Worlds clash

InuYasha looked at the beautiful human ahead of him, who was talking to villagers asking about Naraku. Her beautiful long black hair that over the last three years she had let grow to the middle of her back. She still traveled in her school outfit and he wasn’t complaining. He thought about how she had gone from the girl who looked like Kikyou to the woman that had captured his heart and has taken over his want. That kiss that she had given him to call back his human side when it was being sucked into the mirror had stayed with him. He can still barely taste her sweet lips and feel how soft her skin was. Though he knew that he hurt her. He knew that his claws had drawn her blood. He looked down at his seemingly clean claws and all he saw was the ends dipped in blood. Her blood. This goddess that he followed could never love him.

Shippo climbed into Kagome’s arms and she held him and handed him a lollypop. She had been talking with the villagers about the demon that had ruined a lot of people’s lives, especially the ones of her friends. None had any information about the evil incarnation. She began to wonder if this Shizuka knew what she was talking about. She sighed and then she turned to InuYasha. “No news.”

“I told them.” InuYasha smirked and crossed his arms. Just as he did so a man passed them and went to the storeowner. He reached into his Kimono and then started patting himself down.

“Why that little bitch! That little mute fucking stole my wallet!” InuYasha looked at Kagome and she looked back. The two ran to the spot they were to meet and looked around for Shizuka. They spotted her not far from the meeting place and her and Youko were looking down at Hotaru with a twisted look on their faces. Shizuka’s ears twitched and she looked back at InuYasha and Kagome. Youko looked back as well. A large crowd began to form and they all came to her. Hotaru grabbed onto Shizuka’s leg and tears began to fall from her eyes. “Get her!”

“Mommy! Mommy!!” The mob of people grabbed Shizuka and an elder woman grabbed Hotaru. Several men grabbed Youko who was trying to get to her. She reached out for him and him to her. Kagome went to run to them but InuYasha held hr back.

“Let this play out. She stole from that man.”

“But InuYasha…” She looked up at the man she had been traveling with for nearly three years. “She’s our friend.”

“Just watch,” InuYasha figured this had happed to her on many occasions.

“Mommy! Let Mommy go!” Hotaru kept shouting from the elder woman’s arms.
“Child what are you talking about? She is a demon you are human.”

“She took me in. My real mommy and daddy were killed by robbers. She was walking by and she killed the robbers and took me in as her own.”

“Has she… Hurt you in any way?”

“No! Mommy never hurts me. She protects me from monsters and bad men.” The town people looked at each other.

“Check her for my wallet.” A woman walked over and searched her pockets and inside her toga.

“Nothing.” She pulled out her hands and they were empty.

“Let Mommy go!” Hotaru was released from the older woman’s arms and she ran to Shizuka. Shizuka pulled her into her arms and snuggled into her hair. Youko was also released and InuYasha and Kagome came over.

“Lets go meet up with the others and leave. They don’t know anything about the whereabouts of Naraku.” Said InuYasha as he turned to leave. Kagome looked at InuYasha then at Shizuka.

“Are you ok Shizuka?” she nodded, as did Hotaru. Hotaru was still in Shizuka’s arms and Shippo in Kagome’s. They traveled and met up with the others.

“Any new information?” Asked Kuwabara.

“None that pertains to this Naraku.” Kurama stated and both Shizuka and Hotaru choked back a chuckle. The rest of the gang looked at them like they had sprouted three extra heads. InuYasha looked around the group.

“We have to move.” Said Yusuke.

“We can’t.” Kagome looked over at InuYasha and he nodded to her. “We have to rest tonight.” The rest of the Inu-Gang agreed.

“I thought you wanted to catch Naraku.” Kurama said looking at them.

“We can’t go on. We are at the most danger tonight.” Said Kagome.

“What do you mean?”

“InuYasha can’t…” Kagome placed a hand over Shippo’s mouth to silence him.

“You can’t what InuYasha?” asked Kuwabara.

“Nice going runt! Why don’t you blab to the entire world about it?”

“Blab what?” Yusuke asked looking at InuYasha.

“InuYasha… You are a half breed correct?” Kurama asked and InuYasha nodded “Then I understand. Guys just drop it about InuYasha. Will you be joining us tonight or…”

“No… I have… Business to attend to.” InuYasha looked at Kurama and gave a small nod of thanks to him. Kagome smiled at Kurama and the topic of conversation was dropped.

“Do we have enough money to spend the night in a inn?” asked Yusuke.

“We do,” Hotaru pulled out a fat bag of coins from her kimono.

“WOAH! Where did you get all that mo…” Shizuka placed a hand on Kuwabara’s mouth.

“Keep your voice down you big oaf! Shizuka nearly died today for this.” Hissed Hotaru. The group looked at Shizuka and Hotaru. “Hey we’re thieves. We do this.”

“You stole this?” Asked InuYasha.

“Yes.” Hotaru and Shizuka smiled proudly. “Shizuka was born and raised one and was taught a few things by the Great Thief of all time.”

“Who?” Asked Miroku. The Yu Yu gang looked at each other nervously and then at Kurama who spoke next.

“I was. I say was because since then I have changed my ways.” Kurama said looking at each of the members in eye. “18 years ago in their time,” he pointed at the Yu Yu gang, “I had died. But in this time it has been a year according to Shizuka. Kagome what is the time difference between your time and this?”

“500 years.” She looked down. “It doesn’t make sense. How can we be all from the future, come in from the well, but from different points in the future?”

“Linnia? THE LINNIA?!” Kurama raised his voice in excitement. “You spoke to her?” The gang looked at him like he was crazy. “You spoke with the goddess?”

She told me that a well would be the one to bring back an old friend bring new friends and where I would find in the soil a way to bring the one I would mate back to me.
