The Beginning

AN:: Sorry for the length of time since updating, but I had surgery and I've been kinda out of it. But here is the new chapter now! I don't have much time, but I will try to give you at least a good chapter.

 

Sesshomaru and Rin arrived back to the castle, and he laid her sleeping body on his bed. He knew that her room was simply across the hall, but he didn't want her too far away from him right now. After all, she had just been abducted. He couldn't be too careful with his young, beautiful, voluptuous--wait! Stop! Why was he thinking of her this way?

He wasn't like his father. 

But he knew, he had a decision to make. He knew that he needed to choose. He could be like his father, and choose Rin as his mate...but then, what would happen to his pride? 

Sesshomaru sighed. He was the great Lord of the Western Lands. He shouldn't be having doubts and confusion right now! He had lands to rule. And, whether he wanted to admit it or not, he did....hold feelings for her.

He knew she would be a good mate. And he also knew that she was in love with him. The question was: was he actually in loved with her? He sighed again. He noted that he was sighing a lot more than normal lately. He could only associate that with Rin.

But as he looked upon her sleeping face, and heard her breathe out his name, subconsciously, his decision was made.
