The reviews on this fic are horrible, only a few with so many chapters, but thank you so much for the ones that did review!
I can make Inuyasha and group do as I please, but I still don’ t own them. I hope you are enjoying the story.

~~~ Chapter 10~~~


Inuyasha sat there as he watched Kagome leave him there for the rest of the day. He sat there for what seemed like forever, eventually falling asleep in her bed. It was amazing how well he slept in her era, no worries, no one out to get him. By the time he got back downstairs it was two hours before it was time for Kagome to come home. Inuyasha paced around a bit, but then decided that he was going to surprise her at the school. ‘I know she will be glad to see me,’ he thought to himself, as he got ready.

He grabbed the silver-gray Calvin Klein shirt out of the bag Kagome left him and put it on, admiring how it looked on him. It set off his hair perfectly. Following the shirt he tried the underwear, but Kagome was right, she had underestimated his size. He laughed, he could hardly get them on they were so small. She must have been really surprised at how big he actually was. He then took out the dark blue jeans that were in the bag and put them on as well, grabbing his socks and silver and black sneakers.

Sliding the hat over his ears, he admired his new look in the mirror. “She actually has pretty good taste, and knows my size pretty well.” Everything, except the underwear, fit perfectly, enhancing the curves of his well toned muscles.

At the bottom of the bag he found a pair of Oakley’s and slid them over his eyes, “Too bad I have no ears to hold them in place… they look good on me.” Inuyasha grabbed a few blankets and pillows from her room, dropped them off, and then started his way to the school.

Girls and women fawned over him as he made his way to see Kagome. This was not something he was used to. He would just blush as the girls giggled and squealed and the women whispered as he walked by. Of course he could here everything they were saying.

When he arrived at the school there was twenty minutes left before school let out, which was way too long. He propped himself against a tree and stood there waiting to see her come out of the building, waiting to just whisk her away. He had something special planned.

His ears perked as he heard the school bell ring and the doors burst open with teenagers running about, and all kinds of girls gawking at him as they passed. Not long after the bell rang, Kagome walked out the school doors, enveloped by her friends, laughing with them. He smiled as he saw her laughing, and called out to her to get her attention, “Kagome! Over here!”

Kagome heard her name, along with all her other friends, and turned to see who it was. Inuyasha stood by the tree, waving, trying to get her attention. She smiled and waved back, noticing how good he looked in the clothes she bought. “Hey!” she yelled over the chaos.

Her friends finally took notice of whom she was waving at and flipped out. Yuki, Fumi, and Miya (sorry I don’t know their real names) were Kagome’s best friends in school and they were all single at the moment. Yuki screamed out above the other girls who were now entranced with the strange man’s beauty, “Oh my god! He is gorgeous! You must tell us who he is and if he is single!”

The other two girls chimed in hearing Yuki speak out, “Yeah Kagome, tell us who he is!”

Kagome smiled wryly and made her way over to Inuyasha, sliding up next to him by the tree. “I would definitely say he is taken. Wouldn’t you Inuyasha?” She looked up at him and grinned.

He laughed and slid his arm around her waist. “Yeah, you could say that.” He pulled off his sunglasses, revealing his beautiful eyes, and placed them on Kagome. “They fit you better anyway,” he toyed tugging on her ears.

The girls gasped when they took notice of his eyes, those beautiful amber eyes, and the apparent fact that he and Kagome were together. They were all shocked and Fumi cried out, “But what about Houjou?” Miya chimed in as well, “You better not be cheating on Hojyou Kagome!”

Inuyasha turned to Kagome demanding to know who Houjou was. “Who in the hell is Houjou and why do these girls think you’re with him?” He was trying his best not to get jealous, but he couldn’t help it.

Kagome spun around on her heels to face her friends. “Will you shut up! I never liked Houjou that way! Is it my fault that he had the biggest crush on me and always brought me stuff! No!”

She turned to Inuyasha and spoke to him so only he could hear. “Remember the feathered robe of the heavens that Kaguya was after. Well I suppose you remember the man that came along with it as well then, the one that was in love with me. Well that Houjou is this Houjou’s great ancestor.” She spoke loudly now, “Not that I should have to explain myself.”

Inuyasha simmered a bit as she spoke, but boiled again as she finished it off and snapped at her. “Are you ready to go yet?”

She ignored him and quickly turned to say goodbye to her friends. They were still shocked and very envious, but they all gave her a hug and said their goodbyes. “Don’t worry, I’ll see you tomorrow and spill all the beans!” All the girls giggled as they left.

Still ignoring his snap, she turned to Inuyasha to examine her purchases up close; she nodded her head in satisfaction. “Yep, I really know how to shop. So, how do you like the clothes?” With no response she began to walk and the heat began to get to her. Once out of sight she grabbed Inuyasha’s hand. “Screw this, I am taking the short way home!” she squealed happily, trying to ignore Inuyasha’s sudden change of mood.

Inuyasha pulled her towards him to stop her from disappearing. “Wait, not yet. I don’t want to go back to your house,” he quickly blurted out. Had he not been so jealous, Kagome might not have taken it the wrong way, but he had a tone.

Kagome threw his hand down, snapping back at Inuyasha. “That is it Baka! I can’t put up with this any longer! I have already told you we can’t go back to the feudal era until I’m finished school! It would be too tiring to go back and forth! Do you hate it here that badly?!”

He growled intensely, grabbing her arm and bringing her close, squeezing harder the more he yelled. “Stupid bitch! I came to see you so that we could spend some time alone together! How was I supposed to know that you were spending time with some Houjou character! I should have known better then to come here with you! I knew eventually you would tire of me, although I didn’t think so soon! What is the matter? Are you too good for me in your own era?”

She snarled at the word bitch and tried to pry herself from his tightening and painful grasp around her arm. “How dare you call me a bitch!” The more she struggled, the harder he squeezed, until she screamed, “Let go of my arm you mutt!”

Inuyasha released her arm instantly. He didn’t realize that was holding her that hard, and stared shocked at what had just come out of her mouth. He looked at her arm and saw the bruises and blood from where he had grabbed her. “Stupid wench, look what you made me do! I thought you, of all people, understood what I was and accepted it. Apparently I was wrong to put my trust in a human like you!”

Before she could stop him, he took off, faster than she could keep up on foot. “Inuyasha!” she called out to him. She felt horrible for the things she said, even worse because of the things he said, but she was determined not to let it end like this. “After all we have been through you are just going to leave me! I don’t think so!” With a quick look around to make sure no one was watching, Kagome snapped her fingers and disappeared.

Inuyasha had found himself a tall tree to hide in to let his self cool off a little bit and kicking himself for hurting Kagome. ‘I shouldn’t have grabbed her like that. I drew blood. I am a bad person. But she deserved it… no, she doesn’t deserve that. No matter what she said I shouldn’t have done it.’

He hung his head in shame, no longer angry, and buried it in his hands, never noticing the figure forming before him. “I am so sorry,” he whispered to himself.

“Apology accepted, then.” Kagome scared the hell out of Inuyasha, causing him to fall out of the tree and her to laugh hysterically.

Inuyasha jumped back up on the branch gunning for Kagome. “Why you little… how dare you sneak up on me like that!” He reached out to grab her but she instantly transported herself to the bottom of the tree. “Hey! Stop that!”

“Are you going to calm down? Are you going to stop being so jealous?”

“NO! I won’t calm down until you apologize too!” he bellowed, angry all over again.

“Awe, did I hurt your feelings? Well I guess since you already did, it won’t hurt me any. I am so sorry Inuyasha.” She re-appeared next to Inuyasha, she really did feel bad for what she had said. “Now can we go home?”

Inuyasha shook his head, “No!”

“I think all the girls at the school might have given you a big head Inuyasha. I mean, I saw the way they were looking at you in those clothes, and I noticed how cocky it made you.” She tried to change the subject to lighten the mood.

“Yeah right, like that would give me a big head.” He smiled at her, “I can’t help it if I am beautiful. But I can give you a piece if it makes you happy,” pulling her to him and lightly kissing her neck. “Now where can you take us?” he whispered into her ear, sending shivers down her spine.

She lowered her voice seductively, “I can take you wherever, whenever, and however you want.”

“Then let’s go to the well house at the shrine. I have some blankets and pillows there,” he said as he wrapped himself around her. “But we’ll have to sneak in; I think your mom will be watching for us, or I should say me.”

“So you were thinking ahead? I like that in a man.” She grinned as she grabbed his hand, “Now I see why you didn’t want to go home.”
