A familiar Stranger

Sesshoumaru stopped for a second. “There she is.” He thought. She’s angry and upset. He focusimseimself and tried to find out exactly where she was. He suddenly felt a surge of anger and power… ‘is this from her?’ he thought. He had never felt such power, aside from his father. He began walking once again when he felt she was in pain again, and then she was lost. He sighed and he sped up his pace.

Inuyasha’s group was heading toward the next village when Inuyasha suddenly stopped; Kagome noticed he was sniffing the air.
“What’s the matter Inuyasha?”
“I can smell Naraku.”
“What?!” Sango, Miroku and Shippo said at once.
He quickly dashed away. Sango, Shippo and Kagome hopped on Kirara and Miroku was left to run. They ran/flew for a time and soon they came up to where Sesshoumaru had been just minutes before. Inuyasha sniffed the air picking up scents from he could get them.
“Naraku was here all right. As well and Sesshoumaru and Kaida.”
“Sesshoumaru and Kaida where here?” Sango asked looking around.
While everyone else looked for any clues, Miroku ed aed around and recognized the area. As soon as the saw the forgotten shrine he knew exactly where he was.
‘Why did you come back here Kaida?’ He thought searching his brain for an answer.
“I couldn’t find anything.”
“Me neither.” Sango said to Inuyasha as Kirara hopped up on her shoulder.
“We should get going before you lose Naraku’s scent Isha.sha.” Kagome said getting on his back. Inuyasha ran as fast as he could, not wanting to lose track of Naraku.
‘I guess I can always just follow Sesshoumaru.’ He thought to himself.

Kaida woke up once again in more pain that she had the first time. She decided to calm down this time and focus her energy into telling Sesshoumaru where she was. But then, ‘what if it happens again?...what if I lose him again?’
“I see you’re awake.” Kagura’s voice said from behind the door. When she was held captive by Naraku, Kagura and she got along alright. She wasn’t the nicest person, but she could carry a conversation. Kaida made up her mind, she would buy time talking to Kagura and not make much commotion until she found someway to escape.

Sesshoumaru stopped when he smelled his damn half-brother and his group coming up behind him.
“Sesshoumaru-sama?” Jaken said frightened that he had probably remembered to punish him for losing Kaida. His master said nothing but turned around and went back the way they had come.
‘Did he change his mind about saving Kaida-sama? Ooh…too bad. I liked her...’ he thought sadly.
“Jaken. Go back and make sure Rin is fed.” He said as emotionless as ever as he walked away from him. He just stood there dumfounded.
“Right away Sesshoumaru-sama.” He said as he ran toward the direction of the castle. Sesshoumaru didn’t turn around to see whether or not Jaken followed his orders. He knew he would, as usual. He walked along until he saw Inuyasha carrying his woman on his shoulders with the two humans and a fox-kid on top of a cat demon. Inuyasha, seeing Sesshoumaru stopped abruptly.
“You have something I need.” He said pointing a left finger at Inuyasha.
“That’s not possible.” Said Miroku hopping off of Kirara’s back starring at his new arm. Inuyasha quickly transformed Tetsusaiga and was ready to strike.
“I don’t have time to fool around with you today.” Said Sesshoumaru not making a mfor for either of his swords. (My opinion though…he would of reached for the Toukijin and not the Tenseiga.)
“Tetsusaiga has the power to cut through barriers. Naraku most likely has a barrier around his grounds.”
“You’re asking me to help you?” Inuyasha said trying to milk this moment for everything it was worth.
“Hmm, younk tnk to much.” He finished and started walking away.
