Chapter 11

Inu Yasha trd Kod Kouga’s scent followed by some servants he needed in case Kagome needed help having the baby, they flew towards Kouga’s den at amazing speed and Kouga could smell them closing in on him. He wanted to get to his den before Kagome had the child which he was planning on killing, he was failing though as he could now hear them closing in on him.

Kouga stopped running when a white blur flew in front of his face, he looked down feeling some weight gone and Kagome was missing. Sesshomaru stood up in a tree with Kagome in his arms while Kouga looked around stupidly, he saw his younger brother coming up fast but stopped when he saw Sesshomaru with Kagome.

Sesshomaru handed Kagome to the servants who put her down as she was giving birth; Kouga had took off running after spotting Sesshomaru. Inu Yasha paced anxiously as the servants helped Kagome, he stopped when he heard Kagome crying.

“What’s wrong?” asked Inu Yasha running over to them.

The servant turned to Inu Yasha “my lord I’m sorry but the youkai was to rough with her when he kidnapped her, your pup was killed . . . I’m sorry” he said bowing.

Inu Yasha shook with rage and even Sesshomaru backed away scared, Tetsaiga pulsed uncontrollably at Inu Yasha’s hip “Inu Yasha” said Sesshomaru.

Inu Yasha didn’t hear him and he was reao kio kill “Inu Yasha think of Kagome,” said Sesshomaru.

Inu Yasha began to calm at the mention of her name “little brother she is sad at the loss of your pup but I have Tensaiga” said Sesshomaru “ask her if she’d like me to bring your child back.”

Inu Yasha didn’t wait as he ran over to Kagome “I-inu Yasha . . . I’m s-sorry” she cried.

“Kagome it isn’t your fault, and we can bring our pup back” said inu Yasha and saw hope flicker within Kagome’s eyes “Sesshomaru can use Tensaiga to bring him back”

“Yes, yes do it please” she said without hesitation.

Inu Yasha nodded back to Sesshomaru who had heard this and pulled Tensaiga out, he gave a swipe across the bundle in another servant’s arms. Immediately Kagome and Inu Yasha heard their child begin to cry, the servant smiled and handed the bundle to the parents.

“He’s ok,” whispered Kagome happily.

Inu Yasha nodded and they looked at the child that looked like a mini Inu Yasha, Kagome smiled happily and began to cry out of happiness and while Inu Yasha was happy for this but was angry at the wolf so he swore he would kill Kouga.

“Kagome lets get you back home” said Inu Yasha picking her up as she held the child.

Back at the mansion, Miroku had done nothing but mope since that day with Sango months ago, he tried to talk to Kanna but she left and when she returned, she was pregnant. He didn’t know that it was because of Inu Yasha but it didn’t matter, he loved Kanna but had lost her and he guessed to some male who didn’t care seeing as how Kanna came back alone.

Miroku was looking across the room where Kikyo and Rin lay with their newborns in their arms, Kanna was across the hall sleeping and he didn’t want to see her because it would only cause pain.

Kanna was actually not in her room as Miroku had thought, she told Inu Yasha she would give birth to their pup and return afterwards. She was in a nearby village giving birth with Kagura holding her hand, Kagura was wondering what was going to happen when the ‘trio’, which she found out Sango called the mate and concubines of Inu Yasha, found out about Kanna’s pup.

Sango was sitting in her room rubbing her stomach while servants bustled around her to make sure she was safe and comfortable.

“Where is Inu Yasha?” asked Sango.

“He left abruptly” said a servant “though I’m sure he’ll return shortly, why?”

“Just want my friends here when I give birth,” said Sango sadly knowing Kagome would probably hate her when she found out whose child she was having.

Sango was lost in her thoughts when Inu Yasha came in smiling; he sat next to her and told the servants to leave. When they were gone, Inu Yasha kissed Sango she smiled as he pulled away “well Kagome, Kikyo and Rin have given birth” said Inu Yasha and saw Sango look at her stomach.

“You’ll be fine” he said “are you sure you don’t want me to tell you if it’s a boy or girl?”

“No I want it to be a surprise,” said Sango smiling brightly.

Inu Yasha nodded “get some rest,” he said, “you need to stay rested ok”

Sango nodded and smiled as Inu Yasha kissed her goodnight and left, she sighed happily getting comfortable so she could get some rest.

Two days later Sango still hadn’t given birth and Kanna was returning today, the trio wandered around with their children while getting some help from the servants. Kagura still hadn’t mated with Sesshomaru and was getting pissed, Miroku still moped around and Sango stayed in bll dll day.

“Lord Inu Yasha” said a servant as Inu Yasha looked over the garden “Kanna the void has returned.”

Inu Yasha nodded and began walking to the front gates; Kanna was holding the child securely witsomesome blankets and smiled at Inu Yasha when she spotted him.

“Kanna I missed you,” said Inu Yasha.

Kanna blushed slightly and then looked at the bundle “shall we show them?” she asked.

Inu Yasha sighed, “they’ll find out eventually” he said “might as well get it over with.”

Kanna nodded and followed Inu Yasha into the castle; the servants had called everyone but Sango to greet Kanna on her arrival.

Miroku was there and was eyeing the bundle in Kanna’s arms; the trio was doing the same wanting to see the child. Kanna gave a smile and Miroku was unnerved that his once emotionless Kanna was now happy, everyone gathered around waiting to see the child. Kanna slowly unwrapped all the blankets from him and showed the room.

The result were gasps and glares from Miroku and the trio to Kanna then Inu Yasha, Miroku was almost shacking with fury as he saw the male pup had white hair which didn’t matter since the mother had white hair, but the eyes were black with flakes of gold and it had puppy dog ears and small clawed hands.

“Inu Yasha?” asked Kagome unshed tears in her eyes, while kikyo was furious and Rin was unemotional ‘I guessed he had mated with her, I don’t really like it but I won’t get upset over the past’ she thought.

Kanna was hugging her child closely waiting to see what would happen, Miroku was gripping his staff so hard that his knuckles were white and his hands were about to bleed. Inu Yasha sighed, “After my fight with Kouga months ago I became full blooded youkai and ended up mating with Kanna,” he stated simply.

“Huh that’s all?” they asked him.

“Yeah” he replied and then a servant called out to him “Sango’s in labor!” the voice rang through the halls.

Everyone began walking towards Sango’s room their attention now diverted from Kanna’s baby, Miroku still kept an eye on Kanna and glared at her and the child.

They stepped into the room minutes later and they talked quickly with Sango, then she said she wanted everyone but the child’s father to wait outside the room.

Miroku was the first heading towards the door “wait Miroku’s not the father!?” said Kagome.

“But then who . . .” began Kikyo but stopped when everyone realized there was only one other male in the room.

“I-inu Y-yasha!?” breathed the trio while Miroku just walked away.

He hung his head down and they looked from him to Sango “I’m sorry” whispered Sango and looked at Inu Yasha “come here”

He walked over to her side and held her hand the trio just stood still from shock with their mouths hanging open and eyes wide.

“Well talk later ‘mate’!” said Rin slightly angry as she emphasized mate.

“Inu Yasha?” asked Kagome but Kikyo grabbed her arm and pulled her from the room.

Inu Yasha looked at Sango and kissed her forehead while Kanna smiled at Inu Yasha and left without a word, she could sense that Inu Yasha had been with Sango before anyone because she was a demon.

Kanna stepped out and almost ran into Miroku as he glared at her “why Kanna!?” he spat angrily “I loved you, why did you leave me.”

“We were never together,” she stated simply “and Inu Yasha is stronger.”

“What about love? Is strength all you care about?” he asked.

“Yes” she stated coldly “I need strong pups, I have no time for love”

Miroku was shaking with anger but turned and left before he tried hurting Kanna and the baby, Kanna watched the monk retreat before walking towards Kagura’s room.

“What’s his name?” asked Kagura as she sat with Kanna.

“I’ve decided to name him Ukaran Yasha (A/N: for those of you who don’t know it’s Naraku backwards) he’ll be a strong demon,” she said.

“Yes I’m sure he will,” said Kagura as she picked the child up and inspected it.

It’s eyes flickered gold before becoming a silvery metallic like a mirror and Kagura could see her reflection in them and felt her soul leaving her, Kanna pulled the child away and covered his face “Sister I’m sorry he already has his powers and they aren’t under control” said Kanna.

Kagura looked confused as she tried to get her strength back so Kanna explained “he has the power of my mirror in his eyes, and the senses, reflexes and strengths of Inu Yasha” she said “with one look he can immobilize you and then tear you apart with his claws.”

“Oh my! He will be a great demon,” said Kagura and Kanna nodded.

Kagome sat on her bed playing with Inu Yasha Jr. and smiled “you’re the perfect copy of my one true love, no matter what he does I can’t hate him” she said as the baby lay between her legs and looked at her “you’re probably wondering why but I don’t even know . . .”

Kikyo came in while her kids were sleeping with Rin and Haruka, she walked over and looked at little Inu “he’s so beautiful, he looks exactly like Inu Yasha” said Kikyo as she sat next to Kagome.

“Yeah” she said and sighed “Kikyo I want to be mad at what my friend and my lover have done but I can’t, I love Inu Yasha to much to even hate him for more than a second.”

“The same with me” replied Kikyo “I’ll talk with him and ask for an explanation but I won’t hate him no matter what, as long as he stays with me to raise our children together.”

They both just sat and watched little Inu coo and play with the air, while Miroku wandered the castle and hit anything that got in his way.

A few hours later Sango had a baby boy in her arms that had black hair streaked with white highlights, his eyes a perfect mix of gold and brown.

“Will it be all right if I name him Kohaku?” asked Sango.

“It’s a perfect name love” Inu Yasha replied kissing Sango and then the baby “I’ll take him and show the others, you get some rest ok”

Sango handed the child over and relaxed “ok, I love you Inu Yasha” she said as she dozed off.
Yas Yasha found Rin sleeping first so he decided he would show her later, he sniffed out Kikyo and Kagome as he found them talking in their room. He stepped in and they looked at him and then the baby “you want to see him?” he asked nervously.

“Yes,” replied Kagome and kikyo nodded.

Inu yasha walked over and laid the little tike next to Inu yasha Jr. and the girls smiled at Kohaku “what’s his name?” asked Kikyo.

“Kohaku Yasha” replied Inu Yasha.

Kanna stepped into the room with Kagura while holding Ukaran, she walked over and laid Ukaran on the other side of Inu Yasha Jr. “and my son’s name is Ukaran Yasha” she said and the girls nodded.

“So our kid’s names are Kyo, Koy, Haruka, Inu, Ukaran and Kohaku Yasha” stated the girls.

“Yeah” replied Inu Yasha “I should get Kohaku back to Sango” and he left with Kohaku after kissing everyone but Kagura.

They watched him leave and they all sighed while Kagura looked at them “why don’t any of you do something about him? I mean he sleeps with other women and you just sit there,” she said.

“Because we love him,” answered Kikyo and Kagome.

“Because he is strong,” said Kanna.

“And because he is great in bed” all three girls answered.

They had a dreamy look in their eyes while Kagura got pissed remembering that Sesshomaru had yet to mate with her, she was tempted to go hop on him but knew he was busy with business and wouldn’t tolerate her behavior. She sighed and left the room ‘every mating season I have wanted to mate so badly, but Sesshomaru is either gone or busy’ thought Kagura ‘he better be ready to mate soon it’s almost mating season again and I won’t be able to control my bodies urges much longer, especially with all the men around . . .’

Inu Yasha sat next to Sango as she slept and he was rocking Kohaku lightly, Sango stirred and opened her eyes “Inu Yasha?” she asked groggily

“I’m here love,” he said kissing her forehead.

“Let me hold my son” she said and Inu Yasha handed him over “how did the others take it?”

“They seemed fine, Rin hasn’t seen him yet but there is plenty of time,” stated Inu Yasha as he smiled at Sango. They sat together talking about what to do next while everyone else did the same, things were going to change but no one knew if it would be for better or worse.
