Chapter Ten: The Comparison

*3 weeks later*

The music was drowned out as she closed the door behind them. It felt wicked but Hiei didn’t seem to mind. Kagome smiled knowing she was taking a risk. It wasn’t that she was going to try to purposely seduce him. She just wanted to be alone with him, just the two of them. Since school had restarted he’d been with her at school. Walking her to class and spending time with her after school. He’d even gone out of his way to visit her during art class. It’d gotten him a few lustful glances from Karasu in the process. They had only lasted until Kurama had walked into the door then Kagome had her little firefly back to herself.


The last two weekends prior they’d hung out both nights at Onigumo’s. Everyone was still tiptoeing around Sango. She’d only remained in the hospital for a week. But Kagome had wanted to spend time with her friend that she’d come so close to losing. It was also an excuse to be around Hiei without being so obvious. No one knew if Sango and Kurama were dating but he was with her every day. Might as well all hang out. They were the talk of the school as well. All the males were wanting to know how the hell they got corrupted. Kagome knew she wasn’t corrupted, she was the same person. She’d just never been the sweet innocent person they thought her to be. Then again no one from school hung out with her friends outside of school. She wasn’t tainted yet but if she had her way Hiei would be tainting her very soon and in a bad way.


The room was off of the back porch and away from the crowd. It’d been Yukina’s idea to throw this party. Her mother had it built on some years ago for a place to relax. Done in historical white, it contained a jacuzzi and pool. She wasn’t really in the mood to swim. She had better things planned, like kissing and necking. It probably wouldn’t go any further than that. He didn’t seem to be in a big rush to advance any further. At least she knew he wanted more than just sex from her. She put the lock on and he lifted a brow in humor. “Sorry, I don’t want to be disturbed. I don’t mind walking around in a bikini in front of strangers but showing off my bra and panties isn’t quite the same.”


Did she have any idea she was playing with fire? Hiei looked around the room, it was done in good taste. The marble floor was spotless and the wall done in a light blue. Kagome checked the temperature of the water and made sure it was on. Worrying about it being too hot for him wasn’t a problem. She set it for herself and her comfort. He could probably be in boiling water and relax. He still hadn’t moved from the spot at the door. “Can’t get wet that way.” She tugged the shirt over her head and placed it on a chair. His fingers undid the button of his pants. “Though I do not bother wearing constricting clothing. I can’t get my jeans wet so you’ll have to deal.” A small noise came from her as he slid the material down his hips. He’d get in the water with her, though he’d be enjoying more than the jacuzzi.


Kagome knew she’d stepped over the line. His eyes had gone that deep red again. Her gut twisted when her gaze went to his nude form. Gods, he was thick. “Having a problem?” Hiei smirked, she was redder than Kurama’s hair. Her jaw was still hanging open as he closed the distance. The fingers latched on the button were moved out of his way. The zipper was pried apart without care. Instead of yanking them down. He slid his palms over her waist then sent them down. The jeans came down with him. His knees bent putting his face even with her smooth stomach. Her feet lifted up so she could step up.


Kagome put a hand on his head, the thick mass of hair slid through her fingers. His mouth brushed over her belly button and the hands were gliding back up her hips. Teeth scraped the skin hard enough to make her jump but not hurt. A tremor of pleasure followed the treatment. Her knees felt like water and she wanted to squirm.
