LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! THIS IS NOT AN UPDATE! ONLY AN EXPLANATION!
Chapter 12- Metamorphosis will be posted in mid May. *throws party and dances*
I know that some people have been asking me if I am dropping this story and I owe them some answers. The answer is a resounding NO, and my postings in summer will be more frequent, due to my lack of schooling.
As to why I have not been posting since Christmas, I have had a bizarre situation to deal with. OK. Here goes. (If you don't care...I am not offended. I'll see you with an update in May!)
I finally broke off my long-standing engagement to a man who I was with for many years...because I fell in love with my college roommate at first sight...and am now paying the psychological repercussions of living a lie for two years. Take this from me. Don't stay in a loveless relationship out of duty, out of fear that the years of your life devoted to that person were a waste, or to punish yourself, just because the one you are meant to love is not the one you expected. And then when you add in schoolwork, work-work and a death in the family...things just get even more complicated. After fighting with everything to try and keep it all under control, my creative energies just went to zero.
Sooo...my muses are now finally returning to me, and though I will not write at any real speed until my classes are over, I have Topsy Turvy on my mind all the time, I'll have you know. ;)
Thank you everybody for your patience. I couldn't ask for a better audience.
