Going Home

Sesshomaru came back into Rin's room some time later, and she was just fixing to slip off into sleep. He sat down on the bed beside her, and she roused up some. 

"Lord Sesshomaru...?"

"I am taking you back to the palace. The contract has been broken on their end, so the Eastern Lord decided not to start a war because it was their fault."

"I see."

"Let's go home, Rin."

He picked her up and carried her out, and she slept against his armorless chest.

 

Okay, I know that wasn't long, but I really haven't had much time.
