Chapter 10 Long Term Friends, Fights, and Rewards
Sesshomaru was busy working in his favorite place, his study when he heard a tentive knock on the door. “Enter.” Malachi did so with a sad, contemplative look on his face. “M’lord…I have some bad news.” Sesshomaru looked up into his friend’s eyes and seeing the look there paid full attention.
“Continue.”
“Four more females have disappeared from our area m’lord. Two were youkai abducted from our woods; two were the daughters of the headman of the closest village. The youkai were two different species a Panther and a Dryad.”
“Have any bodies been found or identified?”
“Unfortunately yes. The headman’s daughters were both strung out at the gate. And our hunters found the Panther demoness in the woods this morning. Sir…The villagers think that we did this to them; that we cast a curse upon them and they are being punished because of their connections to you. I do not know what to do Sesshomaru I am out of ideas. I sent out six good, strong demons, demon hunters, monks, a priestess, the best of the best and none of them returned. We think the reason he is getting careless with the bodies is because he is warning us. My men are scared for their wives, daughters, and mothers. I am at a lost as to what to do now. If something were to happen to our women…to Rin, I do not think I could live with that.”
Malachi finished his report and sank wearily into a chair. Sesshomaru took in his appearance, the lines on his face, the bags under his eyes, he looked malnourished as well, and he looked twice his age.
“Do not worry my friend. I am working on it. We will find him and we will get rid of this menace once and for all. What you need is some hot food, a hot bath, and a long rest.”
“Perhaps…on a brighter note. I hear you are mated…pray tell, who is it?” He asked with an unaccustomed twinkle in his eyes. “The new lady of the house is Rin. However you already know this.” He answered back smartly. “Indeed, I thought the look on Jaken’s face as he ran screaming through the corridors was quite funny, I also thought it best if you told me instead of being the presumptuous know-it-all that I am in your presence m’lord.” He laughed. “And what is so amusing?” Sesshomaru bit out tartly. “I just think it is about time. That is all. I am very happy for you my friend. I know that she will be good for you.”
“Truly? Malachi…What do you think took me so long?” “He stopped chuckling and regarded his Lord and friend seriously. “Maybe it was the fact that she always acted so young for her age. You were afraid of taking advantage of her, and you were not ready to let your feelings out in the open incase she rejected you. You also thought you were not deserving of something so wonderful, although she has matured well since your return both physically and mentally. M’lord if it is not to much to ask, what was it like?” Malachi was of course right. Voicing what Sesshomaru could not bring himself to say. He thought quietly for a while before answering
“It was…amazing. Like nothing I’ve ever done before. She was not like any other woman I have ever had. And I knew that when I took her, I wanted no one else. She is perfect in every way and she not only makes me happy, but my blood beast rejoices at our union as well. I know that I do not deserve something that pure and good for myself.”
“Aw…my old friend you sell yourself short. You more than deserve, and I could not think of a better person to take care of my little sister. Would you really have it any other way? Would you have done anything differently? Do you regret your actions? You can lie to me, but can you lie to yourself?”
“No I would have it no other way. She is mine and I’m hers and no one else may have her, no matter how undeserving I am. I would do nothing differently. And I have no regrets. I would never lie to you my friend, you are the only one I trust in this cruel world and I would not betray that.”
They sat in silence for a few moments, before Malachi tried to lighten the mood. “Sentiment from the Great Lord Sesshomaru? I think the end of the world is coming. Quick grab your things we can build a shelter before the sky falls on us.” “I am sure I have no idea what you are talking about.” Sesshomaru answered crisply. Suddenly he sat straight up and stiffened. “What is it Lord?”
“Be quiet!” he snapped as he focused his energy on locating Rin. She was backed up against the wall outside the East dojo, He looked quickly for whatever was causing her distress and growled when he heard the demons voice as if she were standing in front of him.

“You little whore! How dare you trick Lord Sesshomaru into mating you! A filthy, weak human. He would never willingly want you except for a lay! You will never be as good as me! You are a plaything. You will destroy him!” Sesshomaru felt a shift in emotions as he ran to help his Rin. Her helplessness gave way to a blinding rage. She responded with equal fervor to her challenger.
“You think so. That I am a whore, a lay? When I am the one who bears the Great Lord Sesshomaru’s mating mark. It binds us together for all eternity in body and soul. I will bear him strong pups and he will be proud of me. As for being weak, you forget that I now share his power and am a full demon. I have more power in my body than you will ever have! He chose me, not you! And you would do well to remember that I am the Lady of this household. You answer to me as I answer to Sesshomaru. You will adhere to your position. Do I make myself clear?”
Sesshomaru had stopped about 100 yards away and was taking in the scene with delight. His Rin was standing up for herself and he could not have been more proud of her. She was holding her own and remaining calm. Kamahi stared in shock. This ruined all her hard work and plans. With a scream of desperation she lunged at Rin and grabbed her upper arms as Sesshomaru started to leap to Rin’s aid. He felt himself being pulled back and snarled at Malachi who was holding him by the armor in place. His eyes flashed red. “Wait m’lord watch.” Sesshomaru stilled but stayed in a crouched position ready to spring at a moments notice, though his youkai was snarling at him to run swiftly to her side.
As fast as lightening Rin grabbed Kamahi’s arms and bringing her knee up to her stomach, flipped her in one smooth movement, so that she was standing on her back the maid’s face firmly planted in the dirt. “You bitch!” she snarled as she struggled to rise. Rin increased the pressure on her back not realizing how much power she was exerting. This was easy. “That is Alpha Bitch to you.” She countered smoothly. Sesshomaru could not have delivered it better himself. He wondered if Rin had realized that she had taken the highest compliment in the demon world. By claiming her role as Alpha she was stating that she was the strongest over all the other females and worthy to be his mate. She released the pressure on her back and let her up eyeing her warily. “You may go.” Kamahi ran off sobbing. Rin was elated. She had fought back and it had felt good. No one had to rescue her.
She did not have to look to see her beloved mate watching and she felt even better that he could witness her at her best. She ran to him as he straightened up, jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist. “Did I do good?” she asked like a child looking for praise. “You handled it very well.” “Malachi taught me that move this morning.” “Oh?” he arched an eyebrow. *(Cheeky bastard)* “Want me to show you some more?” she asked eyeing him sexily.
He smelled the spike in her scent She smelled so damn good. While he was applying small circles to her lower back, moving to cup her round cheeks firmly. Malachi had conveniently disappeared. Sniffing to make sure nothing would disturb them he carried her over to a large, ancient oak. She nibbled on his throat and she slipped down his body to rest firmly on the ground. She held up her hands and stepped back. She began slowly undressing while he leaned against the tree to watch. It was the first time she had removed her clothes for him and he was enjoying it. He found himself becoming harder at every creamy expanse of skin she uncovered. He found himself becoming impatient with her leisurely pace.
“Rin…” he growled just as the last garment fell in a pool at her feet. He stared at her. He knew he should have never let her out of his bed this morning. He began pulling at his armor. She came up flush against him and began to help while rubbing her heated flesh against him as much as possible. With an angry growl he ripped the last traces of covering from his body until he was as naked as she. Jerking her firmly against him till they were pressed tightly together no trace of space between them. He growled again and latched onto one of her already hard nipples and sucked greedily. She gasped and rocked her hips against him. “Sesshomaru…I need you…NOW!” The desperate command almost undid him.
His youkai was practically screaming at him. *(You stupid moron take her! She is your mate, she is in need!)* He held the voice at bay and turned her in his arms so that she was facing the tree. Amazingly there was a branch just low enough for her to bend over, so she did. This was to much for Sesshomaru, her beautiful ass in the air. He growled heatedly and grabbed her hips and pulled her hard against him at the same time thrusting up into her slick, hot cunt. He and his youkai moaned and thought. *(YES!)* Rin was holding on to the branch so tight that she thought she would break it. “Yes…Sesshomaru…Harder Kami PLEASE!” She was begging and wiggling and panting. He growled and lifted her slightly to get a better angle trying to be gentle, forgetting that she was now a demon as well. “Gods Sesshomaru…Faster…I will not break love.” That did it. He rammed into her mercilessly the blue-sky overhead and a beautiful woman underneath. He was in heaven and his demon agreed. “Sess....Sesshomaru…I’m…OHHH!!!”
“Whose bitch are you?” he growled huskily. “Yours.” She whimpered. “WHOSE BITCH ARE YOU?” He yelled at her. “SESSHOMARU!” She screamed as she gushed over him, her walls constricting and trying to pull him in a vice grip. “YES Rin!” He roared heavenward as he came, promising death to anyone that came near him and his mate. His eyes bled for a moment and he sank his fangs into her mark causing another intense orgasm to wash over her. The tightening in her walls immediately called to him and he found himself emptying more of his seed into her waiting womb. They sank down together to the ground the scratches healing and leaving their skin perfect. Sesshomaru glanced up and glared at the face that was smiling at him from the trunk of the giant oak. The tree winked and then the face disappeared. Sesshomaru settled Rin into his lap and they both savored the others company as Rin drifted in and out of daydreams her head lying on her mate’s chest.
