Chapter 12
Two thousand, seven hundred and eighty five years later, Saisho and Rihashi was standing near two graves. “How long has it been since father and mother died” Rihashi asked “I don’t really count how long its been since they where killed” Saisho said. “God cant you say it were it doesn’t sound so terrible” Rihashi told him.
“You know though I still cant get over how it had happened” Rihashi said “who cares it was the past and that’s all” Saisho replied. “I have to say that I still miss them” Rihashi told him, “do you feel the same” he asked Saisho. “I don’t need to answer that and besides I don’t have time to think about such things” Saisho said.
He then started to walk away “you’re a terrible liar” Rihashi said in a small whisper. Rihashi had always known that Saisho missed them but mostly his father. Saisho had hoped that Sesshomaru would have been alive far longer.
Becoming the new lord of the west was a big step for Saisho but he had managed to do a good job. The lands had been peaceful but he still went on patrol to make sure nothing was wrong.
Saisho was sitting in Sesshomaru’s study which was now his, he would spend many hours in their sometimes. Even if he didn’t know it Rihashi sure did, it seemed that Saisho always spent time in their.
He then heard a knock on the door “you may enter” he said standing near the window, just like his father use to do. “Father, mother was wondering if you where coming down for dinner” his eldest son Marko said. A few years after Sesshomaru and Rin died, Saisho had found himself a mate.
She was the youngest daughter of the lord of the east, Saisho had agreed with taking her as his mate since he needed to keep his bloodline strong. It wasn’t out of love, it was just the same as his father and his real mother. He wasn’t completely heartless and hated her full and through, he just wasn’t into loving her.
Saisho had promised to protect her and his children, he ended up having his eldest son Marko. Then came his second eldest son Drake, then along came his twin daughters, Mia and Tia and now his mate was pregnant again. She only had one month to go until their next offspring would be born. It had seemed that Saisho’s mate got pregnant rather easily but even though he barely shows it. He loves his children more than anything in the world and would protect them no matter what.
That was the only love he had and it was for his children and them alone. Having four children and a fifth one on the way was hard work. Saisho’s twin daughters where the hardest to handle since they where still young.
Rihashi still lived in the castle and he to had a mate but they hadn’t had any children yet. They decided not to hurry because they had all the time in the world to have their own pups.
It seemed that both brothers had their own lives to live and someone to protect. Saisho had his children and Rihashi had his mate. They will keep living for the sake of those they care about and see what the future holds.
After so long of confusions and feelings it seemed that Sesshomaru’s sons where finally understanding the meaning of true happiness. He had been watching over the both of them since his passing and would always until the end of time.

“I am glad that they all had a happy ending mummy” a little girl said to her mother. “So am I precious so am I” she kissed her daughter goodnight and walked out the room. She walked downstairs into the lounge room. Her husband was reading a book until he noticed his beautiful wife walk in and sit down next to him.
“Is she asleep” he asked “yes and I am sure she will have happy dreams” she said to her husband. “What story did you tell her tonight” he asked her, “the one story I will never forget” she replied. “So you told her the one about us huh” he said looking at her, “it may had been our past life but I can remember as if it was only yesterday” she replied.
Her husband looked at her “me to”, she leaned her head on his shoulder “I love you Sesshomaru” she said, “I love you to, Rin” and he kissed her on the forehead.
