Sonya sat down watching the two men swap verbal insults. They were actually kind of good. Nothing compared to her but entertaining to watch none the less. She sighed her mind going over the events of the last few days. A week ago she'd been on a plane ride to Tokyo. Who would of thought this would happen. Her life had always been lonely and boring. She'd lost her parents at a young age and spent her teenage years in foster homes. After graduation came college. There was no boyfriend, only a few friends and no family to speak of. No one to go home to. The trip to Japan had been for class and a change of scenery. "I think I'm going to go bathe. Care to join me you two?"

"Sure, we'd love to." This came from Sango. She grabbed Kagome by the hand dragging away from the sparring idiots. "And you stay put." Miroku swung his hands up in innocent.

At the spring three women bathed. The moon shone down on the water's suface lighting the area. Unknown to them a pair of golden eyes watched as they spoke of the hanyou. He ignored the two on his left his eyes never leaving the one that had sparked his interest. Just then she decided to join in the conversation.

"So is that Kouga? He's the one who has the hots for you?" Sonya grabbed the bottle of shampoo from the bank.

"Yeah, hes the one. He's really kind of sweet but his attention can be annoying at times. I don't think the guy can take a hint." Kagome sighed. "They always fight like that. Deep down they've developed a sort of strange friendship."

"Have you ever thought of using that to your advantage?" she ducked her head under the water. "The way I see it poodle boy wouldn't get jealous if he didn't want you himself. So use that to your advantage. Stop being so nice."

"What do you m" T" This came from Sango.

"Well not sure yet. But give me some time to think on it I'm sure I could come up with a plan. Hah." She sputtered as water suddenly struck her in the face. A water fight soon insued between the three. Laughter rang through the forest echoing into the night. Soon, they finishheirheir playing and began to dress. Sonya was pulling on her pants when she felt a strange sensation. 'I'm not to sure but I feel like someone is watching me.' "Guys!"
They stopped to look back at her. "Do you feel that?"

"Feel what?" they asked in unison.

"Nothing I guess its my imagination. Not used to being outdoors all the time yet. Lets head back to camp." She pulled on her the rest of her clothes all the while the feeling stayed with her.

Back at camp Inuyasha took his seat up in the usual tree leaving Miroku sitting by the fire with Kouga. They were in a discussion about Naraku when the girls arrived. Shippo and Kirara were fast asleep snuggled together. Kagome and Sonya sat down on one side while Sango sat next to Kirara.

Sonya grabbed her bag and started pulling out items. First came her smokes or what was left of them. 'Great I'll be out within the next day or so.' Next came personal items that Kagome and only she recognized. After applying some deoderant and combing through her hair she put her personal items up. "Wow, forgot about these."

Kagome watched as she pulled out a plastic bag. "Is that what I think it is?"

"Maybe." She took what looked like homemade cigerettes out and lit the tip of one. She inhaled deeply. "I completely forgot I had these. Want some?"

"I've never had any before. I'm not so sure I should." Everyone was watching to see what was transpiring between the two women. 'Talk about peer pressure.' Her hand reached for what was offered. "What the hell."

Inuyasha watched as his Kagome reached out and grabbed the burning paper. His gut told him something wasn't right.
