When Naraku took his heart out which became the baby, so he couldn't die, not to mention he was able to attack Kikyou; he soon after made Mouryoumaru. In the manga the baby is hidden within Mouryoumaru, so to kill Naraku they have to get to the baby. However Mouryoumaru did turn on Naraku but is still just as evil. http://www.wot-club.org.uk/Inuyasha/images/b_and_w/v41c06p07.jpg - a link if you want to see what he actually looks like.
Chapter Eleven
"Stop the match please." Koto screamed into the mic, "This better be good. Why should we stop the fight?"
"That's not Enki up there." Yusuke yelled at the fox girl, they needed to stop meeting like this. "Isn't it against the rules or something for an alternative fighter to go under someone's name. Isn't that illegal entry or something?"
"Are you sure that isn't Enki up there?" Koto couldn't tell the difference from up here. But it was somewhat against the rules to fight in another fighter's place. The large man looked the same to her, maybe he looked more sadistic but how the hell could she tell? "Ladies and gentleman the fight has been postponed, due to suspecting illegal entry. Of course this would be unfair for two fighters to take turns under the same identity. Please give us a few moments to clear things up."
Hiei scowled wanting to know what the fools in charge were trying to pull. He didn't care if this man was Enki or not. What difference did it make, he was going to lose this fight. These stupid rules were for the weak, not real fighters. His senses picked up several people making their way towards the arena. "What the hell?" Why was Kurama and Yomi coming here? Surely a matter of mistaken identity wasn't worth this much attention.
Yomi got there seconds before Kurama to stand next to the hybrid. He looked at the man, every inch resembled the former ruler of the Makai. The only thing giving him away was his aura and his stance. Everyone that had been around the man could tell that he was a laid back person, easy to laughter. This person stood stiff, a scowl was planted on a face that was known to smile. "This fight will not proceed. What have you done with the real Enki? Somehow I doubt he'd stand back and watch you fight under his name."
"I see the calvary has arrived, shame. I was looking forward to devouring the runt there as well. His dragon would have made me a nice pet. As far as the slob and his slut wife went, they made an excellent addition to my body. Centuries I waited for someone worthy to consume. These tournaments please me, bringing out fresh meat." He smiled showing pointy teeth, he started laughing. "I guess you three will have to be the first ones I take."
Kurama saw Hiei about to pounce, "No, don't attack him. If he touchs you, he can absorb you into his body. Think Hiei, he was able to absorb Enki with ease. Attacking blindly will get us nowhere. We will deal with this offspring another way." The fox realized his mistake the second the man's head turned to him.
"I haven't been refered to that in over five centuries. I have never layed eyes upon you before, so how would you know of my origins?" He looked towards Yomi a evil smirk crossed as he sniffed as a wind blew towards him. "That scent, very pleasant. I remember the first time I smelt it. That pathetic hanyou came to my temple, not knowing who I was. She was so close to me, I should have killed her then. How was I to know that she'd one day cause my downfall and that of my creator." He started laughing, so it was true. The smell did belong to the girl. "So, she is still alive after all this time. I am pleased to know this, makes this more interesting."
"Would you like to see to whom will kill you?" The form began to change, strange armor began to form as his body lengthened. "It has taken centuries but I have finally designed the perfect body. I'm even able to absorb the power of those I consume. Unlike my creator, I do not enjoy petty games. You will all die by my hands." Within seconds he stood over twenty feet tall, shadowing over the men. The ref screamed and took off, not wanting to stick around.
"I don't care how tall you can make yourself. You will be the one to die. As far as I'm concerned this is still our fight." Hiei's aura picked up, the jagan seen glowing under the bandana. He would kill the cocky bastard for insulting him. Then the others will feel his wrath for interfering with his match. He could handle this fool, his power was weak and pathetic.
"You can keep your match, Hiei. I have no desire to become ruler of this disgusting world. I was merely wanting to absorb you but now I have changed my mind. There is someone else I will pay a visit to." He jumped in the air, surrounded by a mist of black miasma. The three men had to jump from the foul blast.
Kagome felt her heart drop hearing the statement, then he disappeared off the screen. Nothing but black could be seen as the cloud of miasma spread out for miles. 'Someone else? Shit, he means me.' She looked around at the others that were left with her. They didn't know who he was, only Shippo seemed aware of the danger. Everyone in this room was in danger because she was with them. Her senses told her he was coming straight for her. "Shippo keep everyone here."
"No, Kagome." Shippo turned but no one was fast enough to stop her. She closed the door behind herself, he ran after her. Shura beat him to the door first and was thrown back towards them. Lydon tried next wanting to follow his mother. "You can't get out that way, she's put up a barrier around the room. He'd coming for her."
Kagome could feel him coming, too fast for her liking. She had to get away from the stadium, or all these innocent people would be killed. A cramp formed in her leg as she stumbled down a flight of stairs. Teach her for becoming lazy. She could hear someone calling for her. A loud crashing sound was heard not far from her. He was literally tearing through the walls as he came for her.
Something flew over her head, crashing into the wall in front of her. The rubble started to fall, she screamed as the wall began to topple down. The large cement slab was coming for her, there would be no way for her to run out from under it in time. She held her hands up, wishing she'd died someother way than becoming a pancake. She felt something land on her, pushing her down before the cement buried her.
"Kagome!" Yomi saw the dust clear, the large pile of rocks covering his kitten. He couldn't make out her aura, the aura of the creature drowning out everything else. His anger turned to the thing standing next to the mess laughing. "You will die for harming what is mine."
"He is mine," Hiei landed on the other side of the creature, preparing to call the dragon. He glanced down at the pile of rocks and smirked. "You don't deserve to live." What kind of fighter would hunt down a defenseless human female. What kind of pleasure did he receive in trying to harm her? Not that it mattered, he would kill the ugly beast. "You have nowhere to go, prepare yourself."
"Accept your death, don't make this harder on yourself." Kurama stood opposite of Hiei, Mukuro standing next to him as well. Her eyes went to the pile of rubble and her eyes narrowed. The fox felt her aura flare filling with rage, seeing the girl harmed.
Mouryoumaru stared at all four fighters surrounding him and frowned. If they all decided to attack at once he might not survive. He was no fool, he wouldn't fight a battle he couldn't win. He couldn't tell if the girl had survived the accident or not. They wouldn't give him time to fetch her either. He longed to hear her screams of pain. Staying and dying wouldn't help accomplish that goal. He was patient if anything, let her live for now.
Kagome opened her eyes, 'I'm not dead? I don't feel any pain.' She was lying on her back, the floor was cold against her skin. Someone was breathing heavily over her, she opened her eyes. "Yusuke!" He was on his knees over her, the large piece of wall being held up on his back. They were surrounded by it, the large piece having kept the rest from landing on them. She could feel his aura surrounding him.
He tried smiling at her, feeling her worry. "I'm sure they'll be digging us out in a minute." He let his breathing return to normal seeing her okay. He hadn't been sure he'd be able to make it in time. He'd taken the corner in time to see the wall and ceiling collapsing on her. "I guess you owe me one now." That got a small smile out of her, pulling her lips up at the corners. The movement caused his eyes to lower, to land on the pink mouth.
Kagome blushed seeing what he was staring at. This wasn't the time for that, the pervert. 'Is he....?' Her eyes widened when he lowered his head. She didn't make a sound, his lips landed on hers. It caused a jolt down her spine and her stomach to jump at the contact. He applied more pressure, trying to get her to respond.
Yusuke brought his head up feeling the rubble becoming lighter. He looked down into her face, her cheeks were flushed. His eyes caught hers, once again he felt himself being drawn into their depths. Why did she have that effect on him? If he could he'd be willing to forget everything just to stay here with her. Minus the heavy ass wall on his spine. They'd be free soon, "Don't scare me like that, I thought I'd lost you again."
Kagome closed her eyes as dust stirred from the moving debree. His words rang in her eyes, what did he mean by them? When had he lost her to begin with? Light was seen as the large block was removed from his back, freeing them. "You okay?" She looked up into his eyes, hoping he wasn't injured.
"Yeah," He rolled off her feeling the anger coming from Yomi. "Think my spine is still intact." He brushed the dust out of his hair, trying to keep his eyes off her. Yomi might not flip over the position but it wouldn't bode well if he saw the hard-on he was starting to sport. Everyone asked the girl if she was okay, so much for worrying about him.
Kagome felt hands picking her up before she could blink. She was surprised to see it was Yomi, concern filled his face. Her arms went around his neck, letting him pick her up bridal style. Even she could feel his anger, fear filled her body knowing that some of it was directed at her. "You're angry with me." The words were muttered into his chest.
"Yes, you should have stayed in the room. You endangered yourself by running off, what did you think that would accomplish? We agreed that you would stay by either myself or Shura. You disobeyed me Kagome, you will be punished later." Yomi felt her nod against him, some of her tension left.
Kagome flushed at the threat feeling the smallest amount of heat pooling into her stomach. She hated to admit when he punished her, she was usually left begging for more. He had a way making her agree to whatever he said. His arms tightened around her. "Where did he go?"
"He fled, don't worry I plan on dropping out so we can go home." Yomi buried his head in her hair ignoring the stares he was receiving from the others. He could feel the amusement coming his former enemy and ruler of the Makai. He really didn't care what the woman thought about his relationship with the human girl in his arms. For once in his life he'd found something greater than his dream of uniting the Makai.
"I don't think so, don't you even try it. Do you hear me dammit?" Kagome grabbed one of his ears making sure he did. "You think of dropping out before you get your ass kicked by someone else I'm going to do it for you. You won't quit because of me or that bastard. He won't come back for awhile, he'll go somewhere and lick his wounds. Besides, he knows you are with me. I don't think he wants to die, he ran didn't he. Now, that he's gone you will finish this tournament. It's bad enough you told Shura to drop out, I won't let you do it also. I swear if you do, you'll be on the couch for a year."
"Don't threaten me woman, I have no problem taking you on the couch." Yomi heard several gasps at the implication and chuckled. "Come lets get back to the others and finish up our matches."
Kagome stared out the window listening to Lydon go on about the days event. He was estatic that he'd finally got to see his mother slug someone. She was feeling nervous seeing Yusuke's eyes keep landing on her then on their child. He'd yet to ask for an introduction. What was he waiting on? Was he worried about being rejected? That wouldn't be the case, not for Lydon. Her son knew that Yomi wasn't his father, that the man was out there somewhere. A few times she'd heard the boy ask Yomi what his father had been like. Instead of becoming angry Yomi had tried to answer the boy's question the best he could. She smiled recalling how Yomi had told the boy how they'd fought one time. Lydon had been pleased to hear that his father was strong. It made her heart ache, seeing the two so close but so far away. It would take the boy sometime to come to love his father but he wouldn't reject him. He'd been raised better than that. Part of her knew that he hoped to meet his real dad one day.
Yomi was making his way to his next fight, leaving her in the care of the others. Yusuke's friends were standing next to him, all waiting to see the next fights taking place. She silently debated on what to do, should she introduce them? It was hurting her to see him looking at the boy with such longing. Yomi would understand if she did it so soon.
She walked up to her son and grabbed his hand, "Come with me Lydon. Follow don't ask questions." The boy was about to protest until he looked at Shura who was glaring at him. Not wanting to get smacked in the head again for being disrespectful to their mother he followed. Kagome smiled at Shura, "We will be outside in the hall a ways, we won't go far." Yusuke's eyes widened and all conversation stopped when she approached him as well. "Will you come also?"
"Right," He nodded, suddenly feeling very nervous. Was she about to do what he thought? How the hell was he going to be able to fight now? He'd be too worried about the boy's reaction at finding out who his father was. He could see that his son already thought of Yomi as his father. Which ticked him off to no end.
They were down the hall away from prying eyes and ears for now. The people in the room knowing that they needed privacy for now. Kagome was thankful for it. She stopped then knelt down to their son, she smiled seeing his confused expression. "I need to tell you something. Remember how I promised you that one day you'd be able to meet your real father?" She saw him nod and could see the excitement coming from him. As she had suspected it was something he'd always wanted. Probably due to whatever Yomi had told him. Her lover wasn't the type to belittle others just to make himself look more important.
Lydon waited for his mother to speak again. He'd been wanting to meet the man ever since he'd first asked Yomi about him. He'd heard tales of the man and some of the things he'd done. He didn't really know much about humans but knew his mother was one. His head turned to look up to peer at the man standing near them, looking very uncomfortable. She had brought him along, he knew what that meant. This man must be his father, he searched the man looking for answers. He wasn't as strong as Yomi but was stronger than most of the other youkai there. It was also the man they had said saved his mom earlier. A smile split his face, "Cool, that's my dad?"
"Wow, he's a smart one; must take after you." Yusuke wasn't sure what else to say. The boy grinned at him from ear to ear, what was that look for? Why wasn't he upset? Most kids wouldn't accept a stranger just like that.
"Awesome, I get to hit you and you can't hit me back." He ran up to him and placed a hard kick into Yusuke's shin. "One day I'm going to be stronger than you, wait and see."
"Don't make me spank your ass, now apologize. You don't kick people." Kagome scolded him, she couldn't imagine what Yusuke was thinking. He had to be nervous as it was, the boy wasn't making it any easier. She snatched ahold of his ponytail, causing him to whimper. "I'm going to kick your brother's ass. I don't think you want me to tell Yomi what you just did."
"No mother," He cringed at the threat. True Yomi wouldn't strike him in punishment but would find another way to get the point across. "Okay okay, I'm sorry." He frowned when the man smirked at him. Maybe now he'd have someone better to spar with. He enjoyed fighting Shippo but he had to be careful with the fox.
Shura came out the door and walked into the hall. "Announcement just came, Father has won his match." He looked towards Yusuke, having heard the gossip inside told him everything. He was old enough to know what it meant. His parents would let Yusuke have something to do with his brother, he knew that. What bothered him was knowing that his mother had been with the man. Not so much about worrying because of her, he knew she loved his father and would never leave him. It was the way he was looking at her. He'd kill Yusuke before he sat back and let him try to steal his mother away.
"Wonderful, walk down there with me so I can meet him please." Kagome clapped her hands in front of herself. She wanted to congratulate him as soon as he got back. Three more fights and he would be able to win the tournament. She knew it was Yusuke's dream also but she couldn't help but want her lover to win. For years he had told her of his plans, what he wanted to do to make his world better.
"You mean waddle to see him." Lydon muttered under his breath, a little upset over having to apologize over kicking the man.
A hand slammed into the back of the boy's head sending him down the hall. He landed in a heap, groaning from the impact. Shura stepped forward, "Watch what you say, kick your father all you want but you will not speak so about Mother." He growled at the boy, trying to teach him a lesson. Kind of reminded him of himself when he was younger, which he didn't care for. "I think we should wait here, Father will be up shortly."
"Okay," Kagome didn't like waiting, it sucked. "Get up hun, you're making me feel bad." She smiled when he came running over and punched Shura in the stomach. "Don't start you two."
"Yes mam'." The said in unison feeling Yomi approaching quickly.
The man in question came into the hall moments later, his brow lifted seeing them standing there. He didn't get angry, he figured Kagome would introduce the two soon. Shura would make sure the man didn't get too close. Still, it would give him a reason to punish his woman. "Please leave us." He spoke with authority, only Yusuke hesitated in leaving the two alone.
