These Saimyosho are pissing me off!" Inuyasha railed.

"These wasps are annoyances," Sesshomaru said and killed another with his whip.

"What I want to know is why there are so many of them," Miroku said smacking several back with his staff. "He couldn't be that obsessed with finding Kohaku."

"Stand back..." Haruka instructed and drew out a strange looking weapon. She spun it and it generated electricity and the attacked fried the insects.

"Huh, wondered what that strange weapon was," Inuyasha let out.

"Our people call it a 'bat'leth'(1)," Haruka answered and returned it to its resting place. "You earn one as a young tiger after doing something either brave, heroic, stupid, or you save the life of someone important in our clan."

"Most intriguing," Sesshomaru commented and Rin came out from her hiding place on Sesshomaru's back.

"Feh, the monk is right though, why the hell are these stupid pests looking for Kohaku?" Inuyasha questioned.

Hakudoshi road atop Moryomaru, looking for that brat Kohaku. He growled in frustration wishing that Naraku would do a better job with keeping up with his slaves.

"Found anything?" Kagura asked coming along side the pair.

"No, you?"

"No. I think the brat has disappeared."

'Grrr, where did that kid go! and How did he not die when whoever took the shard from him took the shard.'

"Finally, no more buts," Haruka growled. Inuyasha rolled his eyes watching his brother sniffing the air.

"What?" the half dog asked in annoyance.

"This scent...it's...one of ours." he said.

"Huh?" Inuyasha asked confused and began sniffing the air himself and picked up the same. "So, it's another dog...no, that ain't a full dog demon, it's half dog and half wolf!"

"Half dog and half wolf?" Miroku asked never hearing of interbreeding between demon species.

"Wolf..." Sesshomaru began and sniffed one more time and picked up what his brother had picked up. "Tamoka."

"Tamoka?" Inuyasha asked.

"The last time I smelt her was when I was a pup, but her scent hasn't aged...strange."

"Sealed away perhaps?" Miroku offered.

"The monk may be correct, but I think we now know where the slayer boy is."

"Where!" Sango demanded.

"With the wolf dog demon." Sesshomaru answered. "She is a cousin of ours."

"What? We've got other family?"

"First and only pup of our uncle, he and his mate were killed by the one that held the position of Alpha before our father took over our clan."

"Damn flee didn't tell me any of this." Inuyasha grumbled.

'The flee hasn't informed him that I haven't officially kicked him out of the clan?' Sesshomaru thought. He had not gone through with it due to the fact that he would have to gather the entire clan for such a thing and there was one female dog he didn't want to see...especially now that he had a human mate. His mother wouldn't approve of it.

"Damn flee, wonder what else he didn't tell me." he growled. Sesshomaru closed his eyes. He would have to make a decision soon on this matter.

'Poor boy,' Tamoka thought looking down at the sleeping boy, 'he's been through too much. I'll take care of you my future mate,' she mused.

"What troubles my mate?" Rin asked as she cuddled with him in the warm water of the springs.

"I am conflicted, Rin."

"Why?"

"Pack law dictates that Inuyasha, being the younger son, is my Beta male and second in charge of the clan. I must kick him out in front of our entire pack if I want him ousted fully. However, I have a human mate that may or may not produce all half demon pups. I don't wish to look hypocritical on this matter, Rin. I have made a promise to cherish all that comes from you. With Inuyasha, I felt replaced. He was a better pup because his birth was from a true mate pair."

"What will you do then?"

"I have no choice, I must tell him, but I don't know how to explain it to him since he was raised outside the influences of our clan. He may not understand, Rin," he finished and Rin started caressing the tips of his ears and the dog demon relaxed into her touch. He lovingly stroked her cheek and R9n smiled at her demonic lover.

'This is getting ridiculous! Where is he? I've lost a lot of my wasps because of this! Most of them were killed by Inuyasha's group...wait a minute...I'll just have them find Kohaku for me. What better hunter is there than a half dog demon and a full dog demon?' Naraku mused to himself. He relaxed. He would soon have the boy back and would rid himself of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.

"I don't understand, why did Kikyou do that," Inuyasha complained.

"It was the only way to make sure that Sango's brother would live," Haruka comforted.

"I know, but..."

"You wanted her to tell you before she did it."

"Yeah! She's always done that. She always does something without at least telling me that she's going to do it!"

Haruka giggled, "I think she just like seeing how much she could wind you up. I think deep down she wanted to be rutted by you."

Inuyasha sighed, "she hid it well."

"What is it going to take to kill this spider demon?"

"I hate to admit this and if you tell him I'll deny I said it, but it'll take me and that ass of a brother to kill him. He don't have an attack that my backlash wave could turn against him, my wind scar can do only so much. Sesshomaru's new sword cuts and the wound doesn't heal."

"You are actually appreciative of..."

"Don't you dare say anything further on that." he growled and she giggled. The two didn't notice Kagome watching and observing them. She needed to know how and why the tiger liked him and if she did want to stay with him or was this just a friends with benefits relationship. Either way, Sango and Miroku were right. His temper wasn't as bad as normal. She wouldn't give up yet though. She had made mistakes and she was gong to correct them as soon as she could.
