Words: 300 I don't own anything Inuyasha, or anything to do with the songs "That’s Life" and "A Kiss To Build A Dream On." ~~~ The final song of Saturday night had the huge crowd out of their seats, except for one, secretive youkai admiring the woman on stage. “Thhaaaaaaat’s life!” Such is life… “That’s what all the people say.” …To have him and Kagome in love. “You’re riding high in April.” It’s been quite a ride. “Shot down in May.” One that neither one could’ve guessed would happened. “But I know I’m gonna change that tune…” And both of them were happy for the surprise. “When I’m back on top in June.” If Sesshoumaru would have known where… more so WHO… he would have ended up with, he would’ve probably tried harder to kill her. Actually, if Kagome knew this in the past she would have developed a permanent twitch. “I’ve been a puppet…” Destiny was funny… “A pauper, a pirate…” …To give someone like him... “A poet, a pawn…” …Someone like her.
