Between Best Friends

Chapter Eleven


Kagome woke up when she felt a hand running along her stomach. It was causing her senses to stir. She turned her head and found Hiei watching her. She took in the room where'd she lost her innocence. It was a very large bedroom neatly decorated. The king size bed was in the middle of the room. It had blue satin sheets placed on it, now they were bunched around her waist. There was only a few pictures on the walls. Some were of Kurama and people she could only assume were his human family. There was one that caught her attention it was of Hiei and Kurama. Even the picture betrayed the bond between the two friends. She felt a finger slide across her nipple.

She turned on her side to face him, "Good morning." She lowered her face and kissed him lightly. He grabbed her by the arm pulling her close to him. "Where is Kurama?"

"He is downstairs visiting with his human mother." Hiei responded and ran his hand down her hip.

"So we are alone." Kagome grinned. She forced him on his back and sat over him. "Now that I got you alone what am I going to do with you?" She decided to play with him. She thought about the way he had made her scream last night. Now it was her turn to see what her little demon could take. She brought her head down and ran her tongue over his nipple. He sucked in his breath as she caught it between her teeth. She made her way down his chest licking every inch on the way. His hand found its way to tangle in her hair. Once she settled herself between his legs she brought her lips to kiss the tip of his shaft.

Hiei was trying not to moan. Kurama had left about ten minutes ago when a knock had sounded at the door. He informed Hiei that his mother had been coming over to speak to him. They were both downstairs, the living room was located right below the bedroom. He felt Kagome begin to take him into her mouth. His hands gripped the cover as she began to slide him deep into her throat and massage him at the same time.

Kagome heard his growl and smiled. He made a move to grab her but she proceded to smack his hands away. She knew he was the type of man that liked to be in control. 'Not this time.' She decided he'd had enough she climbed onto him straddling his hips.

He went to grab her once more, this time she caught his hands and placed them above his head. "Don't you move." She reached between them and grabbed him. He felt her hand slide up and down him, teasing. What was worse she sat above him and began rubbing it against her opening. She was wet and the tip was quickly becoming coated with her juices. Before she stop him he grabbed her hips bringing himself up to fill her. A groan escaped both of them. He threw his head back against the pillow. Shock filled him as Kagome began to ride him. She placed both her hands on his chest using him for leverage as she slid up and down. He began to lift himself off the bed meeting her thrusts. He felt her orgasm as she tried to suppress the moan. He quickly flipped her on her back without drawing from her body. He smiled as he brought both her legs up and placing her ankles on his shoulders. Kagome felt the difference when he placed her in the position. He slammed into her causing her to scream out. Heedless of the fact that company was downstairs he drove into her. Kagome heard someone screaming in the background and realised it was her.
He felt her muscles tightening around him and picked up his speed. Not caring that she was screaming loud enough for those downstairs to hear. He felt his release hit him and he collasped on her as he emptied himself into her.

Kurama was discussing his step-brother's new girlfriend with his mother when he heard Kagome scream. He groaned knowing that his mother had to have heard it to. Sure enough she glanced above her head. "Shuichi, who's upstairs?"

He couldn't tell his mother he was sure Hiei had woken Kagome up, in the way he himself had been wanting to. "Mother, its Kagome." At her shocked expression he continued. "She was sleeping when I came down. She has nightmares every so often."

"Shuichi, you didn't tell me that you had a serious girlfriend. If the young lady spent the night with you I'm hoping you are planning on making an honest woman of her." She stood up. "Well, I want to be introduced to her then."

He knew his mother wouldn't leave until she had her way. Also if he didn't comply and bring Kagome down, shed march upstairs to meet the girl. That wouldn't be too good either. "Very well I'll go check on her and bring her down. Give me a few minutes and we will be right down." He left her as she seated herself back on his couch. He opened the door to find Hiei on top the girl, looking like a kitten that had found an endless supply of cream. Kagome blushed when she saw the door open and Kurama walked in.

"Kagome my mother would like to meet you. Since your 'nightmare' informed her of your being here." He chuckled when her face lit up. "I'd suggest you hurry shes not known for being patient."

"What am I going to wear, I was brought here in nothing but a shirt." He handed her the shirt and dug through his bottom drawer and brought out an old pair of sweatpants he'd long outgrown. Hiei sometimes wore them but they would be just fine. She quickly got dressed and spotted a brush. It took her a total of three minutes to get dressed and brush through her long hair. Hiei never left his spot on the bed.

Kurama couldn't help but pick on her as they made their way down the stairs. "From the sound of it, I'd say before we leave Hiei owes me and you some time alone." She blushed. He grabbed her hand at the bottom. He stopped to whisper in her ear. "Oh, my name is Shuichi."

Kagome spotted the woman sitting on the couch who quickly rose to meet her. She pulled Kagome into an embrace. "Its good to meet you Kagome. Call me Shiori."

"It nice to meet you also." The woman was middle-aged and she was lovely.

"I'm so glad Shuichi finally decided to get serious. I can see he has chosen well for himself. You are very pretty and you have kind eyes." Shiori could see the way her son looked at the small girl and knew he was in love with her. Maybe there would be a wedding in the near future but she wouldn't press just yet. The phone rang taking Kurama away from them. She asked Kagome to take a seat next to her.

'Oh no! The mother talk.' Kagome prepared to be questioned. Every mother wanted to make sure their son had the right girl. She wasn't sure what to tell the woman if she started asking personal questions.

"Do you go to school?"

"Yes ma'm, I just finished my freshman year to be exact."

"Thats great. Shuichi always did well in school. I'm so glad he never found one of them air head girls you see running around these days." Her friend Yumi came to mind at the comment and Kagome supressed a giggle.

Kurama came back into the room. "Kagome, that was Kuwabara. He wanted to let you know that your uncle was looking for you."

Kagome wasn't sure what he meant by uncle. Who would come see her? Sesshomaru had to be her uncle. "Thank you."

Shiori stood up and Kagome joined her. "Its nice to see that you have found someone special Shuichi. Bring her over to dinner next week so everyone else can meet her."

"I'll try mother." He kissed her on the cheek and walked her to the door. Kagome waved to her until she walked out the door. Kurama knew Hiei was already upstairs getting dressed. Before Kagome could turn around he was standing behind her.

Kurama slipped his shoes on as he explained the phone call. "Sesshomaru is at Genki's so I suggest we hurry. From what Kuwabara said he wasn't too happy that you weren't there."

Sesshomaru watched the two demons land with Kagome in the red head's arms. He looked her over to make sure she was alright.
He first noticed the change in her aura and then her smell. She reeked of both demons. His growl filled the yard. Kouga was standing beside him and glanced up. He noticed the differences also. It was obvious that Kagome had mated with both demons. Kouga had given up his claim on Kagome a long time ago but still felt jealousy. He would not act on it though. Sesshomaru was another matter. He had the rage of a father returning home to find that his daughter had just lost her virginity.

Kagome saw Sesshomaru walking towards them. She believed everything was okay until he unsheathed the toukijin. His expression never changed but you could see the deadly intent in his gaze. Kurama and Hiei saw it also. If the lord wanted a fight he would get one.

Kagome knew that a fight was about to take place and had to stop it. She ran from her two lovers to stop Sesshomaru. Her hands grabbed his sleeves. "Sesshomaru look at me, they didn't force me." He glanced down at her face. "I love them."

"Do you?" He sheathed his sword. "We shall soon see." He stared at the two demons seeing they were ready to fight for the girl they had claimed. Should he tell them now that Kikyo and Inuyasha were on their way here as they speak. He wondered how the girl would take seeing his brother again. Better yet how would the hanyou react finding his Kagome claimed by not one but two other demons. He walked within hearing distance of the said two, "Fail her and I shall kill you."


Keiko watched the display from where she was sitting. Her and Yukina had decided to put a blanket on the ground and enjoy the fresh air. Yukina had recently excused herself needing to tend to a few chores. She'd seen the way Kurama and Hiei watched her friend which made her smile. Kagome finally had a chance at being happy. She thought of her relationship with Yusuke. The more she thought she saw reasons why they weren't meant to be together. She loved him dearly always would. She felt the hair to stand on the back of her neck. She turned and saw a strange looking man standing not too far away from her. He had long black hair, an angelic face that could be put in magazines. He looked at her and smiled. She caught his eyes and her blood ran cold. His eyes were filled with hatred and malice. Some other emotion swirled in them she couldn't place. "Yusuke."

Sesshomaru turned to see the girl named Keiko sitting about thirty feet away. He watched her stand up on shaky legs and glanced behind her. "Byakuya," within seconds he had the girl in his arm pulling her away from the demon. The others ran to his side as Byakuya made his way towards them.

Kagome felt fear fill her body as his gaze landed on her. Behind him emerged hundreds of demons most small but they swarmed like locust. "Kagome." The one word sent a chill down her spine. He broke eye contact to eye the girl Sesshomaru still had in his arm.

Sesshomaru realised he still had ahold of the girl and released her. She went to stand beside Kagome, the demon's eyes followed the girl.

Byakuya saw the girl that housed the jewel that would soon be his. After taking the jewel he would destroy the girl's soul eliminating the threat she possesed. He would not make the same mistake as his creator. He would play no games. He would take what he wanted. His goal had been to come here and kill the girl personally. Seeing that Sesshomaru already here put a damper on his plans though. Something else had caught his eyes. The girl now standing beside the miko. He'd watched her for several moments before she had felt him. He had sensed a strong spirit within and he'd have fun breaking it.

Kagome knew a battle was about to start so she grabbed Keiko's hand. With one word spoken from Byakuya the herds of demons descended on them. Sesshomaru ordered her to take Keiko and get to safety. They took off towards the temple but never made it. They were surrounded. Everyone else even Kuwabara was pitching in fighting off all the demons. There was too many and they were quickly being outnumbered.

Kagome watched as her and Keiko came face to face with alteast thirty demons flying in front of them blocking their escape. Hiei and Kurama saw her in trouble and tried to make their way over. They were cut off having to fight their way through. Keiko squeezed her hand, she'd never seen so many demons attacking at once.

One went for Kagome planning on killing the girl with one clean strike. "DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH HER." In a flash of red the demon was torn apart. Keiko looked up to see a man standing in front of them wearing all red with doggy ears on top of his head.

Inuyasha came in time to see the demon about to hurt Kagome. He landed in front of them. "Stand back," he ordered. He unleashed the full force of the Tetsusiaga destroying the demons in front of the girls.

"Hey muttface a little help over her." Kouga yelled as he kicked another demon.

Sesshomaru knew what was about to happen. He yelled at the other demons fighting along side him. "Clear away, now."

Inuyasha watched as they all gave him a clear path. He swung his sword once again unleashing its power. The others looked on in astonishment as energy shot from the sword clearing almost all of the demons from the sky. Inuyasha spotted Byakuya standing off to the side. "Time for you to fucking die." Before he could reach him an arrow flew past them to strike Byakuya in the chest.
Most of his body was torn away.

Byakuya cursed his luck at getting here so late. Now everyone was here and it would be harder to get what he wanted. He called upon some miasma and disappeared.

Everyone stood trying to take the events of the last few minutes in. Kagome's cry broke the silence.

She couldn't believe it was really him. He was standing not far from her, alive. "Inu... yasha."
