Chapter Twelve

The dog stopped and sniffed the air, looking for traces of the fox. A snarl was heard as the fox jumped down from the tree branch to land on her back. Her head turned snapping at him, missing as he jumped to her neck. She felt his teeth close around the skin and admitted defeat.

She changed back putting him on her back. His weight caused her to lower herself on the ground as he changed back. She blushed feeling him almost on top of her, "You can get off me now."

"I think not. Seems, I've nicked you."

She saw his silver hair fall over her shoulder before his mouth latched onto her neck. His tongue came out licking the tiny puncture wounds. It sent shivers down her spine, her nerves came alive at the sensation. A startled gasp passed her lips when she felt his teeth rake across the tender flesh. Both his hands were on the ground holding him over her as he sucked on the wounds. A moan escaped her when she felt her body react.

"Shall we see about my size? Afterwards, you can tell me if you have any complaints." One of his hands left the ground to make it's way under her body to cup a small but firm breast. His lips left her neck to land on the shell of her ear. His thumb raked across her nipple causing it to harden, he moaned in her ear. "I believe my 'size' would have you screaming under me begging for more." He pushed his erection against her backside, grinding it against her. "I think we should find out."

"Kurama." The voice was cold, spoken with deadly intent.

Killany blushed when she recognized Hiei's voice, he had to have heard everything the fox had said. She didn't look at him but stared at the ground. Her eyes widened when she felt Kurama place a kiss on her neck before getting off her. Not wanting to face either she scrambled to her feet and took off back towards the temple.

"Yes?"

"Don't play with me Kurama. You will keep your fucking hands off her."

"I have already given her my courtship mark, I plan to pursue her." He watched the small shoulders tense in anger.

"I don't care what you gave her, I will not let her become another one of your many conquests. Find a whore to tend to your needs."

He watched the fire youkai leave, knowing it wasn't over. His body wanted the girl, plus she was receptive to his advances. It would only be a matter of time before he bedded her.


"So what do you think about what Yukina said?" Kagome asked her as they sat in the bedroom.

"I don't know, she didn't appear to be lying. So she actually believes what she said." Killany sighed, she had too many things going on in her mind.

"Think it possible that when they tossed him, he survived?"

"Maybe, part of me wants to ask her about it but I don't want to tell her who I am." She looked at the confused look on Kagome's face. "Whatcha thinking about?"

"Hiei. I mean nothing."

"Hah, too late. Fess up, what's going on in there." She tapped her head.

Kagome crossed her legs and looked up at the ceiling. "Nothing important really, I just."

"You like him, I already know that."

Kagome didn't say anything, she had to admit there was something she liked about him. It might be his aloof attitude that reminded her so much of Inuyasha. Maybe she was just lonely, she wasn't getting any younger. She had to admit that he was very attractive, short but seemed to have a nice build. His features were very small, made her want to place soft kisses along his face. Then maybe he would let her see what it would be like to kiss him.

"Oh please tell me you are thinking of Hiei."

"Huh?"

"I can't think of anyone else that would turn you on." She laughed at her.

"What? Shit, damn it, don't fucking smell me. That's what I get from being friend's with a dog." She got up and stormed out the room, her embarrassment followed her out.
