Just a Little Rivalry

Chapter 10: Showers and Malls


Inu Yasha turned the handle that led to his bathroom. The door slid open silently, allowing him to enter without alerting the person within the shower.

He stepped into the bathroom and began to take off his clothes after setting his pajamas down next to where Kagome had placed hers. He held his breath as he pulled open the shower door.

She turned toward the cooler air that entered the stall and was greeted by a very aroused advancing hanyou. He leaned over her and roughly kissed her. In her surprise, she kissed him back, matching his fervor.

Her hair was pulled back by his clawed hand as he quickly began to rinse out the apple-scented shampoo that she favored. He reached down to retrieve the conditioner in the same sweet scent and began massaging it into her shiny, clean hair.

Kagome squelched her urge to object as soon as he began his ministrations to her hair. The sensations felt amazing, and she wanted this to happen. Once the conditioner was in her hair, she decided to relieve her mischievous little streak and pulled up the soap and body puff. Inu Yasha was backed up against the wall of the shower stall by the petite beauty that he had been pursuing since he met her. She slowly lathered up each section of his skin only to rinse and kiss the newly cleaned areas.

She latched onto a nipple when it hardened after she blew on it. As she suckled, she began to stroke his long, hard, thick length with her soapy hand. She gently explored the soft-skinned tip as she slid the soap lather around. The last part that she managed to soap up was his tightening ball sack. She palmed the weighty handful and used her fingers to work and massage him.

His growl echoed through the shower as he decided to turn the tables back on his woman. Inu Yasha gave her a kiss that clearly stated that he was the dominate one as he began to soap her stomach, making his way down to in between her legs only to plunge his soapy finger inside of her.

He continued to growl out his pleasure to her as Kagome was swept up in the pleasure that he was giving her in his quest to have her.

Kagome pulled back and pulled Inu Yasha with her to rinse off under the spray, still listening to his growls that she was being relaxed and excited by. She wasn’t sure when she had become so accustomed to them that she was able to determine his meaning, but she didn’t really give a damn at that moment.

Inu Yasha turned off the water only a moment later after everything had been rinsed off only to slip Kagome’s legs around his waist and step out of the shower. He quickly wrapped a huge towel around them as far as it would go and dashed back into his bedroom to lay the both of them on his bed-still fairly wet.

He began to nip, kiss, lick and suckle his way around her squirming body. He dipped his head down to her dripping core and took in a deep breath, pulling in her addicting scent. He tasted that scent with his tongue as it delved inside of her. She bucked and shifted her hips only to receive the pressure of his hands holding her down as he delved into his treat. He turned his head to nip at her inner, left thigh, nipping the skin with just enough pressure to draw blood. He lapped at her, healing the wound but leaving a pink mark.

He moved his hands to her butt to lift her up to his lips as he went deeper than before. He dipped his tongue inside of her and withdrew it to lick the surrounding area. Every so often, he would draw her clit inside of his mouth to suckle, causing her to scream his name as pleasure and some pain flowed into her in waves.

He continued this until he reached his goal-to taste her release first hand. She began to shift and shudder the closer she got until she was shoved over the edge that he had taken her once before sitting in the grove on campus.

After he finished thoroughly enjoying her taste, he moved over her to kiss her lips and take in her flushed features. He moved to check her tightness with two fingers.

He looked deeply into her eyes, silently asking if she was ready for him. She nodded and pulled his lips back down to her own. Her tongue slipped inside his mouth, trying to entice him to slip inside of her. Her hips pushed up into his, so she could feel his arousal pushing into her skin.

Kagome quickly found her mouth captured and covered with Inu Yasha’s. He shifted himself to position between her thighs and plunged in both her core and her mouth. He swallowed her startled gasp as he broke through the proof of her innocence.

Kagome stiffened momentarily then began to thrust her hips up to Inu Yasha, who began a rhythm of thrusting and pulling back going deeper each time.

She began a crescendo litany of Inu Yasha’s name as her release began to build back up. He wasn’t very far behind her and held her closer to him with his face buried in her neck.

Her release was sudden and intense, pushing him over the edge into his. He bit his lip a split second before she came and bit into her neck as he poured his seed deep into her.

He smiled down at her and curled her onto her side to draw her back into his front. Inu Yasha held her like that throughout the night.


~The Next Morning~


“Morning, beautiful,” Inu Yasha greeted her with a kiss on her forehead. He mischievously smiled down at her before continuing. “Last night was a little earlier than I had planned. All I was going to do was help you wash up and take my own shower, hopefully, with your help.”

Kagome’s own grin was a little sheepish as she pushed her nose into his chest. “It was good, though. What will your parents think of what happened? They only met me last night, and you have now taken me as your mate.”

“I think they will be thrilled. They loved you on sight, remember.”

“Well…”

He cut her off with a kiss before he sought to verbally reassure her. “We can still have a wedding, but we are already an unbreakable couple by demon standards. So, there was nothing wrong with what happened. Now, let’s go see the family and call your mom.”

The two got out of bed, put on clothes and headed downstairs toward the breakfast bar.

Before they reached the small room, they ran into a smirking Sesshomaru.

“Well, boy, you finally did something smart that may bring honor to your name. You mated this strong miko. Should I offer my congratulations?”

Kagome had had enough of his smugness as she stepped forward.

“Yes, we’re mated. We were planning on it but wanted to get to know each other’s families first. My mom had already granted permission. There is also to be a wedding. Inu Yasha has been nothing but honorable towards me ever since we have met. Get that damn stick out of your ass and be a brother rather than an antagonistic bitch!”

Inu Yasha quickly grabbed the pissed off Kagome and shoved her behind himself. He knew his brother may not interact well with people, but he sure did have a temper. He also understood that Kagome was going to be very protective of him. Yep, she sure was going to be a hellcat that would scare off anybody.

Thankfully his parents rounded the corner into the hallway everybody was standing in just in time before there was a big fight.

“Morning, Sesshomaru,” Inu Tashio greeted as he sensed his building rage. It seemed to be directed all at the small girl that his younger son was intent on hiding. He paused briefly to sniff the air before directing a nod at the other couple. Izaoyi began to usher everyone through the door leaving her mate and older stepson alone in the hallway.

“I know you don’t like to tell me what’s wrong, but what?”

“That girl insulted me. I know she is a miko, but I don’t think that she was aware of it. Well, not really aware. She and Inu Yasha are mated now. She was pure until last night.” He cut off his explanation with that.

Inu Tashio just nodded before asking, “Did you insult Inu Yasha? If you did, she may have just been trying to protect him. Please just relax; she may apologize but just let it go. You will one day find a mate. Oh, I think Miroku may be over today with his girl. Rin may tag along with him. You know how that little girl likes to stick to you.”

He was trying to redirect Sesshomaru’s grumpy mood and get him back in his good humor. Thankfully, Sesshomaru perked up slightly with the knowledge that his admirer was coming over later.

The two joined the other three in the room and began to eat. Izaoyi was in an animated conversation with Kagome. They began to bring everyone into the debate on what to do for the wedding, housing near the campus and so on. Sesshomaru was even drawn in when Kagome eyed him softly and apologized, asking him to be a part of the human ceremony. He was reluctant at first, but she won him over by pandering to his ego and talking about trying to use Rin as a flower girl.

They decided, after many insistences from the new couple that they didn’t want a large place when they would just be traveling between homes and families while they are in school that an apartment or a house depending on availability could just be rented.

Inu Yasha decided that he needed to get a ring for Kagome and that she could be allowed to choose one that suited her tastes. They opted for a mall because she said that there were certain items she needed for school and such.


~At The Mall~


Inu Yasha guided Kagome into the jewelry store that his mom had suggested. The couple was instantly greeted by a tall, slender blonde inquiring what she could do for the couple today.

She perked up the instant engagement rings were mentioned and began to pull out several displays, all the while asking about preferences and if they would like to pick out matching bridal sets.

Kagome looked up at her love and shrugged. Why not? To her way of thinking, the more she could get done sooner, the sooner the wedding could take place.

Inu Yasha just smiled down at her, aware of and pleased with her eagerness.

He looked down at a display that held white gold rings and saw the one he knew would be perfect. He picked it up and held it out to Kagome. She gasped and slid the ring on her finger-a perfect fit.

The ring had a beautiful diamond with two smaller sapphires on either side.

The sales attendant smiled at their purchase and immediately pulled out a few bridal sets that would match it.

Kagome selected the bridal rings. She decided to surprise Inu Yasha with an inscription on the inside of his ring describing what he was to her.

After the couple found the ring and bought what they needed and wanted to, they ventured into the arcade. There would be plenty of time later for selecting other wedding accessories. Inu Yasha started playing the video game that was situated next to the one that Kagome selected. The held races on two of the cars and competed in other games. Kagome laughed the entire time. He barely left her side throughout the entire time.

Neither noticed the three dark headed men that walked into the arcade. One went straight to the game that he had wanted to play, a racecar game. The other two took in the other patrons before their gaze settled on Kagome. They sat back and observed her as she and Inu Yasha went from game to game. They grabbed their youngest brother and left as their object of interest did. They fallowed the couple out to the car, already knowing their destination.


Well, here is my tenth chapter. I hope you all like it. Let me know what you think. Sorry that it has taken so long. I have been moving! (YAY!!! I found a nice house to rent. Same amount in rent, but much bigger!!! Goody, goody.)

My next chapter shouldn’t be too long from now, but I need to work on my other story. (Listed under Koga/Kagome)
