Chapter 12


I was awakened early the next morning in a very wonderful way. It took a few minutes for me to realize that the sweet feeling building inside of me was because InuYasha was sucking contentedly on my nipples as I slept. I slowly opened my eyes... I had thrown one hand behind my head, the other was up under my pillow sometime during the night and either InuYasha had pushed the blanket away from my slumbering body or it had slipped from me.

I slowly opened my eyes... I wanted to watch him... but I didn't want him to know it... don't ask me why... maybe I just needed to observe how he acted with me when I wasn't looking at him. His eyes remained closed and he sucked first one into his mouth... playing with it and swirling it on his tongue, then sucking it hard... then kissing it until I thought I would burst with need. Then he would go to the other one and do the same thing. More than once I witnessed his sweet, pink tongue lapping at me and I felt my insides nearly explode...

Closing my eyes again just to let the feeling wash over me... "Kagome? what's wrong?', he said worriedly and I startled and looked at him. "Say again?", I asked, for I truly felt I had closed myself up before he had come back into the room... my feelings of utter loneliness and hurt. "I said what's wrong with you?", he asked me and rubbed a lone tear from the corner of my eye. "Oh, InuYasha... I had an attack of yawning when you were in the bathroom... you didn't think you made me cry with your sweet loving this morning, did you?" I asked. He narrowed his eyes and looked at me... studying me closely and I let him... I felt he could read me inside out if he ed..ed... I supposed I would have told him anything he asked that day.

"No reason to cry, Kagome..." he smiled and tucked himself back into bed with me... his body was cold and he wrapped it tightly around me. 're're COLD, InuYasha... poor Baby!", I soothed as I pressed myself against him and he chuckled into my hair and gripped my ass, pushing me into him. "Not for long, baby... not for long!", he said and I laughed then... I was getting to know InuYasha quite well.

"I want you to know... it sounds fucking crazy, Kagome... but remember the first time we danced... at that restaurant... when I first met you?", he asked me... and I couldn't see his face, for he had me pressed so tightly against him. "Yes, InuYasha... I remember that quite well.", I said. "Well... I knew then... that I wanted to be with you... but I could tell... you'd never settle for it unless something changed... between myself and Kikyo...", he said. I must've stiffened for he pulled me closer and dug his nose into my hair... taking deep breaths of the scent. "No... I didn't break with Kikyo because of you... trust me... something had been brewing for a bit underneath at least two weeks before you came back to Japan... I just... I had no idea what it was... just knew it meant trouble.", he said.

I did know that I didn't wanted to ruin our time here together with talk of my sister. Trying to get them to stay together one night ago was quite different than now, when InuYasha and I were, in fact, lovers... together. I jealously guarded him now... felt he was mine and it would be only him that could break that bond. Still... hearing Kikyo's name... made me cringe... I didn't like to think of her making love with InuYasha... he was such a wonderful lover... and to imagine him with anyone... much less my very beautiful, very classy older sister... would kill me.

"We have to talk about this, Kagome... before you go back home... you know that!", InuYasha said softly. "I know, InuYasha... I know... I just... I don't want to do it here... in bed with you... couldn't we talk about it on the way back... we'd have two hours... right?', I asked him. He pulle bae back from him and looked into my eyes. "You know I want you... I want to be with you and only you... right?", he asked. I looked at his face and measured my words carefully.

"InuYasha... I don't really KNOW what you want... or what will happen when we return... only what I feel... you must see that with you being my very first 'real' lover... that I would place more importance on what has happened here in this place between us than someone like you would.", there, I'd said it. "What is THAT supposed to mean?', he asked and I smiled. "It's not an insult to you, InuYasha... not at all... it's just...the first time for anyone... but especially for a girl... well, I'll never forget you... or this... but I'm sure... and I know, you've had several lovers... and even tho I know you like me... you can't LOVE me... you WANT me, InuYasha... but that's my body... I know that... the sexual tension between us has been ten feet thick since we met... I felt it and I wanted you, no matter how much I denied it.", I said. "But I wanted you... I WANT you... the person, Kagome... I want us to do things together... play together... make love all the time when we're together... because I like... YOU as a person..", he said.

"We'll take it as it comes, InuYasha... I won't ever put demands on you... it was wrong of Kikyo to do that and back you into a corner... but I won't ever do that... I promise.", I said. "You think that's the only reason Kikyo and I broke up?", he asked me. "I don't know, InuYasha... and I don't really want to... that was between you and she... not you and I...", I said. "Well... I'll just fucking tell you!', he said and sat up in the bed... the blanket falling to his waist... his amber eyes wide and on me.

I wondered if he was mad... mad at me for refusing to listen to him about my sister and he. But I slowly sat up in bed next to him and pulled the blanket around my body. "Shit, Kagome... I'm sorry... you asked me to wait... not to discuss this HERE... here in bed with you... but I want you to listen to me... REALLY listen... because I don't want you thinking something about me that isn't true... do you understand me?", he said and turned himself to me.

"I DO understand, InuYasha... but... I don't want to talk about all that right now... Please... I just want to be with you as much as I can... that is, if that's what you want too.", I said. "Oh, Kagome, more than anything, baby... more than anything...", he whispered and slid closer to me... pulling the blanket from my upper body and then reaching for my hips as he slid me onto his lap.

"I want to do so much for you and with you before I have to l to to go back on the road...", he said as he buried his head in my breasts. "Then do it, InuYasha... just... do it..", I said as my fingers ran thru his hair. "The water... in that bathroom... is it warm... does the warm water work?", he asked me. "Yes... I got you all cleaned up with a warm cloth last night and you did the same for me this morning... remember?', I reminded him. He playfully smacked his forehead and grinned at me. "See? you got me in such a spin... I don't know what I'm doing!", he laughed.

He inched off the bed with me in his arms... and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he stood and took me into the bathroom with him. "Bath time for my sweetheart...", he smiled and let me slide myself from him. He reached into the shower and turned on both spigots full blast... then turned on the shower and let the dust that had settled there wash away. By some small chance a small bar of soap had been left in the stall and he pulled me in with him as he ducked under the spray of water. I laughed at him as he pulled me tight against him and kissed me under the water. His tongue dove in and out of my mouth and I found myself nearly breathless with wanting him.

He had reached behind him to grab the bar of soap and he let me go for a minute as he pushed the soap forward and back in his hands to create a thick citrus scented lather. We moved out of the stream of water... well... he pushed me toward the back wall and grinned at me again. "Gonna wash each other...", he said and I nearly fainted right there...
