Lin and Sesshoumaru found Hideharu sitting in his room. He was reading a scroll and writing upon it. Lin hadn’t seen his brother look so distraught.

“Hideharu…”

Hideharu fell upon his knees tears down his face.

“My brother I have shamed you. I do not deserve life. Here is my final request.”

Lin looked at the note and knew that one who feels like they dishonored ones family would usually commit suicide by sword. That is what this was, but Lin did not desire this.

“Hideharu, you will not take your life. You will face your punishment like a warrior and leave here as such.”

Lin stated firmly and Sesshoumaru frowned at the man grasping the scroll ripping it in two.

“If you think death will save you from me you are sorely mistaken. Twenty lashes and you will remain here afterwards to think upon your brash actions toward my mate. I was going to be merciful and offer banishment from the west to remain in the south, but this has swayed my decision. You cannot be trusted to yourself.”

Sesshoumaru was furious. How dare this bastard think he could escape pain and humiliation after he had done such to Shippo? Not to mention he was no longer a Lord and therefore at his brother’s mercy.

“Lord Sesshoumaru, I ask you for mercy upon my fool brother. Instead of whipping him, take him as your servant and I shall compensate you for your troubles.”

Lin stated softly. There was nothing else he could offer Hideharu then this option.

Hideharu wanted to beg to not be left to such a fate, but it would have some honor if he did stay and serve the Lord of the West. He might even be able to redeem himself through such servitude.

“Very well Lin, but for now he will remain here until I find a place for him. I owe you a favor so consider us even in this action. There is one consideration however, I will indeed take Shippo as my ward as payment for this action.”

Lin nodded. He would have given anything else, but this was fair and Shippo really didn’t know his family. He knew the Tashio’s well.

“What of the mating with Fuu?”

Sesshoumaru looked back at Lin.

“Nothing will change. He is my ward and you may still claim him as family. He just will remain here at this castle until your builders have completed his lodging and then we will negotiate a time table so that he may stay with you for a certain amount of time. I am not an ogre.”

Lin sighed. He was afraid that he would lose his nephew for good.

As the two men contemplated Hideharu’s fate, Inuyasha and Kouga were doing some serious talking.

“I can’t believe that asshole is going to let that unicorn have you, but I can’t touch you. A servant of all people.”

Kouga roared.

“Kouga calm yourself and let me request his presence then you will see why. Besides you can’t keep me and that is your problem. You would want me to come back to your stinky ass caves and live with you and I can’t. Thoren is here and believe me you will understand when you see him.”

Kouga snorted.

Inuyasha looked at Kouga like he wanted to kick him in the head.

Inuyasha called for Thoren to come to the sewing room. Thoren had been in the middle of a cleansing ritual when his presence was requested so he was still a bit wet with his silky white robes leaving little to the imagination. Kouga gave him the once over as Inuyasha bid Thoren to sit at his feet.

Letting go of Thoren’s ears he pulled Thoren against his lap.

“Ya whatever………what do you need me around for as a friend when you got your pretty toy Inuyasha? When did you become such a girl?”

Kouga wanted Inuyasha to act like he used to, instead Inuyasha felt tears sting his eyes.

“I chose not to fight anymore, can’t you understand that?! Can’t you understand that maybe I want to be taken care of for a change?!”

Kouga frowned wanting to curse himself.

“Look I am sorry. I am sorry for upsetting your friend too. It is just that I miss the old you.”

Kouga stated grumbling.

Inuyasha was handed a kerchief from Thoren who frowned at the wolf.

“Permission to speak my Lady……”

Inuyasha nodded to Thoren.

“I also recall those times Prince Kouga. I recall those days when my unicorns would run. Then they ran to save themselves since your packs used us for sport. Even with the little we had to defend ourselves I wasn’t the only one to suffer casualties, but unlike you we do not breed like rabbits.”

Kouga smirked.

“No, your kind doesn’t breed fast, but pretty boy you didn’t have to for me to catch you. I remember you too.”

Thoren looked away frowning.

“That is it try to pretend you don’t know me anymore. I never made any promises of mercy, but I did call off my wolves for you. Your stupidity was allowing them to continue to come into territories that belonged to my people.”

Thoren’s eyes filled with tears.

“You overran the lands along with others. We had no place else to go.”

Inuyasha frowned at Kouga.

“Look, it was either us or those bird brains. I am sorry about the past ok?”

Thoren nodded, but none the less still felt cheated.

“I have come to this because of the loss of my home. I am a mere servant, but at least I was given an honorable position and cared for. Here I am welcomed and my people are safe.”

Kouga nodded and knelt down to wipe away a few tears from the unicorn’s face.

“I never forgot your beauty and you are a strong stallion. You are the strongest of your kind. You still fascinate and enthrall Thoren. I did and still do adore you.”

Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

“Look, nice reunion, but fact is you are here. You are going to be mine so quit flirting with the wolf. He will give you a disease, it is called stupidity.”

Thoren laughed and Kouga smirked.

“Don’t listen to mutt face. He has fleas.”

Inuyasha sighed and started to braid Thoren’s hair.

“Remember Kouga he is mine.”

Kouga sat back in the chair.

“I still say it is lame that you get him, but I can’t have a piece of you Inuyasha. I knew you first.”

Sesshoumaru came in at that moment.

“Wolf, I see you have met Thoren. Good, now you may leave.”

Kouga got up.

“Fine, I am going, but I tell ya I could do more to make you both howl than any horse could.”

Sesshoumaru smirked.

“I will keep that in mind young Kouga.”

Inuyasha was having fun with Thoren until Sesshoumaru ushered both of them out of the room.

“I am in need of stress relief. You both shall make this Sesshoumaru very pleased or I shall take the wolf up upon his offer.”

Inuyasha snorted.

“Ya right. You will get moronaphobia hanging out with that bastard. I think I already am suffering from his influence.”

Thoren cracked a smile as he was also ushered into the bedroom.

“Thoren strip Inuyasha and then you shall strip me.”

Thoren did as he was told using his soft hands to slowly remove clothing kissing each part of flesh that came into view.

“We shall both have him Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha moaned as Sesshoumaru moved behind Thoren and slowly removed every inch of his thin silk clothing. Then he ran his clawed fingers over that incredible ass.
