Chapter 10

“Quick,” Inuyasha yelled as he and Sesshomaru dodged the demon snake only for the demon snake to go for Sesshomaru as he was still slightly pink from Harry’s last prank.
“What the hell is a giant snake doing here?” Inuyasha asked as Sesshomaru dodged the snake's attacks.
“At the moment this Sesshomaru doesn’t care,” Sesshomaru said as he attacked the giant snake, bringing it to the ground.
Using their superior skills Sesshomaru and Inuyasha soon defeated the giant snake in a matter of seconds only for the snake to get back up.
“How the hell does it keep getting up?” Inuyasha asked as the giant snake got up from the ground and started to attack them once again.
With an angry growl Sesshomaru pulled out a normal sword and used it to attack the giant snake only for the sword to react like it was hitting steel.
“This is no ordinary snake,” Sesshomaru said as he jumped back to where Inuyasha was standing.
“You think?” Inuyasha asked with bite as they dodged the snake’s giant tail, “Any ideas on how we can kick its butt?”
Before Sesshomaru could attack once again the old woman from before stood between them and in front of the giant snake.
“Get out of here old woman,” Inuyasha shouted as he dodged another attack.
The old woman didn’t listen to either one of them but just stood there. Once the snake had moved so it was standing in front of her the old woman began to chant causing the giant snake to glow in a whiteish-yellowish light.
“What the hell’s going on?” Inuyasha asked Sesshomaru who was looking at the old woman in shock.
“It’s her,” Sesshomaru said with unusual wide eyes, “The old woman from the legends, one of the legendary Miko’s, Sakai.”
“She’s one of them?” Inuyasha asked with wide eyes as the old woman, now Sakai, finished her chant and with her Miko powers the giant snake disappear only leaving a single fang behind.
Sakai slowly walked forward and picked up the fang from the giant snake and walked up to the shocked brothers.
“I think this will help you when wooing your stubborn mate,” Sakai said with a winkled grin, “Give him that the next time you see him and you’ll be glad that you did.”
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru could only watch with shocked faces as Sakai walked away and back into her house.
They stood there in shock and it wasn’t until the first light of morning hit them that they had realized just how long the battle with the giant snake and the discovery about Sakai had lasted.
“You got dating tips from an old woman who’s properly old enough to be your mother!” Inuyasha said between laughs at his older brother who just ignored him to look at the fang.
“Unlike my idiotic half breed of a brother this Sesshomaru knows when to listen to his elders and betters,” Sesshomaru said as he turned around and started to walk towards the house.
“What the-“ Inuyasha started to say only to be thrown through trees like the other day.
“Don’t swear around the children,” Harry muttered as he slowly walked past them and towards the village.
“Where are you going this fine morning?” Sesshomaru asked as he tried to make small talk with his mate while being careful with his new clothes.
“To get some milk, we're all out,” Harry said as Sesshomaru followed him.
Soon the two found themselves outside what seemed to be a barn.
“We are getting the milk ourselves?” Sesshomaru asked with a slight nervous look as they walked into the barn and towards the cows.
“That’s right,” Harry said simply while a plot was forming in his mind.
“Hey Harry!” Dean, another kitsune called out as he stood up from milking another cow which he had been at for a few hours now, “You need some more milk with those kids around?”
“That’s right though you go and have a break as I’ve already got someone to help me out,” Harry said getting a shocked look from Sesshomaru and a thankful look from Dean.
“Thanks Harry, this will mean one less cow for me to milk,” Dean said as he stood up and moved to put the milk from the cow he had just milked away, “You know to mark the cow you milk alright?”
“Yup, I know what to do, you showed me before remember?” Harry said with a butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth look.
“Alright I’ll be back in a bit, got to put this milk into the storage,” Dean said as he motioned to a couple of large and full milk buckets,” You two will be alright by yourselves?”
“We’ll be fine Dean,” Harry said as he picked up a milk bucket and guided Sesshomaru to one of the more...temperamental dairy cows.
“Just what am I suppose to do?” Sesshomaru asked as he eyed the cow carefully.
“I thought that was obvious,” Harry said with a grin, “You sit down on this little stool, place the milk bucket under its tit’s and start milking.”
Sesshomaru’s eyes went wide as he found himself being sat down on the stool, “You expect this Sesshomaru to milk a cow?”
Sesshomaru watched as his mate gave a cheeky nod.
“If Dean can do it you can, Dean’s an idiot at anything BUT at milk and cow’s,” Harry said which Sesshomaru thought was to be in a comforting manner only it didn’t seem like it.
Slowly and using his years on the battle field as experience Sesshomaru grabbed the cow’s first tit only to find himself being kicked by the cow and thrown out of the barn and through some trees until he ended up outside of Harry’s house.
Snickering, Harry got to work milking the cow and got the milk he needed just as Dean was walking into the barn with a horse.
“Errr…Dean?” Harry said to get Dean’s attention, “Do you really think its smart for you to be handling any animals other then cows?”
The next thing that anyone knew was that Dean had followed Sesshomaru’s path and was now lying next to the dog demon.
Harry snickered to himself as he walked back up to his house and meet Sesshomaru half way.
“I thought you were supposed to be my mate? My dominate mate?” Harry asked innocently.
“I am…” Sesshomaru said slowly as he eyed his mate, sensing that he wasn’t going to like where this was going.
Harry made a mock suffering sigh, “Then you’re not doing a very good job of proving you can provide food and drink for me and maybe our children now are you?”
A madly giggling Harry left a shocked Sesshomaru standing in the middle of the road as he walked back to his house.
