Frightful Flight

A/N: Well I've decided on putting in a lemon, but not yet. I appreciate that everyone liked it though. Please read and review. I'm not sure if I'll be able to update everyday this week because I am being assigned an essay by my honors english teacher on A Tale of Two Cities. It sucks. Anyways, I'll try my best to update. Previously

Inuyasha had not expected to be interrupted. Fate must have had a sick sense of humor. Kagome went over to Inuyasha and explained what happened and gave him a kiss after he said he understood and got dressed. He was walking her to her car and gave her a passionate kiss that promised they'd pick up where they left off soon. She smiled and drove off as she thought of ways to kill Sango. 'If I wasn't such a good friend I'd be....uhhh!'

Chapter Eleven

Kagome picked Sango up and called a tow truck. She had been silent most of the way home still fuming. Sango sensed something was up. "Uh Kag is something wrong?" Kagome tightened her grip on the wheel in response. "I'll take that as a yes. What, prey tell, is up?" she was watching Kagome's every move. She again gripped the wheel, but said nothing. "Come on Kags. I know I interrupted your date, but it's not that bad. You were just watching movies." Kagome gave her friend a glare that said 'Drop it!' Of course this is Sango so she continued to nag.

They pulled up in front of the apartment and Kag cut the engine. Kagome cut Sango off mid ramble. "WE WEREN'T JUST WATCHING MOVIES!" Sango looked at Kagome in surprise. Then it dawned on her and her face turned bright red. Kagome's mirrored the look, but got out of the car and headed to their apartment. Sango caught up with her still embarrassed at the thought of interrupting her doing 'it'. "Sorry" she mumbled trying to break the awkward silence. "I didn't know, or I would have called a cab." she spoke again this time looking at the very flush girl walking next to her.

Kagome nodded in a less aggravated mood. She was still thinking about Inuyasha and her body was still on fire. "It's fine. Don't worry 'bout it, but next time if you know I'm on a date, don't call." she looked at Sango and she nodded all serious. Kagome giggled playfully and Sango soon joined. They entered the apartment and Sango noticed Kagome's bra on the floor. She went over and picked it up. "Well someone must have had some fun." Kagome turned crimson and she threw a pillow at her. "Oh come on Kagome. Tell me all the delicious details."

After Sango finished giving Kagome the third degree, she practically fell into her bed. It had been a long and frustrating night. Not only had Sango interrupted her again, but she had to leave her date. Inuyasha said he understood, but something in his eyes said he was lying. She knew very well that if she had offered to stay he would have jumped on the chance, or more specifically her. She thought about him and tomorrow in dance class. Her heavy lids gave way and she fell into passion filled dreams.

In the morning Kagome was practically dragged from the bed by Sango. She had been fighting tooth and nail to stay in her wonderful dreams, but seemed Sango interrupted those too. What finally got her out of bed was a very cold bucket of water being poured over her head. "Alright! I'm up!" she screamed and sat upright. "Thanks Sango." she murmured ready to go back to bed. "It's fifteen minutes until you have to be to dance, but if your skipping fine by-" her sentence was cut short as Kagome shot up from bed and ran into the bathroom. 'That one always works.' Sango though with an evil smile.

Twenty minutes later Kagome was ready with her gym bag slung over her shoulder. "Geez Sango I'm late. Bye!" Kagome was about to run out the door when Sango grabbed her. "Sango I have class in-" she was cut off. Sango held out her wristwatch. "Twenty minutes?" She turned and glared at Sango. Sango gave her the innocent eyes that normally worked, but Kagome just grumbled and grabbed some coffee. "You know one day I'm gonna clock you." it was more of a statement than a question. "No you won't. You love me to much." she smiled wide as Kagome discarded her mug in the sink and walked out the door without so much as a goodbye.

The class was a buzz and Mr.Raynard had yet to show up. Kagome was stretching because today they were gonna do ballet. It was something she thought would be interesting. She felt two arms encompass her and turned to see Inuyasha smiling down at her. She leaned up and gave him a kiss, which quickly escalated until a cough from behind them met their ears. "Class as you know today we will be entering the wonderful world of ballet. I will be pairing you with new partners. Please line up when I call you." He pulled out a sheet of paper and glanced over it. "Wind and Hemoto, Wolf and Higurashi, Green and Foster." the list went on, but Kagome didn't hear anything except her and Kouga's name. She almost groaned in annoyance when he glided over to her.

Mr.Raynard grabbed a girl and did the piece. Her legs wouldn't quite cooperate so he just did the best he could to make her move in similar motions to the original piece. The music was beautiful. Kagome tried not to think of it as Kouga she'd be dancing with, but Inuyasha. When the music came to an abrupt stop and the teacher beckoned them to form lines and repeat his moves they began.

Kouga gave Inuyasha a smirk and grabbed hold of Kagome's hips. They danced well together though Kouga missed most of his solo moves. Kagome did the leap she was suppose to, but Kouga was off. She thought for sure she'd hit the ground painfully, but felt her middle section and right leg be caught. She opened her eyes to gold ones and smiled. Her right knee was bent and held in his had and his other had caught her 'round the middle. Her face was low to the ground, but it looked natural, like it fit with the dance. Mr.Raynard and half the class had stopped and watched. Kouga shouted and grabbed Inuyasha's arms. Big mistake. Kagome hit the floor and was up in a second.

Inuyasha felt hands grab him and accidentally dropped Kagome. He halled back and CRACK! Inuyasha had hit Kouga in the nose. The guy went flying and landed on the stereo. He was up in seconds, broken and bloody nose and all. He lunged forward slamming his fist into Inuyasha's stomach and whispered something, which the hanyou grunted at in reply trying to fight back. He didn't cringe, but he did lean forward. Kouga took this opportunity to repeatedly slam his knee into his stomach. Inu was about to punch him when, suddenly he was blasted by a very powerful pink beam.

Kagome had stood up and watched everything play out. As Kouga slammed his knee into Inuyasha's stomach, whispering things that seemed to piss him off. She threw her hand up and hit him with her purification powers. It was more of a reflex from her miko training, then actual intent on hurting Kouga. She watched as he flew twenty feet across the studio and land with an unmistakable snap. Inuyasha now stood up, as hard as it was seeing as the wind was knocked out of him. He looked at Kagome with surprise then turned to a very stunned class.

Class ended with Kagome taking Inuyasha to get his ribs bandaged and Kouga being taken to the hospital to be treated for a broken nose and leg. Kagome looked at Inuyasha as he was being bandaged at the campus medical center. The scene replayed in her head and she remembered Kouga saying something to him. "Inuyasha what exactly did Kouga say to you?" she wanted to know.

Inuyasha peered up at her and thought back to the fight. "It was nothing. He was just being dumb." the nurse finished her work and let him and Kagome leave. She didn't buy it, but she wasn't gonna push him. They were gonna get coffee and bagels. As they headed to Inuyasha's car the boy froze. "Inuyasha what is it?" Kagome became nervous. 'Is he hurt more, or something?' she followed his gaze to a tall Inu Youkai with silver hair and golden eyes. He looked very much like Inuyasha, but he had markings on his face and looked to be more conservative.

They made their way to his car. "What the hell to you want?" Inuyasha barked out (no pun intended). "What your tongue half breed. I'm here to let you know he’s back for the company.” Inuyasha stood dumbstruck for a moment. "WHAT?"

A/N: Yes I know a terrible place to stop, but I have school tomorrow and well it gives you something to think about. It just adds to your list of questions. Anyways I was reading this fanfic on InuyashaWorld.com and it's called 'Immortal Touch'. If you guys like a kick ass Kagome and Kouga romance plus tons of fighting scenes this is a really good story. Kagome is really tough and an assassin and Kouga is a prince. It has love, war, and a big plot. If you could give it a read that would be great. Please keep readin and reviewing my fanfic.
