Breaking of A "True" Heart

A/n: This is going to be one Helluva short chapter Sorry guys it's working up to something bigger and rather twisted and dark. Fair warning the next chapter is not going to be for those Inuyasha lovers out there Because Sango is going to do some serious Damage to the Hanyou! You've been Warned.

Sango, Shippo and Shelia sat around Kagome's bed listening to her story about what had happened with her step father, Inuyasha's part in sending her to Sesshomaru. The things she had to under go while she was trapped in the basement of the club. No one said a single word as Kagome finished her tale, she looked away fearing that her friends would think she was disgusting now. "It's why I could never tell you the truth Sango, It's why I was so furious when you were speaking to my mother. I was afraid if you knew what happened to me..you'd think I was impure"

Sango reached out taking Kagome's hand firmly in her own. Squeezing her sister's fingers lightly. "Kagome obviously you are not impure other wise you would've not been the guardian of the Jewel what you feel is your own guilt eating away at your insides. It's not your fault what your bastard of a step father did to you don't put the full blame on yourself please"

Looking up to meet Sango's stare she saw the truth in her sister's eyes, tears started to slowly flow down her cheeks as she broke down into weak sobs. "Im so ashamed of myself Sango. I love him so much yet all he can do is abuse me and treat me like im lower then dirt. I don't know what to do anymore I hate Sesshomaru for making me feel like this him and Inuyasha both!"

Moving closer to Kagome, Sango wrapped her arms around the Inu miko hugging her tightly. Whispering softly trying to sooth the girls heart wrenching sobs, fury blazing in her eyes. "Shh it's alright now. I won't allow him to hurt you anymore this I promise"

Kagome nodded weakly before pulling away, grasping her friends shoulders in sudden alarm. "He'll come for me he'll hurt you all for taking me from him. I can't bare the thought of him hurting you for saving me from myself"

Sango shook her head, pushing Kagome down on the bed. "Sleep Kagome, Shippo and Shelia will stand guard outside your room tonight. I'll stay with you until you fall asleep this I swear"

She nodded, her eyes shifting to look at the shocked face of Shelia. "Im sorry for what he did to you Shelia you being tortured in such ways was all my fault"

Shelia stood then, moving quickly to the other side of the bed patting Kagome's hand tenderly. "No Kagome it's not your fault I had no right to blame you when I did not know the full truth or damage you have been put through in your life"

Shippo too moved closer to the bed, kneeling down so he could look at his adopted mother with a tender gaze. "Mother no matter what has happened to you I think of you all the same nothing will ever change my mind or tilt my hand in another way. You are truely a wonderful and great person. Sesshomaru's mind must be twisted from when he chased his ward from him he's brought your pain and misery down on his own head. Please rest now we won't leave your side ever again no matter what happens"

Giving Shippo a soft smile Kagome nodded, rolling over to slowly allow her eyes to drift shut. In a matter of seconds the exhausted woman was in a dead sleep.

Sango stood there quietly looking down to her sleeping friend and one she considered a sister. Her fist clenched as she growled. "Shippo, Shelia I need you to promise me you'll stay here with her. I have a Hanyou bastard that needs to be taken care of"
Shippo looked up quickly staring at Sango, he had only seen the demon slayer once this mad..it was when Naraku had been flaunting his control of her brother in her face. "Sango what are you planning on doing?"

Moving towards the bedroom door she stopped, frame quivering with undisgused rage. "Shippo perhaps it's better if you did not know what my intentions were towards the Hanyou you would not approve of my thoughts just tell Kagome if she wakes before I return that Im out patrolling the grounds to make sure she is kept safe"

Shippo swallowed the lump that formed in his throat like a dead weight, he knew Sango was planning on doing something horrible to the hanyou that had brought his adopted mother so much pain he knew deep down he should've felt bad for Inuyasha but he could not even feel such emotions. "Alright Sango, give him a few licks for me also"

She gave a curt nod, pulling the door open before quickly leaving the bedroom. Her mind playing over the different ways she would make Inuyasha suffer at her hands. All of the thoughts brought a rather sinister dark smirk to her lips. "Inuyasha what Naraku has done in the past is going to seem like heaven compared to what I plan on doing to you"
