Chapter 11: Confessions
Kagome sighed. She had made up her mind while she was sitting on his lap, drinking coffee. He was her match. Her mother used to talk about her father that way, before he had died. He was her mothers’ match in every way. Sure, they would disagree, but where was the fun, she would tell Kagome, in always getting along? It would have made life easier, but where was the challenge to better yourself, and another in the process?
She looked into Sesshomaru’s eyes. Her heart, body, mind and soul belonged to this youkai. He brought her pleasure, and peace. She liked to believe she did the same for him. So, to be certain, she asked him, “Do you truly believe that you will care for me when I am old, and you are still young? When I die, and you continue to live.” She was cut off by his fingers over her mouth.
“Koibito when we mate, not if, when.” He heavily emphasized. “It will be forever. You will have the choice of staying human, but taking on my eternal life. Or, you could become Youkai, like me. Taking on similar attributes to mine, but retaining any or all of your spiritual power. We will not be separated by death.” He nuzzled her ear. “I will never let you go.” He purred, kissing her neck.
Kagome shivered and groaned. ‘I haven’t even told him yes yet!’ She continued to shiver as his hands trailed over her hips, gently pulling her closer to him.
Sesshomaru continued to rub her hips and thighs, holding her more firmly against as he kissed, licked, and nuzzled her neck, making her moan more.
He slowly pulled away, and set her up on her feet. “I believe we had best go, before I forget my promise, and take you here.” He said huskily as he stood up beside her.
He clasped her hand once more, and slowly drew her towards the door.
Kagome was in a sensual daze. She wanted for him to do more than just pet her! But he was trying to be noble and wait for her decision.
‘Silly ass!’ she thought. ‘Little does he realize that he can take me right now, and I would be so deliriously happy!’
Sesshomaru ushered her into the limo, and got in beside her. He was so hot for her! ‘I probably could have taken her, right then, upstairs. But, the decision was hers to make. I have made mine, now I must wait for hers.’
They were both silent as the limo drove back to Kagome’s. When the limo stopped, Sesshomaru helped Kagome from the car, and walked her to her door.
“Thank-you for the decadent dinner Sesshomaru.” Kagome said shyly.
“You’re welcome, Kagome.” He replied, humor in his tone.
‘If I don’t do this now, I never will!’ Kagome thought. She reached up to his face, and had both palms cupping his cheeks, taking him by surprise. She pulled him down into her kiss. This was the kiss that she wanted to give him before dinner. Rough. She could feel his arms encircle her, to draw her closer. He stopped and tried to pull away.
“I will not force you.” He said.
“You may not force me, but I will certainly try with you.” She said daringly, trying to pull him close again.
“Kagome, please no. I don’t think I could stop.” He said in a rough voice, holding her still.
Kagome sighed, and stepped back. “Do you still want for me to be your mate?” she asked boldly.
Sesshomaru blinked at her, and frowned. “Of course I still wish to have you as my mate.”
Kagome drew herself up to her full height. “Then, Sesshomaru Tashio, Tai Youkai and Lord of the Western Lands, I Kagome Higourashi, do accept your suit to become my mate. I have only one condition.” She said proudly.
Sesshomaru was shocked to say the least. He had been hoping for this, but he believed it would be a long way off. “Yes, Kagome Higourashi, what is your condition?” He said seriously.
She took a deep breath. ‘Here goes!’ she thought.
