Chapter 12: A hug and a hyper introduction!
~*Inuyasha*~
Inuyasha lay in his bed for the rest of the night thinking. Why had Koga come after him? And why had Sesshomaru brought him here. He turned over in his bed and sighed.
“What the hell is going on?” he groaned as he thought about the past days events. He looked out the window next to his bed and stared absently at the night sky.
He wanted to know why Kagome and Kikyo were doing what they were doing all of the sudden. And why Miroku and Naraku were acting so friendly. He wanted to know why Sesshomaru and Koga were worried about him. Everything was all wrong. Sesshomaru, Koga and Naraku were supposed to be his enemies. Miroku and Kagome were supposed to be his friends, people that he could trust with his life. And Kikyo…He knew better than to say she was his friend. She was his enemy and he knew it. But he couldn’t help but feel betrayed by both herself and Kagome as well.
He sighed again and turned back over to face the door and go back to sleep.
“Good evening Inuyasha.” Said a straight-faced Sesshomaru the moment he turned around. Inuyasha almost hit the ceiling. He had been so deep in thought that he had not heard Sesshomaru coming in and pulling up a chair next to his bed.
Inuyasha clutched his chest and took in a few deep breaths.
“Don’t EVER do that again do you hear me you bastard?” he yelled as soon as he had calmed down.
Sesshomaru chuckled softly much to Inuyasha’s surprise. He glared at his brother.
“What is so funny Fluffy?” He said grinning.
He watched with a mild satisfaction as Sesshomaru tensed up and growled under his breath. He laughed out loud for the first time in awhile.
~*Sesshomaru*~
Sesshomaru growled despite the flutter in his chest and turned his back on the laughing Hanyou. He didn’t like being called Fluffy, but seeing Inuyasha laughing happily made him smile inwardly. He couldn’t help it, and he let out a small chuckle.
He chuckled more when he heard Inuyasha stop laughing suddenly in confusion. He turned back to face his brother and actually smiled.
The look on Inuyasha’s face was priceless. It was a mixture of absolute and utter horror with a mixture of amusement and a hint of delight. Sesshomaru knew that Inuyasha had always tried to make him smile when he was younger and he had finally succeeded when he wasn’t even trying. He smiled even bigger. His sudden show of emotion didn’t want to leave quite yet.
He leaned forward and embraced Inuyasha. He felt Inuyasha tense up as if wondering how to react to the absolutely horrifying behavior of his older brother. Sesshomaru closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He continued to hold his embrace as Inuyasha loosened a bit and actually hugged back shyly.
~*Koga*~
Koga watched from the slightly open doorway as Sesshomaru’s emotions let loose. Koga frowned. He wished then that he still had the comfort of his brothers from the wolf tribe. All he had left were two of his pack and they weren’t much company. He continued to frown as a slight pang of jealousy overtook him.
~*Miroku*~
Miroku looked up at Naraku as he was placed in his master’s bedchambers. He searched his eyes, trying to discover the reason that he had taken him from his situation with Inuyasha in the first place. He saw nothing but worry and annoyance in his face and so he looked down at his feet, suddenly very fascinated in them.
Naraku lifted up his face and smiled at him.
“I really wish that you hadn’t gone and done that Miroku dear. I was starting to think that you didn’t care for me.” Naraku pouted playfully. Miroku looked at him curiously.
“Of course I care for you. But he just looked so helpless. He has never acted like this before and I didn’t know what else to do.” He said looking guilty.
He looked back up at Naraku who was looking at him with a strange look on his face. Miroku smiled. He looked kind of cute. He suddenly leaned up and placed his lips softly against his and closed his eyes enjoying the sensation.
Suddenly, three girls came running into the room.
“Master Naraku! Master Miroku! Your Back! The three girls gathered around the two sweat dropping men with stars in their eyes.
“We’ve made a special dinner for the both of you. And we made a speciesseessert in honor of Lord Miroku’s return!” Exclaimed one of them excitedly.
Miroku started laughing. He never would have thought that servants of Naraku would be so hyper and cheerful. He stopped laughing and smiled at them.
“Thank you. I really appreciate the warm welcome back. Now may I ask what your names are? I believe I would like to get to know you each better.” He said with his normal Hentai grin on.
Naraku snorted and the three servant girls blushed.
“Don’t get carried away there Miroku. You mine remember?” He said with a wink, which made the girls all get sparkly-eyed and blush even deeper.
The girls all bowed deeply once they snapped themselves out of their trance like, googly-eyed state.
“My name is Rachel!” said the first girl stepping forward smiling and bouncing hyperly.
“My name is Charlotte!” said the second girl stepping forward and flashing a grin and winking.
“And my name is Eli!” said the third girl stepping forward and folding her arms cockily and casting a fake glare before grinning and winking just as Charlotte had done.
Miroku laughed and smiled at them.
“It’s very nice to meet each of you. I hope we all become good friends. I am pretty sure that I will be staying her for quite awhile. So we’ll have plenty of time to bond and spend tog together.” He said flashing his all famous smile.
The girls all giggled in delight and scrambled out of the room chattering away. Rachel poked her head around the doorframe again.
“And don’t forget about dinner you two!!” She said with an almost evil grin on her face. She ran away laughing crazily after her friends.
Miroku sweat dropped again and chuckled.
“That’s quite a group you have there Naraku.” He pointed out giggling. Naraku looked at him and nodded.
He leaned down over Miroku, pushing him down onto the bed and hovered just above his face. Miroku looked up at him, his expression now full of lust. He snaked his arms around Naraku’s neck and gently pulled him down to meet his body and lips.
