Disapproving her avoidance he growled. The low vibrations attacked Kagome’s core, causing rippling effects to course through her body. Noticing her shiver he instinctively wrapped his strong arms around her almost bare self.

He was so warm. Her body shut her mind off to enjoy the strength and security he offered since she felt without either. He took a hand to lift her chin, meeting golden eyes with hers of glistening chocolate.

“Kagome, you don’t have to feel threatened or embarrassed in my presence.”

She smiled sweetly.

“There is not much more you can do to surprise this Sesshoumaru anyhow.”
