Chapter 12: The Moon Of The First Born

InuYasha could feel the blood drain from his body as his face flushed with fear, eyes wide as terror rippled through ever inch of his well-toned body. He cried out, lifting his arms to shield his face as the long canine fangs came crashing downward, the sickening crunch making him grunt from the heavy pressure.

He heard a dissatisfied growl from above himself and opened his eyes, moving his arms from his face to see his brothers long fangs embedded deep into a long boomerang, it’s flat side holding back the long fangs of the enraged demon-lord. He snarled, pushing down farther, his fangs cracking loudly into the thick piece of bone.

“InuYasha...”

The hanyou, for once, was relieved to hear the voice of the demon slayer, the long snarling cry of Kirara as the demon-cat dove downward, dropping of her master and the monk. Kagome was not far behind, Shippo bounding at her side.

Kirara dove at Sesshomaru’s large dog body, pushing the lean flank with her smaller head. It did nothing to the lord, his large wings spreading wide as he roared with rage, flapping the white feathered appendages, gusts of long swirling wind knocking back the cat-demon.

Sesshomaru raised his head from his brothers chest, relieving the heavy pressure. He snarled, the long arched bone clung deeply within his long fangs, keeping him from biting at the cat or the intruders. He turned, swatting a paw as Kirara neared again, making the cat hiss angrily and jump backward, landing light-footed on the ground beside Sango.

“What happened to him?” Miroku asked, helping the hanyou from the ground.

“I don’t know. It has something to do with the blood in the moon,” InuYasha panted, still feeling the weight of the bone pressing deep on his chest.

“Why does he have wings?” Kagome asked.

“I do not know,” InuYasha said quickly, watching as his brother tried to rid himself of the boomerang stuck to his teeth.

“The moon has just barely risen,” Miroku grumbled. “He will be in this form for many more hours.”

“What can we do?” Kagome asked.

“Run...” Sango cried.

The others looked up and gasped as Sesshomaru flung his head, the boomerang flying from his teeth and disappearing far into the trees to the left of them. He snarled and barked at the moon, his eyes fixed to the sky. He turned his gaze southward, his nose catching Kagome’s scent first.

He snarled, taking a step forward, the pounding shaking the ground as dust rose from under his chick foot, a dark growl exploding from within his long white throat. He hissed angrily, fangs exposed dangerously as he took yet another step closer, keeping his eyes riveted to the miko and her scent.

Without second thoughts, InuYasha grabbed Kagome’s trembling upper arm and hauled her into the trees, swinging her onto his back as he ran, the loud bark from his brother deafening. He could hear Kirara panting behind him and the sound of Miroku’s charms swinging from his staff.

He bounded through the trees without a second thought as to whether or not his elder brother was following. His intentions were to get his friends from his danger and return to face his brother, even if he was weak at the moment being.

“InuYasha, you are injured,” Kagome whispered from his back.

“It’s nothing so don’t worry about it,” InuYasha snapped in his usual tone, though he could feel himself straining to stay aloft.

“Please, InuYasha,” Kagome whispered. “I can ride with Miroku and Sango if you wish it of me.”

“I said don’t worry about it,” InuYasha snapped once again.

The hanyou cried out when a heavy paw slammed to the ground before his face, making him run smack into it and knock backward, Sango and Miroku calling out to him and Kagome if they were alright. He groaned, sitting up as he looked into the threatening eyes of the dog-demon before him.

Slowly, InuYasha blinked, looking att he crescent moon on his brothers forehead. Before, he had not noticed for fear of running was more important, but now that he was able to, he noticed that the moon on his elder siblings forehead was glowing an eerie red, just as the moon was.

‘What the...?’

That was the only thing InuYasha was able to utter within his mind att eh sight, the glow flashing dimly at him, the unblinking eyes of his brother piercing him as if he was able to see him. InuYasha knew he was not able to, but it was not his sight that was worrying InuYasha, it was his brothers nose and ears.

The large male had adorned much stronger senses from the loss of his eyes. Though they still did not know if his loss of sight was yet permanent, his other senses had heightened considerably since his loss of eyes. He could smell the hanyou for miles upon miles if he was to venture from the forest near the village. He could hear the leaves drop to the ground, though they sounded silent, even to InuYasha’s powerful hearing.

The large demon-dog snarled, baring his long shapely canines, the acidic saliva of his mouth dripping from his curled gums, burning holes in the earthy core below. His growl rumbled deep within his echoing throat, reverberating against the trees, making them sound hollow and ghostly.

InuYasha took a slow shaky step back into Kagome, pushing her into the bushes. She didn’t argue with his shoves, knowing he was only trying to protect her. Shippo was huddled in her arms, staring out from one eye at the large demon that was advancing on them. He shuddered, nudging his head deeper into her belly.

Sango appeared in front of him, her boomerang lapsed onto her back, standing ready incase the demon lord decided an attack was necessary. Miroku had pulled his rosary beads loose from around his wind tunnel, also waiting for an advancement from the demon lord. They both looked back at InuYasha as he pushed Kagome into the cover of the bushes, making her crouch down before walking between the monk and slayer.

“What do we do?” Sango asked.

“We fight,” InuYasha said through tight teeth.

The others could tell he was seething fear and pain. Seeing his elder brother – and lover – in this state was probably hurting him more than anything. The lord no longer recognized his brothers scent, the only smell that branded him was that of Naraku when the spider demon had punctured his stomach with long tentacles. It left a scent that could only be identified as one thing.

The enemy.

Sesshomaru seemed to note the increasing danger, his steps stopping, head low and eyes piercing. His breath came quick and wispy as he breathed in the scents around him. The slayer, monk, kitsune, the miko and Naraku. It was puzzling. Why would they wish to help Naraku when he was their enemy as well. It mattered not, as long as the demon was killed so he could find his brother once again and love him like he wanted to.

Naraku’s smell was odd to him, the mixture of dog and spider was uncanny. Why would he have the strong fumes of a dog-demon when he was a mere spider. Another scent, that seemed to catch Sesshomaru’s strong nose was the presence of heat. Though no male demons or humans could go into heat, half demons were different. Not only did they have half blood of human and demon, they could also reproduce. How was still unknown to all, but it was much possible.

The spider-demons scent was just that, a mixture of the three bloods he could smell. He was in heat and smelled that of a dog-demon. It was annoying and alluring to the lord dog. He had to shake the though, his throat drying from the thought of his mate in the same state. All half-demon’s went into heat at the same time.

Sesshomaru roared angrily, diving at the three enemies standing before him. They jumped out of the way in time, Sango calling forth Kirara and jumping onto the saber-tooth demons back. She tossed her boomerang, knocking the large bone into his side. It did little damage to his thick fur and skin, the arched bone flying into the air.

Narkau’s scent was behind him and he turned, his paw coming down onto InuYasha’s chest. He gasped, coughing, blood spraying the air. Sesshomaru’s long snout seemed to curl into a lopsided smile. His teeth glistened in the red moon, shining down on the hanyou he had pinned to the ground.

“InuYasha,” Miroku yelled.

Three sutra’s were tossed at the large dog demon, blue lightening flashing at him and burning his fur, attack his skin and making him roar. He kept his foot firmly planted on InuYasha’s torso, swinging his other paw at the monk. Miroku did not move in time, three long slash marks cutting across his body. He flew backward unconscious into a tree near Kagome.

“Bastard,” Sango hissed.

Kirara dove with a loud snarl, hissing as the large cat demon neared. Sesshomaru turned, opening his jaws and roaring, his acidic saliva spraying into the air. Kirara hissed, a splotch of saliva hitting the cat demon clear on the neck. She cried out, falling to the ground with Sango on her back. They both crashed tot he ground, Sango pinned beneath the heavy weight of her unconscious beast.

Sesshomaru’s attention was returned to the figure struggling under his heavy paw, the heavy panting not only from the exhaustion of trying to escape, but also from the heat radiating from within the small hanyou. He could feel the figure shiver beneath his padded foot, his white brows invisibly arching with confusion. Naraku was not the type to shiver, not even in such a situation as this.

“Please... brother... I love you,” InuYasha whispered.

The words seemed to have an effect on the lord. He jumped backward, his foot releasing InuYasha’s crushed stomach. A heaving breath entered the hanyou’s welcoming lungs. He stood on shaky legs, stumbling back into a tree and peering through blood matted bangs at his brother who was now cowering backward.

“Sesshomaru, I promise you... it’s me. InuYasha,” the hanyou whispered comfortingly.

This time it didn’t work. Sesshomaru barked and backed up farther, his long fangs bared. He backed his flank into a tree and pushed against it, knocking the thick tree down from it’s roots. His long white wings spread wide, as if he was about to fly away. He snarled, flapping them once, a gust of hurricane wind blasting down on the world below.

InuYasha covered his face. He needed to get his brother back, no matter what. The others were injured, Kagome tending to them. It was up to him now, and only him. He took a stiff step forward, ignoring the gale-force winds blowing at him.

“Please, Sesshomaru,” InuYasha said lightly.

That was the last thread. Sesshomaru roared with such rage, it burst through the trees, the energy from the long howl knocking the forest clear around them. It was nothing but a massive field as the trees swept through the air, dropping into the distance with a loud crash that reverberated to them like an echo.

Sesshomaru turned his head back downward, standing up on his large hind legs and diving into the air, his large wings leaving an explosion of wind in their paths. He streaked toward the moon, his body stretched to the limit, neck reaching for the blood in the round sphere floating above them. He arched in the sky, his body completely covering the moon.

A red glow emitted from the blacked-out figure in the sky, the body shrinking down slowly, as if returning to it’s original form. InuYasha perked his dog ears, hope resinating in his yellow orbs. He took a few stumbling steps forward, almost dropping to his knees as he watched the form of the dog disappear back into the man he knew so well. One thing was off, though, about his brothers appearance.

The long, white wings that he had adorned from the dog body remained, keeping him afloat in the sky. His eyes burned red, as if his demon nature had not subsided. He drew Tokijin from it’s sheath, lifting it before his head. The sword glowed a deep blue, red swirls floating around the length of the blade.

“SESSHOMARU NO...”

The sword came down, an explosion of blue and red expanding like a semi-circle from below. The ground cracked and crumbled, a large crater appearing below the bright flash of colors. It expanded and grew, stretching to the far corners of the forest, the loud rumbling and shaking of the earth deafening to all those who sought it as a sign.

The lord watched as the world below continued to crack and crumble, the rocks becoming lick molten lava spewing into the heavens. He smirked, eyes glimmering with a sheen of red hatred. Maybe now Naraku would learn not to take on his darker side. He hadn’t remembered it would be the nigh of the red moon.

The red moon, it’s blood sheen slithering across his creamy skin. It was not just that he was affected, but any dog demon was effected by the bloodied moon. It was a time when the males were meant to mate with their partners, whether it be male or female. It marked their joining, and the beginning of new life.

Sniffing, Sesshomaru felt a frown tug at his face as he downcast his gaze, a hand gripping his wrist and pulling his sword to the sky, the blast skyrocketing. He snarled, using his other free hand to clamp his clawed fingers around the slender neck of the male holding him. Naraku had, escaped him...

InuYasha panted, his body almost fully given way on him as he used his last amount of energy to push his brothers hand away. He gasped when he felt the hand around his neck tighten extraordinarily. He grunted, one eye twitching as he tried to take a breath, only to feel an even tighter squeeze around him slender neck, the claws poking his skin breaking into his veins.

“Please...”

He felt tears leak down his face, the warmth on his skin flushing him completely. A single tear dripped from his chin and landed on the shirt sleeve of his brother. He took a quick glance and gasped, the heat within his body boiling within him like a pitted fire. He panted, staring at the red droplet of blood that had leaked from his eyes. He was crying blood.

With a weak hand, InuYasha grabbed onto the front of his brothers white kimono, pulling himself down, hoping that this last thing would bring the male he hated to love back to his senses. His lips brushed the elder male, a sigh escaping his lips as he pressed them to Sesshomaru’s, his hand trembling.

Sesshomaru felt his eyes go wide. The soft tenderness of the kiss he was receiving was one he knew well. He knew that Naraku could copy a persons form, but copying the way they tasted and felt, was not something the spider could do. Slowly, Sesshomaru eased his grip on the others neck, brining the mouth closer and prodding his tongue against closed lips. They willingly opened and he explored, marking out the familiar caverns. He pulled away, staring blankly at the quivering hanyou he held.

“InuYasha,” He whispered. “I’m so sorry.”

That was all the hanyou had to hear. He wrapped his arms shakily around his brothers neck and pulled himself into the warmth of the white kimono, the long slender arms wrapping around his sleek waist. He shuddered, rubbing his face into the scent he remembered well. It was so beautiful to him, so enticing.

“I thought I had lost you there for a minute,” InuYasha muttered, his voice silky and soft.

“I’m so sorry, brother,” Sesshomaru sighed sadly. “If this damned blindness was not in set to my eyes, I would have known better.”

“No, it’s alright,” InuYasha said sternly. “It was never your fault.”

Their lips met again, softly and inviting, but then increased to something more. They growled against one another, Sesshomaru wrapping one arm behind InuYasha’s back, the other laced into his silken hair and pulling him even deeper into their passion. The hanyou moaned into the kiss, their bodies pressed together, heat exploding all around them. It was so needing, so inviting.

“You smell beautiful,” Sesshomaru growled seductively.

InuYasha looked to the ground. Kaede was down below, Kagome kneeled beside Miroku and Sango, the men of the village circled around them. He turned his gaze back to his brothers blooded face and brushed the back of his fingers of the pale skin. He smiled, running one finger over the top and then the bottom lip before sliding his hand to trace the shapely jaw.

“Let’s go,” InuYasha whispered.

Sesshomaru needn’t a second word. He spread his wings wide and pushed, sending the two downward into the forested trees below. He landed skillfully, carrying his light burden into the solitary confines of a basking tree. He eased InuYasha into the arch of the tree, sliding down along side the panting hanyou and capturing his lips again. They slid their arms around one another and melted into a searing kiss that made them both moan.

InuYasha, slid his arms around to the front of his brothers silky kimono, untying the sash that held the front together. His fingers trembled as he slid the white material from his brothers shoulders, exposing the luscious skin. Their kiss broke and he leaned down, pressing soft kisses unto his mates soft shoulders. Sesshomaru groaned, grinding his hips downward, running his length along the fabric of InuYasha’s clothed leg.

It was almost to much for the hanyou. He would have ripped his brothers clothes clean off if not for the sucking and licking his brother was delving against his neck. It was making him weak everywhere and shudder with need. He felt his brother growl irritably at the red haori he wore, tugging at the red shirt. He lifted his torso of the branch of the tree, allowing the material to come over his shoulders and head before being tossed away into an unknown area.

Their bare chests’ touched as they dove in for another kiss, tongues playing along one another, dancing like a silken scarf crossing over soft skin. The broke apart, panting for breath, staring at one another. Both eyes, dead and alive, stared lovingly at one another. The heat within InuYasha’s body had registered on the Richter scale as a 10.0.

Sesshomaru slid down his brothers body, hating to have to abandon that sensual mouth, but there were more important matters that needed dealing with. His brother was well turned on, his shaft shuddering with need, twitching against his leg for want. He kissed down the exposed flesh, stopping at the naval ring to dip his tongue inside. He smirked when he heard a wanton intake of breath before a soft moan passed from above.

He delved deeper, sliding the loose pants from around his brothers shapely body, exposing the hardened member before him. He licked his lips, having wanted to taste that delicious treat for some time. He licked the precum that dripped down the sides, the tip quivering from the gentle touch. He heard another intake of breath and the softest of whimper. Without wait, he slid his mouth over the length.

InuYasha screamed his need, his hips arching into the welcoming mouth, digging deeper into the far recesses of the caverns surrounding him. He panted, his heat exploding within him, the boiling sensation in his loins agonizing. He knew it wasn’t just his shaft that needed the attention though. The heat within his body also rounded into his passage, the need to be filled more needing than his release.

“Please... just take me,” InuYasha whimpered out, squirming beneath the assault.

He gasped, the roughness of his brothers tongue running up the underside of his shaft and circling to slide across the tip and run down the front. The movement was slow and painfully pleasurable, making the young hanyou groan and growl with desire. He panted, pushing up onto his elbows as he watched, mesmerized by his brothers sleek movements. He smirked as perspiration slid down his toned chest, the wound board into his stomach crusting and healing oddly.

His loss of control swept through his body and he collapsed, his seed spilling within the waiting mouth, the tongue stroking up and down on its own accord like a massage, making him pump into the mouth, his seed draining off into nothing but quivering arms and legs.

Sesshomaru released the limping organ, not swallowing. He lifted his brothers hips and lowered his mouth to InuYasha’s entrance. He opened his mouth, the white seed sliding from his mouth and dripping onto the tight hole. Sesshomaru swallowed the rest, leaning up and capturing his brother in another heated kiss as one finger slid into the warm passage, heat exploding around his finger. He groaned at the feeling, swivelling his digit back and forth, pressing against the spot he knew so well.

InuYasha seized into his brothers embrace, panting heavily as he felt the finger prod at his prostate. He leaned against the well built chest, his arms sliding around the warm neck and tangling within the silver hair. He leaned forward, licking and kissing Sesshomaru’s neck, his fangs dragging across the soft flesh and over the mark he had left. One hand slid over the length of the long wings, brushing into the soft fur and feathers that adorned it.

Sesshomaru shuddered at the feeling of his large wings being caressed, grinding his hips down again, his large erection notable. He added a second finger and a third followed immediately, the entrance around his finger tightening and relaxing and tightening again. He pushed hard against the prostate within his brother, making the hanyou whimper and pant with need as he pushed down onto the prodding fingers.

His fingers slipped out and he pushed his mouth back onto InuYasha’s, ravishing his lips as he slipped his own pants down and kicked them away. He wrapped his brothers legs around his own waist and placed his free hand on the tree below, his claws digging into the hard bark.. His other hand was splayed into the silver hair as he pushed, his entire erection in, sliding heatedly into the soft body below.

He felt the walls around him squeeze and release over and over, making him shudder and groan. His lips never left InuYasha’s as he began to move, his hips rocking back and forth with slow ease. He could hear the moan of satisfaction as it reverberated into his mouth from his brothers, enticing him.

InuYasha groaned loudly, pulling out of the kiss he didn’t want to leave and arching closer to his brothers body, his organ becoming hard once again from the pleasure. White flashes sparked behind his eyes. He moaned, his head lolling to the side as he felt the heat become to extreme when his neglected erection was once again being stroked, the thrusts becoming increasingly quick as the need to release became stronger.

Sesshomaru leaned up to InuYasha’s ear. He took the soft furred dog ear into his mouth and sucked it, licking the outer rim and dipping his tongue inside. He felt InuYasha stiffen and heard a low growling moan escape. He released the now wet ear, letting a breath escape. He growled into the pointed dog ear, letting his voice roll over the white hair.

“Come withe me,” Sesshomaru whispered.

InuYasha could only manage a whimper as his brother squeezed him, his breath catching in his throat as he felt the heat within his body, explode and his vision blur. He could feel the sizzling of his brothers seed as his own was released a second time, spraying against Sesshomaru’s chest and his own.

He slumped down, pulling his brother with him after he withdrew, his head dripping milky-white liquid. They lay together, kissing and cooing gently to one another. InuYasha watched as Sesshomaru’s wings disappeared, dissolving into a flare of sparkling diamonds and stars.

“Beautiful...” InuYasha petted Sesshomaru’s damp hair. “Why the wings?

“I’m not sure. Father used to be able to produce wings on the red moon as well, but it is still unknown as to why,” Sesshomaru muttered, feeling himself nodding off.

InuYasha giggled. “To impress your mate.”

Sesshomaru smirked and rolled onto his back, pulling InuYasha with him to lay on top of him. He brushed a hand through the white mane of his brothers hair and pulled him down into a kiss as they began to drift into sleep. InuYasha’s heat began to steam away, but he could still feel need prodding at him as he fell peacefully in his brothers strong arms.

Note: So far I have noticed that most people want Mpreg. I'm still debating on whether or not to write the Mpreg just because I don't think I would be good to do it, but I might try. Within the next two chapters their going to be a surprise for you all so be reading for it. Sorry for the slow update. I just finished exams and I had a serious case of writers block. Thank you to all who reviewed for me.
