people mainly because I don't want to be around anyone.’
“I hate humans and sometimes I don't think I am one. I know it sounds foolish. I don't want to be related to so many stupid people. I must be strange. Something has to be wrong with me and here you are listening to me rant again. You would make a great therapist Charlie. You are too patient and too good of a listener when it comes to my babbling at you. I have to annoy you; either that or we are both crazy."

Kouga watched as Mirage closed her eyes looking away trying hard not to cry. There was so much anger in her and so much sorrow. It would not be hard to unlock it, but there was shame in the sorrow because she had this dumb idea like Sesshoumaru that emotions made people think you are weak.

"You know that crying is ok. I have pretty strong shoulders and I can lend you one if you need it."

Kouga whispered. Mirage laughed as she wiped away two stray tears angrily.

"You have a lot of strong things. Last time I hugged you I thought I was hugging a brick wall. You are built like a rock. Thanks, but I hate crying. I don't like feeling anything. I do though when I am with you and sometimes I hate it. You made me feel so weak and stupid for so long. I must have looked like a complete ass to you. Throwing myself at you like some stupid school girl. I am so sorry about that Charlie. No wonder you went away and did not want to talk to me anymore. I must have really embarrassed you and heaven knows I embarrassed the hell out of myself. I had you as my friend and should have just been happy with the friendship we had. I pushed and I was an idiot for it. Now all I want is that drink you offered, to help you with this report if you still want me to, and to get this life over with."

Kouga got up and bent down on one knee grasping Mirage's fingers in his hands. Mirage looked at Kouga like he lost his mind.

"You should not have ever felt like that. I have so much to tell you and I am not sure how you will react. Still you say you are my friend so I have to tell you honestly I was so wrong about you. I was wrong to just let you go like I did."

Mirage closed her eyes and then looked down at Kouga with a sad smile.

"Don't care for my old wounds because of pride Charlie. I miss my husband is all and this is just an emotional old fool in front of you. Please just be my friend and forget the stupid past. I should not have brought it up."

Kouga could not stand it. Mirage was closing off that heart he loved so much and without thinking he grabbed her kissing those lips passionately. Mirage opened her eyes at a low growl and Kouga pulled away too. Sesshoumaru opened the door unable to take this shit any more. Kouga was hiding something and he was not going to keep this good smelling creature from him. Then he walked in to see his beloved Kouga kissing this woman he wanted. He did not know which one he wanted to kill.

"What the hell are you doing Kouga?!"

Mirage pushed Kouga off of her and grasped her purse forgetting the papers as she rushed out of the room feeling confused. This was not what was supposed to happen. The two males were too busy growling to catch her before she disappeared down the hallway and out the doors of the building running as fast as she could. Was it her imagination or did that really happen? It seemed unreal that Charlie's boss would have red eyes and a mouth that had four razor sharp canine fangs? Charlie's eyes had changed too. Then Charlie’s boss called him Kouga? That wasn’t right. She had to go make sure he was ok......... What about Bobby though? She had to get home to her son. No it was time to go and get her head on straight. Mirage fumbled with the keys trying to get into her car when next thing she knew someone touched her and she was out cold. Sesshoumaru stood behind the woman who had seen him in demon form. The spell would keep her unconscious until he figured out what the hell to do.

Picking up the girl in his arms along with her purse and keys Sesshoumaru disappeared as quickly as he had arrived with no one even knowing he was ever there.

Kouga was fuming. Sesshoumaru had no right to do this shit. He was on house arrest and Kouga paced as he waited for Sesshoumaru to arrive so he could give him a piece of his mind. The asshole had no right to interfere during this courtship. Kouga's only thoughts were of those lips and how good Mirage had tasted. She was so damn sweet and his demon was furious that he had not just taken her like he wanted to.

Sesshoumaru entered the room after capturing Mirage's son and talking to some officials in the military he knew would take care of things. He was a federal contractor and was able to come up with a rather sneaky plan to keep Mirage under his thumb. She was prior military and the military itself would insure that she was still under theirs if they could make this work to benefit them both. A billion dollars of free weapons were exchanged for Mirage and her son. Basically the government sold her out to a demon for a five new stealth bombers.

It was not easy either since Mirage was well known, liked, and even those men seemed to have this protective instinct when it came to the strange beautiful woman as well as the young teenager who smelled just as good except his was that of a child of great power. The boy had put up quite a fight too. It had not been easy to subdue him.

It had been one hell of a day. Sesshoumaru had actually argued with people who would normally do anything for him to get them to bend on this shit. Mirage was a national treasure it seemed like with these people knowing people in high places and her disappearance would not go unnoticed. It would also be a huge problem if she were to die. He was warned by lower demons that thousands of them would come for him if anything were to happen to this female.

Sesshoumaru also had a hell of a time getting her fired from her job too. The people there liked her work and wanted to keep her on. That would not do. He had to make sure Mirage and her son was moved immediately in order to do as he planned. Sesshoumaru had decided at that moment when he saw Kouga kiss Mirage that he was going to make Mirage his female mate or kill her. At this point it was up to the woman in his bedroom and Kouga had no say so in the matter. Sesshoumaru was too damn old to wait anymore and Kouga was still young enough to find another.

Then Kouga was acting like a total ass and instead of Inuyasha being the brat it was now Kouga. Kouga had always been upfront never hiding anything so what the fuck was up with him now? Inuyasha then walked into the room.

"Something smells great in here."

Kouga looked at Inuyasha and growled.

"Shut up mutt face."

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru who was growling at Kouga.

"What the hell is up with you two? I can smell that, it smells.......wow. I like that I have to........."

Inuyasha sniffed the air and touched the door to the room they were keeping Mirage in.

"Touch that door and I will rip off your hand Inuyasha."

Sesshoumaru stated angrily. Inuyasha jumped back and then started growling at his mates. What the fuck is in there?

"What the fuck is wrong with you two."

Kouga growled.

"You have your own female Inuyasha so but out of this!"

Inuyasha lifted his eyebrow.

"Ok since when is Kagome only my female Kouga. You mated her too."

Kouga then sat on the couch after this realization in defeat. Fuck, why could nothing go right with his life?

"You were hiding this delectable little female creature from me. Why?"

Sesshoumaru demanded trying to keep his temper in check.

"Look I met her a long time ago as that human I play since that form seems to please women, that Charlie guy that even you think is hot so I kept that human form. I worked all those weird places trying to find a female to mate like we talked about.'
"I met Mirage and she was my subordinate for a while. Mirage was married to a real powerful asshole who I actually admired and that powerful kid is their son. Mirage had a thing for me, but it was not really her idea. Her friends talked her into it and she was not free of this demon guy. I knew it and I am no idiot when it comes to getting my ass whooped by some powerful creature who makes you look like a nice guy Sesshoumaru."

Sesshoumaru leaned back against the wall.

"So you did not tell me about this powerful demon either Kouga. What else are you hiding?"

Kouga growled.

"I did not hide it you jerk. She was mated to the guy so it did not matter. I did not have a chance in hell and no one else would have either. The guy died so now she is free, but she has been in mourning for like three years. I just found her like last week and I talked her into coming by to help me with my school report."

Inuyasha smirked trying not to laugh.

"School report? You are not in college Kouga."

Kouga looked at Inuyasha and had no sense of humor today.

"No shit Sherlock. I made it up. I did not know how else to get her to come see me and she wants to find a way to go avenge her mates death. Like I could allow that when I fell in love with her years ago. I just did not think I would see her again and since she was mated I did not think I should see her so why the fuck would I even mention her to anyone? Mirage was not available and now that she is I get one lousy day to finally make some amends for my stupidity then it all falls apart."

Sesshoumaru nodded understanding as he looked at the floor.

"She saw me as a demon. You know what that means."

Kouga's face went white and then he started growling as his eyes bled red.

"You are not going to kill her Sesshoumaru."

Sesshoumaru looked away.

"Your right I am not. I am going to mate her. She doesn’t have a choice in the matter and neither do you. I am going to take this female as my mate."

Kouga felt Inuyasha holding him back as he went to tear into Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha knocked Kouga back onto the couch and roared.

"Stay put. What the fuck do you mean you are going to mate her Sesshoumaru?"

Inuyasha yelled. This time he was pissed. He had not even met this person and he was not allowed to touch the fucking door knob. Who the fuck was this woman that was causing his two mates to want to kill each other.

"I am going to make her my mate. If Kouga wishes to share her or you Inuyasha it is up to me if I decide that I want that to happen. The decision is made. I have found my female. She is brave, does not really pay much attention to me which is strange, and rejected you Kouga. She did not ask for that kiss and you rejected her a long time ago. You could have killed her mate and taken her. You chose not to. So I am claiming my right to take her."

Sesshoumaru stated matter of fact like this was the normal thing to do and that everyone should just be happy about it. Kouga started laughing then.

"She won't want you. Mirage does not even know you."

Sesshoumaru then smirked.

"She does not know the real you either. I gathered that from her reaction."

Inuyasha watched the two demons wondering what the hell got into his mates. This woman had better be extraordinary to piss these two off that much.

"What you are both going to mark territories now or what is the deal? What if she doesn't want either one of you?"

Sesshoumaru and Kouga both snorted.

"Ya right. She wants me I know she does."

Kouga stated acting all cocky. Sesshoumaru smiled wickedly.

"She wants you or Charlie?"

Kouga frowned.

"I was going to show her before you barged in."

Inuyasha stood in between the two of them. He may be blind, but he was no idiot at least not since Sesshoumaru made sure he had the best education anyone could wish for.

"First of all I want to meet her. Second of all why don't you both put your cocks away for a while along with your egos? Let her choose. We know she has to mate one of you now that she knows Sesshoumaru is a demon. That she probably will not be happy about and for all we know she may prefer death. Sometimes I do."

Sesshoumaru and Kouga both growled at that comment.

"That was not amusing Inuyasha."

Sesshoumaru stated firmly. Inuyasha placed a loving hand on Sesshoumaru in apology.

"Look I just figure let her decide. Let her get to know you before you force her to do something she may hate you both for. Worst case scenario we tie her down and all three of us bite her so no one can bitch that any one of us is better than the other. Fair enough or do you want to draw straws?"

At that Kouga had to laugh. It was kind of funny, but it may come down to that.

"Mirage is not as weak or fragile as she looks so I am for the tying down thing. It isn't just her you will have to win over you know."

Sesshoumaru, Kouga, and Inuyasha groaned. The kid was going to be hell. They could feel the power in corner bedroom. Sesshoumaru would spirit the kid off later to take him to Sango and Miroku.

"Just who the fuck was her mate and how come I never met him?"

Sesshoumaru stated in frustration running his fingers over his hair.

"I have no real clue since I only met him once I just sensed his power for a moment, but fact is now we have two new demons in this house and we are going to have to figure out what to do since we can't keep them prisoner."

Kouga stated firmly. Sesshoumaru smirked.

"Why not? I have done worse things."

Sesshoumaru slapped Kouga on the ass causing the wolf to yelp a bit and then all three men opened the door to where the female was laying on the bed looking like a sleeping Princess. Inuyasha's breath caught in his throat.

"Wow Kouga. How the hell did you hide that? She is beautiful. An Angel like Rin and smells like a demon too. How is that possible? Such beings don't exist, they are fairy tales."

Inuyasha stated firmly as he walked forward ignoring the growls from his mates.

"Shut up you two. You both got to touch her, smell her, and taste her. I can smell both of you on her. It is my turn to understand this creature."

Inuyasha gently moved a stray hair away from her forehead hating that the only way he could see her was with these stupid virtual reality glasses which he was certain showed nothing as splendid as his mates could see. It was her aura that made him gasp in awe though it was so strong. Inuyasha kissed the Lady on the forehead then pouted at her standing up then walking out of the room to go sit on the couch. Sesshoumaru and Kouga followed closing the door. Sesshoumaru looked at Inuyasha who looked dumbfounded.

"I don't get it."

Kouga pouted and sat next to Inuyasha trying to figure out what was wrong with his mate.

"You don't get what?"

Inuyasha looked rather sad and heartbroken.

"She rejected me. She rejects all of us. What the fuck did we do wrong? I can see why she rejected you two ego maniacs, but she doesn't even know me."

Sesshoumaru smiled and leaned against the wall again closing his eyes allowing her scent to fill his senses.

"She was marked you idiots. Of course she is going to reject us. Her mating mark is not fading and she is dying. So we fix it."
