A familiar Stranger

“So spill then, have you?” Kagura said with interest in her voice.
“I have once…” Kaida said blushing.
“Oh my god!” Kagura said with a smile on her face.
“Kagura,” said a boring voice, “kept our guest comfortable have we?” Naraku said as he walked over to both of them. Kagura quickly got up and walked away not looking back at Kaida.
“The hell do you want?” Kaida said standing up. Her wings had gone numb from the pain and she ignored it more easily now.
“He’s coming for you, you know.” He said, a deadly smile cutting across his serious face, and he had some kind of tea in his hands.
Kaida’s face froze in fear.
“Sesshoumaru?” She said already knowing the answer.
“Inuyasha and his group are coming also. Seems your going to be the key to the destruction of my enemies.” With that, he reached through the barrier and wrapped Kaida, binding her hands to her sides again.
“You’re going to lose everyone you’ve ever loved for the second time.” He said making her drink the nasty tea.
“Oh, don’t worry, it won’t kill you. Just paralyze you and your vocal cords…”

She woke up in thrdenrdens of Naraku’s castle. She was lying on her side and when she tired to get up, none of her muscles obeyed her. That’s when she heard it, Tetsusaiga breaking through the barrier. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the barrier dissolving around Naraku’s castle. She desperately tried to move, or make some sort of noise. She took a deep breath trying to figure out which way her friends, her mate, where coming from. When she did, she noticed Naraku’s smell the strongest underneath her. Looking down, she saw Naraku’s tentacles under her, hiding by a patch of small dirt. Naraku was behind about 500ft behind her in his usual baboon self.
‘It’s a trap.’ She thought to herself. A menacing wind blew around her and some dirt got into her nose, making her cough. Sesshoumaru picked this up instantly and ran straight for where he was sensing she was. That’s when she saw him, Inuyasha and his group behind. They were coming straight for her.
“nige…” she barely said above a whisper. Sesshoumaru so overwhelmed by rage, didn’t hear her.
“Nigeteee…” She said in her normal voice with tears in her eyes. Had Sesshoumaru heard something? He could feel she was scared, and he wanted to help her just like he had done last time…he wanted to feel her hands on his back…(nigete: get away/run away)
“NIGETEEE!!” She screamed at the top of her lungs. Naraku was taken aback by Kaida’s screams. ‘The tea couldn’t have worn off so quickly can it? No, she still isn’t moving.’ He pondered. Hearing Kaida’s scream and sudden surge of panic, Sesshoumaru stopped but Inuyasha kept going. Naraku’s roots popped out of the blue from the earth, throwing Kaida directly behind Naraku, and sending Inuyasha flying off into some random direction. Sango and Miroku got off Kirara, while Shippo went to hide somewhere. Kagome was slightly behind them, waiting fouyasuyasha to return. Sesshoumaru was a couple of steps in front of everyone. They all waited for the dust to settle before Naraku spoke.
“So, this is what it all comes down too.” He laughed his psychotic laugh “The two brothers getting revenge for women they so adored.” Naraku was so intent on not fumbling his speech, he didn’t notice Kagura giving the antidote for the herbal tea he had given Kaida behind him.
“Naraku you bastard! YURUSANEE!”(yur..=won’t forgive you) Inuyasha said screaming heading straight for Naraku. That’s when he grabbed Kaida and put her out in front as a shield. Kaida, not being able to move quiet yet, hung there with her arms dangling and watched Tetsusaiga coming closer. Inuyasha had planned on hitting Naraku somewhere else when he saw him pull Kaida in front of him, but Sesshoumaru blocked his attack using Toukijin.
“Naraku is my prey, DON’T FORGET THAT HANYOU!” he screamed at him using sword pressure to push Inuyasha back.
‘I can almost move….’ Kaida said feeling her muscles respond to her orders. Everything was going as Naraku planned. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha would be so busy fighting each other on who was going to kill him that he would have no problem killing everyone else. But Kaida changed those plans, with a splurge of energy, she whipped around and threw an energy blast at him. It wasn’t big enough to cause any damage, but it did cause Naraku to drop her to get out of the way. Kaida hit the ground and was struggling to get to her feet. Sesshoumaru not missing a second of what was going on, ignored Inuyasha’s wild slashing and quickly went to Kaida’s side.
“Sesshoumaru…” Kaida said, she wanted to thank him, tell him to get away. She was about to say something when he quickly scooped her up in his arms as a Naraku Root smashed where they had been. He swiftly dropped her off near Kagome and went to rejoin the battle. Knowing Naraku had the jewel, Miroku held off from using his Air-void. (not to mention there were a lot of those poison bugs around) Sango and Kirara were doing theair air share of slicing Naraku up.
“Kaida are you all right?” Kagome said running over to where Sesshoumaru dropped her.
“I’ll be fine.” She said to a worrisome looking Kagome. She looked over and saw what was happening. Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, Miroku and Sango where all doing there best. ‘They’re not going to win…’ Kaida thought sadly though. Naraku was simply too much. No matter how much they would slice and cut, he simply rejoined hif. f.
“INUYASHA!” Kagome screamed as she saw him get wrapped in one of Naraku’s roots. She quickly ran over, intending to help, but Naraku saw her and hit her dead on.
“KAGOME!” Inuyasha screamed helplessly as he watched as the miko hit a tree and slump on the ground. Inuyasha wriggled but he could not get out of Naraku’s grip.
“This is the end for you.” Naraku said. Kagome opened her eyes in time to see Inuyasha’s neck being broken.
“IINUYASHAAAAA!!!!”
A lifeless Inuyasha sed ted to the ground. Tetsusaiga returning to its normal state in his hands. This made everyone stop what they were doing, including Sesshoumaru. This gave Naraku the time he needed to wrap everyone else except Sesshoumaru who saw the attack coming. Kaida was still on her knees with her fists on the floor, she could hardly move, let alone be helpful.
‘What can I do?!’ Kaida said to herself, tears starting to swell up in her eyes. She suddenly heard a ‘ttthhhwwaaak’. She looked over at the tree she was next too. Tetsusaiga was imbedded in the trunk. ‘I didn’t even call for it…’ she looked around, and saw Kagura. She had used her wind to throw the sword to her. This was her chance. She grabbed Tetsusaiga and transformed it. Using it like a crutch she positioned herself in front of Naraku and in front of Inuyasha. Naraku had been to busy trying to kill Sesshoumaru to notice Kaida putting herself in front of him.
‘Sesshoumaru…I need the Tenseiga…’ she said to him through their bond.turnturned around and saw her with the Tetsusaiga. Was she really going to use them? He quickly threw Tenseiga to her and she caught it in mid-air. Naraku, curious to see why Sesshoumaru had randomly thrown a sword, saw Kaida.
“This is for all the times you made me kill…for all the pain you’ve caused…for all the lies…” a strange purple aura was surrounding Kaida and for the next moments, Sesshoumaru could only sense ruthless and relentless anger coming from her. She ran straight toward him, crossing the two swords again, ‘kagome, inuyasha, sesshoumaru, miroku, sango, for you…my son’ she thought charging head on into Naraku. Sesshoumaru saw her as she slightly changed her form…she had dark purple, almost b, sc, scales in certain areas and her wings had grown slightly larger, (even though they were broken) and her facial features were more reptilian like. Before crashing into Naraku, she jumped up in front of him and uncrossed the two swords, engulfing everyone in the perimeter.
