Kagome opened her eyes slowly as she yawned quietly, her body felt warm and tingly from her master's latest treat. Slowly climbing off the futon she crossed the room to open the bedroom door looking down the hall. "Master?" From down the hall she could hear what sounded like grunts and lustful whimpers. Tilting her head Kagome started down the hall, stopping when she reached the last bedroom. The door was cracked slightly and she peeked in, hands flying to her mouth stiffling the gasp of shock that threatened to spill out.

When Kagome's claws laid his cheek open to the bone he had done nothing, letting her get the anger out but at her words he swore throwing her to the ground in the bedroom. "YOU PUSH YOUR LUCK FEMALE!"

His eyes were bleeding red, standing over her fangs bared. "I must've been a fool to put my mark on your shoulder! you know nothing of the Inu customes here I am thinking that you were smarter but obviously bitch I was mistaken!"

Getting to her feet, she bared her fangs snarling in his face. "I'll escape you Lord Sesshomaru! i'll run away where you can never find or hurt me ever again!" Suddenly she brought her knee up into his groin hard.

He had not dared to believe she would strike him after he had seemingly set her in her place, but suddenly he saw stars dancing before his eyes. Dropping with a grunt of shock. He may be powerful but even a blow to the jewels could bring a Inu to the ground.

She watched him drop then she whirled around, running from the room not stopping as she used her speed to quickly escape the castle grounds breaking into the forest. Her side hurt as she pushed herself harder, leaping over tree's and fallen brush. "Never again will I allow you to hurt me like you have"

It had taken him a few seconds to recover but when he did he was hot on her heels, his demon baying at the sight of it's choosen mate fleeing from him. Eyes blood red as snarl broke past his lips. He did not waste his breath with words quickly baring down on Kagome he could see her up ahead approaching a broken well.

Making a leap of faith Kagome felt herself land on the edge of the well, turning in time to see the look of rageful lust on Sesshomaru's face. She smiled a smile of pure victory as she pushed herself back, feeling the pull of the old magic blinding flash of pink as she fell back into her own time.

The Present:

Her mind sent her winging back to the present time, turning her head slowly so she could stare at Sesshomaru. "I escaped you once swearing you would never hurt me again. What a fool I was to think you'd not find a way to break my heart to pieces"

He blinked hearing her voice, it was so empty and cold. Dawning on him he recognized the look in Kagome's eyes, he had seen it once before in the eyes of his precious ward the day he had chased her out of his life for good. A broken look of utter desolation pure loss. "Kagome" He spoke softly, reaching down to touch her cheek. "What have I done to you my sweet sweet Kagome"

She never got a chance to answer, the door to Sesshomaru's room bust open as Sango, Shelia, and Shippo crashed in. "GET AWAY FROM MY SISTER DEMON!" Sango screamed, throwing a canister down on the ground hard. She had once again reverted to traditional demon slayer garb. A mask covering her face along with her two companions.

Green gas quickly filled the room, Sesshomaru turned to snarl before the gas seeped up his nostrils. Tears leaked down his cheeks as his throat seemed to close up. Gagging and coughing as he dropped to one knee glaring at Sango. "Don't you dare touch her Sango!" He managed to cough the words out, his world growing dark as he felt his body drop.

Sango moved past Sesshomaru, grabbing Kagome off the bed quickly placing a mask over her face so she wouldn't breath in the fumes. "It's okay sister, Im here to help you" Cradling Kagome in her arms she turned with a nod to Shippo and Shelia, quickly departing from the room.

Kagome hung in Sango's arms, staring up at her friend in silent shock, she had not expected any help from the one person she thought she had chased from her life when she had yelled, but here Sango was carrying her from Sesshomaru's room. "Thankyou Sango" Whispering before a peaceful darkness enveloped her.
